yeah, I didn't realize until recently watching a video of boards being thrown back into people's stomachs and doing serious permenant damage. That shook me, because I had being doing a lot of those careless maneuvers without realizing at all that I was in such danger.
🤔A Kept Beekeeper, 😏I think I need to find a sugar mama.😂 It's that time of year, better get ready for the bee season. It's on the Way. Thanks for sharing Ashby, Blessed Days...
Just a thought sir.... I dado my hand holds AFTER I put the boxes together, it allows me to hold the long ends of the box as I lower them down on the blade. I also use a stop block clamped to the fence as @sawmillcharliesbeefarm suggested. Good Work #keepgrinding
Do you have any problems with the cracks in the lids, only asking cause i have been making a few the same way and i know they going to shrink a little bit, I was hoping the bees would just propolzize the crack.
So I’m wanting to get into building my own boxes and am wondering as far as machines, what do I need? Like just a table saw with different blades or do I need more than that?
Living my dream keep it up man !
You’ll get there! Keep your sights on the target!
Ashby I would put a wooden block as a stop so that board doesn't kick off of that table saw

I used to use one but haven’t had a need since going without it.

I used to do it that way, but this is faster. Less work for my shoulders

It makes smaller clusters. They also use less stores. Sometimes they close them up and sometimes not
