It can pull 30's pretty decent, BUT we always tell the owner, if you want MORE, then clutching is what you want. 3 stages depending on the aggression they want the clutch to be.
We were going to build shocks to max the potential of the HCR kit, but have not been able to get that done, took the kit off ours and put our wicked MT Long travel kit on and sold the hcr awhile back. But we sure can do it, just need someone with the kit to get some numbers so we can build prototypes.
@@HesterEdition gotcha. If I had a new machine, I’d go with your MT kit with at least the stage 3 setup. I have a 2012 LE that’s had the HCR kit on it for several years now. It’s worked well for me. But I wish the shocks were more adjustable. I also wish they would they would’ve used a different spring rate for the fronts. They used the same as the rears,…and it left me with the adjustment collars two turns from the top. Any more than that,…the shocks would abruptly top out when climbing hills. While set up like that, you can’t really gain any ground clearance,…even and extra inch or so.
@@amandadavis9726 the HCR is really plush, but not high performance, push the suspension and it falters, and yes needs to be valved and sprung better. They are good for what they are, but pricey for the performance :). Yes the MT kit we have decimates the HCR, and on an "S", just adding our shocks will rival the HCR in articulation, but crush it on performance, the way I built ours with the 2 stage valving it amazing no matter the speed on any stage. Thank you for watching :)
I wish I could show pictures I got stage 3 on a maverick xmr believe me, didn’t make it work any better stage five maybe but then you’re spending a lot of money just keep what you got. Don’t waste your money on that shit.
You're not comparing apples to apples if you don't know what youre talking about sshhhhhhh the stock shocks on a teryx suck it's a completely different application also if you don't know how to tune your shocks no shit you won't see a difference which since you made this comment seems to point to you no knowing what you are doing you can't just slap a set of shocks on and expect a huge difference without knowing how to tune them to your riding 😂
John nice build! My 2018 build is still kicking butt on the trails. Thanks for sharing! Andy W.
Glad to hear it! Thank you
Pretty Awesome John!
Thank you, they make a world of difference.
Great looking mods!!! I'm guessing the stock CVT transmission can't handle upgrading to 30's?
