I started playing this game today. The early game experience is really amazing. As a former Blox fruit player, it’s liberating to break free from a legacy of autoclicking and braindedness in general.
Blox fruit was only fun when I was watching one piece and now after grinding so many hours it feels useless. You could probably compare Blox fruit to the worst 9-5 job ever.
Jaychirs' patient though 😂 Give that man an award for not even trying to do anything about two people trying to explode his whole career and carrying on his day like its normal. It took 2 hours but Jay held on pretty long.

It's an AWESOME FPS where you are (theorically) an unstopable machine that kills everything on your way. It has great level design and the boss fights are the cherry on the top. If you're instrested, give it a little try ;)
that rant on how its not fun to play with friends or without is totally accurate i just farmed until a boss then beat it with some other dude or my friend the only time i interacted with other people is to goof around with friends or bosses the design isn't the best

I think Vetex needs to make it so that grind quests can only be completed a few times, so that people don't say, "Oh, this grind game, that's why it turns me off." There are a lot of quests in this game besides grinding, but for some reason players choose to grind and then complain that the game is monotonous. I also wanted to note about chests, you can give your friend the received galleons and items without demanding anything in return.
I love giving exotic pies with cursed mushrooms for free to new players so they think im donating them a legendary epic exotic special meal with 82 hunger when im actually drugging them out so their screen looks fucked up
Yes, I do agree that the server side item spawns is f*cking stupid in terms of gain design, but this game feels odd anyways, and making items server side makes the game feel more realistic, as that is how it've been if 2 people did a quest in real life. More players = more power, but also need more resources.
Fun fact Eclipse: The Colossal Squid, when held, blocks players who are hauling cargo and (in theory) those carrying sealed chests. Least that's what happened briefly when I was screwing with my own friends.
I think the reason there are level locks is because the devs don't want you to progress through the story too fast, since there's not much of it at the moment.
The part that sucks about AO is the xp nerfs from quests basically forcing you to going to Silverhold / Whitesummit to cheese the bosses. This is more prevalent on second playthrough + since you already know what there is to explore but the level gates make the transition from on-rails story progression to exploration awkward, since all of the repeatable quests on Frostmill are basically screaming at you to grind them over and over (also the frost brigand quest gives like 1/4 of the xp the mine quest does??? It’s triple the distance and requires you to kill more why tf is it so shit?). Also G for block is a sin worse than the devil himself could conjure why is it not F, there’s a reason an important mechanic’s keybind is RIGHT next to WASD I hate this game and after posting this I’m going to max my 5th character because I hate myself just as much. Good day.

The game is in early development right now so I can’t really be upset about it but I’d imagine that a pvp mode and more story content are going to be developed. Hopefully end game PVE will be added as well, like dungeons / raids or special world bosses other than the sharks and Commodore Kai / Architect Merlot (they’re not fun to fight imo).
I get u but for me and my friends we all like to do side quests separately so when i do quest someone already did and i have his knowledge of what to do for finishing faster

Ao is a great game the only concern i have is the anticheat. they made it if you level to max in under 4 hours u get banned instantly by anticheat. i mean its good and all but lots of legit players who grind merlot with a cheese(basically hitting them through the wall)(currently the best way to level up) get banned like i did. and even if you have evidence its unappealable.
