Cinnamon you find in Cinnamon rolls or Cinnamon bread, or the Cinnamon you have in walmart are NOT Ceylon Cinnamon. They are Kasia cinnamon which is a cheaper varity from China. Ceylon Cinnamon is very expensive and you find those only in preimium hotels where they make proper dinning. Sorry to disaapoint you. May be you have never tasted cinnamon but only Kasi! 😂

Sri Lanka is surrounded by the sea, so it is a very beautiful country. It is not dangerous for outsiders at all. What is very interesting is that the temperature varies depending on the town. The top and bottom are completely different temperatures, and it is cold in the middle. The food in Sri Lanka is also very delicious.

No, you can eat home cooked food from some shops. Sri Lankan food is among the most delicious in the world. There is no difference between home food and celebrate food. Sri Lanka has the highest natural and herbal food in the world. My challenge to you as a Sri Lankan is to show me a non-medicinal (non-artificial) Sri Lankan food.
FYI, Sri Lanka has McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell, KFC, Popeye etc, also Chinese, Korean, German, Japanese, Italian, Swiss, Indonesian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian, Lebanese, Mediterranean restaurants in addition to local Rice & curry restaurants from exclusive to roadside eateries. Street food is also there.

Now here is another fact!, while Sri Lanka has all that fun facts, quality Sri Lankan tea is not available at the local supermarkets for local consumption. We get only the dust from all the exports. it is a sad fact. If we are to find premium tea from somewhere in Sri Lanka they are very expensive as compared to what they are sold in the international market. So my brother gets Ceylon premium tea from the UK to SL whenever he visits us. I can tell you their is a BIG difference in the taste.
