I bought a mid in the mountain magic pattern. That lil fella runs like no other I've ever used. Awesome body roll on a pull or straight retrieve. Speaking of, straight retrieve is a criminally underrated way to fish rubber baits.
Great video, I’ve been trying to find a good image of the various sizes online and hadn’t had much luck before this, great info on them after that too!
AWESOME TIPS!!!! ACTUALLY I figured out the "Boiling" PROGRAM.....to soften and straighten its 2 minutes for Reg-HUSKY-Monster , 90 secomds for mid and mini. "NO DAMAGE" TO LURE's w/ BIG GAIN IN ACTION!!! SAME PROGRAM FOR BULLDOGS based on size . Poseidon is 90-120sec. as well! CHEERS from Idaho! jd
Mend it works very well for bulldawgs, red October tubes, and chaos soft plastics. It does not work at all for shadzillas. Make sure you let your bait dry before using mend it or it won’t work. We blow the big cuts out and leave them in the sun for 20 minutes or so and they are ready to glue typically. You can always fix them up at home. Badly shredded baits get 5-10 cuts fixed at a time so you don’t pull the glue apart before it sets up. It takes about 60 seconds to fully react with the plastic. It isn’t really a glue, but MEK and plastisol so it starts a chemical reaction that you’re waiting to complete.
The Lonesome Fisherman I've never really played around with Mend It, but I know guys use it. Super glue seems to work for some soft plastics, but not others, so I've just been going with the hot knife tactic 😁
If you get a chance to come to New Brunswick Marlon Prince is the guide to go out with. Guy knows his stuff. I picked up a regular this past weekend to try this summer and will probably get a mini too. Hoping to get my first one to the kayak.
Hey man I missed you at the show today. I was busy with a bunch of other guys and by time I made it around to your booth this afternoon looks like you had left. I didn't know you filmed with Cory Olsen, I'm buddies with him for a few years now. We met on the tournament trail . Feel free to get ahold of me next time you make it up to Northern Wisconsin. You and I fish some of the same water. I might have a spot or two.
I bought some Salt water squid swim baits and tried them on lake St. Clair. The muskies went nuts for them! I used the 10 inch Savage Gear 3D squid lures and the musky loved them! The Medusa looks like a squid. Is that why it works so good? I caught 14 musky on the squid lure averaging 20 to 30 inches in one day, but if they made a 15 inch squid, the big ones would go bonkers for it! Salt water lures for fresh water fish! The life like swimming action of the swim squid is so real and so enticing that the Musky just inhale them!!!! My new weapon of choice for musky! SQUID! Pass it on!
I've noticed The packaging seems to mess up the tails they kink and then run funky. Boiling the tails seems to be the only way I can get them most of the way back in shape. If possible always buy the ones off the rack

What do you think of superglue or Mend It to repair rubber baits?
Nothing wrong with walleye fishing.

@pepepepert I'd love to fish with Marlon someday! He's dialed in out there! Good luck to you!
@@AnglingAnarchy Thank you. I have this lure and an inline spinner. What else would you suggest as a starter lure?
@@pepepepert A glide bait and a lipped minnow bait would be a few others that are good to have!
@@AnglingAnarchy Awesome thank you.

Robert Ornberg Sorry I missed you man! Cory and I have had some awesome days on the river, that's for sure!
My Medussa regular size barrel rolls to the right no matter how I twist it around. Don't have that problem with the mini and micro size.
Same here. Got a shallow reg, and it does barrel rolls like crazy. My mini and micros don't do it at all.
Great video...appreciate it
Jeffery Wine Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Can you use those weights on a swimin dwag from musky innovations
Musky guy adventures The Deep Threat weights should work on the swimmin dawg.
Sometimes you gotta widen out the hole in the weight to make em fit

Ice out muskies in Iowa. Let's gooooo..
Tony Arneson I'll be a little later, first weekend in May 😊
@Angling Anarchy heck ya. It would be cool to team up and teach them fish who's the boss!!!
To repair rips in your soft baits, use super glue. It works great!
@mooncritter721 Yep! I keep a bottle in the boat at all times!
