I failed my first test in Wanstead 3 months ago and have just managed to secure a cancellation in Barnet this Saturday. I'm super nervous as I've ever driven there before but will see how it goes! Thank you for this video, very helpful!!
@@salmaabdullahgb I failed on this test unfortunately, but I passed in Enfield with 1 minor and have been driving for 4 months now! Good luck everyone, all I can say is driving is not as hard as it seems when we are learning!! :)
I'm gutted, i did the same route, except i went hadley wood, and got back to the test center and lightly tapped the barrier on my reverse bay park. The entire car park was packed also, so it was tricky to actually do the turn. I instantly failed with a single minor :( - It was the worst route for me as i hated the A1 metal bridge part.
@@ZONDOdriving yeah, I very lightly tapped it. Also in total I had a single minor for 1mph over speed limit on Mays lane (20 limit). So it was gutting. Sucks as it was foggy and rainy that morning.
Hello! At minute 2:30 you said you don't need to go all the way around the mini roundabout and can drive over it, but rule 188 of the highway code says this "Mini-roundabouts. Approach these in the same way as normal roundabouts. All vehicles MUST pass round the central markings except large vehicles which are physically incapable of doing so. Remember, there is less space to manoeuvre and less time to signal. Avoid making U-turns at mini-roundabouts. Beware of others doing this."
The Highway code also says don't pull over on the right hand side of the road but it's one of the manoeuvres on the test. There are a lot of mini roundabouts were it would be impractical to go all the way around. People have failed in some cases for that where there wasn't much space and they ended up encroaching into the other vehicle's path. Hope that helps.

ISNT HE TRYING TO TEST YOU IF YOU WOULD DO THAT AUTOMATICALLY AND FROM THIS VIDEO IT SEEMS LIKE YOU CAN HEAR THE EXAMINERS INSTRUCTIONS. BUT IF ANY EXAMINER SAID STOP 1 CAR LENGTH BEHIND THE CAR ON THE LEFT HE NEEDS TO BE SACKED AND YOU BROTHER TEST NEEDS RESCINDED NO EXAMINER SHOULD TELL YOU HOW TO DRIVE IT WHAT HES THERE FOR
Not sure where you get your information from but stopping 1 car length away is a part of the test. It’s called an angled start, designed to test how well the learner can move away from behind a parked vehicle. With regards to the the audio, I’m not sure what you’re hearing but the mic is always off.

Oh that’s a shame. The barrier by the bays really sticks out and if you’re not careful, you can bump into it.

I heard if its a a light tap the examiner can let you off but I really think it depends on who you get

I didn't say it wasn't part of the test what's not allowed is the examiner advising the subject how to drive
Bro some examiners fail for going over the roundabout I don’t know why some guy said they failed him for that
If you go over on the wrong side completely then they will fail you. Also it depends what type of roundabout.
