I had installed my JLT last year...at the 6000 mile oil change it had caught 2.5oz of blow-by....at the 3000 mike inspection I added the 3oz extension cup, so now it will hold up to 6 oz. So I definitely don't have to check this catch can until my 6000 mi oil change.
I have been watching a few of your videos. Great installs! Where at in Texas are you? I just bought a 2017 GMC Denali 6.2, and am in the process of doing everything you have done. Im in Leander TX.
@@TheCortezChannel. just ordered the catch can, and my S&B should be in today. I can't decide which cat back I want to go with, but the Texas speed way did a great job!
I know it's been a year but that's how long I've had mine and it's still catches oil and doesn't do any noise whatsoever. Definitely recommended for your 15 and I have 15 Sierra
@@TheCortezChannel. thanks bud. I look forward to getting it. It’ll be a nice addition and it seems easy to install. Your video is the reason I got this one. The others with zip ties and whatnot would be difficult down on that dirty connection I think. Good video man. Thank you.
Ice cream truck in the background at 08:30 made me want to buy one :)
This video was awesome bro!
Clean setup bro 😎🤟
I have 5.3L and damn ypu show install is super easy. Great video.

I appreciate the video.
Bit of advice. Consumers don't need a 12 minute video. Consumers want a 6 minute video.
I'll take that into consideration for future videos! Thanks for watching!

1st off thank you for watching! I'm located in south Texas, Brownsville. The most southern city in Texas!

@@jfriske6834 that's great, the TSP is budget friendly and really sounds great. 3.5" tubing and the cutout is also a great thing.

Saw another video on a 2020 that had vacuum noise from the hoses going to can. Did you have this hissing noise? Thanks for the information!
No issues whatsoever! Still working 100% perfect.
Hey man great vid. I have the same exact year and color All Terrain 6.2l. How often are u changing it and any complaints or any thing of the sort?
No complaints whatsoever! I do find myself emptying it once a month or so. There's usually a small amount to empty.

The instruction say the "T" side of can (JLT logo) goes to the the PCV valve.
how would you identify the clean and dirty in and outlet??
There will be instructions provided.

How does it do? I just ordered this one and the 3oz extension so that it holds 6oz for my 18 Denali.
And how often are you having to empty it?
It's doing great! I empty it probably alot more frequent than I have to lol

Installing an oil catch can aims to reduce the amount of oil vapors re-circulated into the intake of the engine.
