The last time i was this early, everything was in black and white.
Good to see youre still uploading, was kinda worried you quit... Probably my favorite video to date
Is this who i think it is?
Honestly, the competition for the kingship is even wilder, because Ra doesn't strictly speaking set up a series of tasks, he just sets the one. And then when Horus wins, he sets up another. And another. It's honestly hilarious just how obviously Ra wants Set to win, he might as well be waving around a foam finger with Set's name on it.
Which makes sense, of course. Set is the peerless warrior who guards the Solar Barge through the Duat, the only one who can resist Apep's hypnotic glare and strike the first blow beginning the battle that gets Ra safely through the Seventh Hour of Night every. single. time. Horus? Horus is the pissant son of the ***** who poisoned him and then extorted his true name in exchange for the antidote. I'd be in a "fuck Horus" mood too after that.
I always loved the dual nature of Sutekh, even if some tales featuring him in mythology were straight up weird. Such as in one myth, he fathered the crocodile god, Sobek, with the Goddess Neith, Ra’s sister and/or mother.
Banging video tbh
I think we have found a video that has beaten DAVIS’s video about the canon smut fic with the 8th doctor I need to rinse my brain now
Oh shit Sutekh lore
So the reason why they didn't make Sutekh more accurate to the myths is because they wanted to keep the age rating. Because goddamn even Loki isn't this freaky
Loki once turned into a mare, to get rooted by a Stallion and gave birth to a horse with 6 legs that Odin took as a mount.
That's not the only time hes done something like that. His other children are a giant serpent, a girl who is half corpse, and a giant wolf, and its left to our imagination what the parents were and if loki was the mother or the father.
Mythology is and always will be a little weird, and thats on us. Our cultures and standards of modesty keep changing and we've lost most of the context.
I time traveled to be first. But how?!
0:53 please do not use the word spastic like this. this is an offensive term used for individuals who have cerebal palsy. Using the word in this context is abelist.
I'm sorry I wasn't aware. I'll avoid that word in future. Thanks for pointing it out
