    Thank you so much. The official video of the product wasn't helpful - but yours is just great.

    Thank you so much for the tutorial. At first I followed the 1 min official tutorial and was doing it really bad. Thanks to this video I learned very useful tips on how to use this cuddle band correctly and now I am much more comfortable and the baby is in a better position 😍

      @@TheBabywearingAcademy Yes, now I take my little one out on daily walks. What is the max time you recommend baby stays in this?

    We washed my sling to use with baby 2, and now I dont know how to feed it back through the rings! Is there another video to show that?

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @AquaDarkReject Try this video. It shows a different sling, but it works in the same way -

    Thank you so much, way better then the official version. Can you please explain how to adjust the rings when the baby is in the carrier ? And do you have any tips what to do when the lower back hurts?😅❤

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The only adjustment you should need to do when baby is in the carrier is to tighten if needed. You do that by holding the “tails” of the sling & pulling straight forward. If your back hurts and your baby is under 3m old, it’s likely that your carrier needs to be tightened. If baby sits too low, the weight will pull down and away from you and hurt your back. If your baby is over 3m old, you may wish to look for a more supportive sling. Hope that helps.

      Ah - the joys of ADHD! 🤦‍♀️ Sorry! Try this video - it shows the Caboo, but has the same style rings. th-cam.com/video/m51J2C4rhTU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rQdVIPXE7ICOl2n0

    very helpful video! thank you !!! can this technique be used from birth? in the instruction manual from Koala they show 2 techniques (one seperate for the first days after birth)

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can choose either method from their instructions. In my experience this tends to be the one that parents prefer as the fabric crosses between the babies legs. Either position is fine - just allow the baby to adopt their natural seated position rather than forcing the knees together or apart.

    Really helpful thank you. I'm using this for my 2 week old. Is it safe to keep their legs up in scrunch position in carrier? I assume you don't have legs as per video until they unscrunch? Thanks!

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, you can allow them to stay scrunched up, but just pop the fabric into the back of their knees. You don’t want their body weight to be resting on their feet, so popping the fabric into the backs of their knees allows them to stay scrunched, but keeps the weight off their feet.

    Loved how helpful this video is! Would this carrier also be easy to breastfeed in?!

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can be. Have a look at my “feeding in a Caboo” video. The principles are the same. 👍🏼

    The back cross went higher on your back but you said its supposed to be lower i noticed it hurts my upper back

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It does sometimes ride up. If your upper back is hurting, make sure it’s tight enough, which stops your baby’s weight pulling away from you. 👍🏼

    Good video but still feeling like this may be too complicated for me. Hoping to get it because this is the only carrier I've seen that will work for my 5lb little one

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I promise you it’s not complicated! If you don’t have a local sling library/babywearing consultant that can help, then have a look to see if you can find one that offers online consultations. They can help talk you through it. If youre still feeling like it’s a bit too much, the Hatchling Carrier from DracoMom will also work for a 5lb baby. Hope that helps. 🙂

    • @yellowbeachgirl
      @yellowbeachgirl วันที่ผ่านมา

      @TheBabywearingAcademy thank you! I see it says 3.2kg though or 7 lbs on that carrier?

    • @TheBabywearingAcademy
      @TheBabywearingAcademy  วันที่ผ่านมา

      @yellowbeachgirl The weight limits are not about the fit of a sling/carrier. All that the “7-35lb” label means on a sling/carrier is that it was loaded on to a machine & force was applied at 7lbs & 35lbs. If it didn’t tear/break it’s considered to have passed. If a carrier company wants to have their product tested for less than 7lbs of force, or more than 35lbs, they have to pay more - so, generally, they don’t.
      The Hatchling will fit from around 5lbs until approximately 6-9m of age. The Izmi Baby Carrier generally fits from about 6lbs, so that’s another one to look out for. 👍🏼 Hope that helps. 🙂

    • @yellowbeachgirl
      @yellowbeachgirl วันที่ผ่านมา

      @TheBabywearingAcademy just because it will fit does it mean it's safe? Will it be Dr. Recommended/approved or not until she weighs more?

      If your baby is below 3kgs, or if you are unsure that they are safe, please get in touch with your local Sling Library or Babywearing Consultant for one-to-one help.
