to find the rate of an electronic switch like this, usually the current in Ampere is important then the voltage. I assume the voltage is low and the current for 1100 lumen is very low. this device can handle 15A and if voltage is 12V, then it would be like 180W and I am sure your 1100 lumens less than 50W. no you can't . on the high side, the Gate voltage needs be higher the source pin. when you have load of 12V on the source, then gate needs 12V+GSv, if GSv=5V, then you need 12V+5V=17V. for that reason you need gate driver chip which will take care of this for you.

Can I use two of those to control motor in Forward and reverse.
No. If you don’t need to control the speed then relay could be used. Search my channel I have video on that.
Sir i have to use this for 4 solenoids interface with arduino but this solenoids are operate one by one so I have to use solid state relay to fast switching operation so have to use this solid state relay so how many times this will be a off ,on in 1minute or 1
second
yes you can use two of this to connect.
The trigger, how much voltage can it receive?
Do you have the answer already?
Hi Mr. Shamshiri,
I want to use this module to control the speed of DC Pump 12V with the current 5A. I know from your video demo, that the module should be ok and can handle it. But I want to know further, if I use it for continuous current (5A) in SIX HOURS of an operational pump (without stopping), will the module still work well? I mean what about its temperature? Or can you give another recommended module for that purpose? Your suggestion would be helpful. Thank you.
salam alaikum, of coruse it can . 40A is continouse current at 100C and and 50A at 25C don't every trust free talk. Look at datasheet www.aosmd.com/sites/default/files/res/datasheets/AOI4184.pdf
@@robojax Wa'alaikumsalam. Thank you for your response. I'll go to try this module. One more question Sir, if you may. What size of the diode used in this video demo? 10A?
Yes 10A.
@@robojax Thank you Sir. May Allah Azza Wa Jalla bless you always.
Is it okay if I add external diode between Vout+ and Vin+ in this module? Thanks
yes you can.
@@robojax Thanks for the reply and helpful. I just started learning some arduino stuffs. I am sorry for typing mistake, what I meant was external diode between Vout+ and Vout-, not between Vout+ and Vin+.
You can edit comment at any time. just click on the 3 dots. between output pins that goes to the mosfet.
May I ask you a novice question, Sir? Is is alright to connect the (-) pole V- to the (-) of the load (out) such as motorcycle headlight? I'm going to use it in the motorcycle and all negative pole is connected. Thank you..
I had to watch the video to answer your question as it seems you've skipped the video. please watch from 8:45 (click on this 8:45) and you should know. your motor cycle light is a load. just see how to connect a load.
Hello. Very good explanation! Good job sir! One question.
You mentioned in your video that, if we have four of them we cloud control the direction of DC motor. But how to achieve that? As far as I check the VIN(in, out) is not controlled by MOSFETs only ground line is. So how to using four circuits like this address the direction of motor? Thanks in advance!
Hello and welcome. that is called full bridge. please watch this video to learn about it. th-cam.com/video/PUL5DZ9TA2o/w-d-xo.html
@@robojax Thank you. Two more questions. First one about this module. Is it safe to put + (hot) wire to negative pole? To control + rather than ground connection? Is it safe for Source and Drain?
Second one: I'm familiar with H-Bridge concept but in this solution we must use two "P" and two "N" MOSFETs. Here we have only one type of mosfet. How to achieve H-bridge using four of this?
Looking at a constant current. For. Solar battery to feed inverter
Isn't a resistor necessary at the signal pin?
No
This is so cool. I really need a help here. I want to change the polarity as well. Using a 12V-3A motor. Is there an h-bridge module of the same mosfet or should we make it by our self ? Or can you recommend another single channel h-bridge motor driver which is not very expensive. Thank you.. Cheers.
You are welcome. The mosfet have been used in chip to control motor but with 1A or 2A. There is L298N that can handle up to 4A www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Robotics/L298_H_Bridge.pdf and module is sold on eBay or AliExpress and Amazon.
Your videos are very informative. I watched your video on the E-switch. Does this module have an optocoupler like the E-switch?
Thank you Mike. I am glad you found them useful. No it doesn't have optocoupler.
Will the Mosfet be fully turned on when the trigger signal is only 3.3v?
I believe I have provided the datasheet in resources page. Look at it there should be table and graph.
sir can i use this module as simple ON and OFF control for 12v , 12.3amp dc fan heater?...
Yes you can.
Hi good explanation. I wonder if this device works really also at 3.3 V Vgs as they say .
Hi, Thanks. I have not tested it but it should work.
Hi Robojax ..Tell me if I am wrong but does 2 mosfets mean that this board has bidirectional control. if not why is there 2 mosfets? … also is there a circuit diagram for this board
Hi, perhaps you skipped the video. I just watched the video and I have explained it. I can't type everything there. Watch the video fully and you will get the answer.
Can you connect more MOSFETs in parallel in order to get more current?
yes you can. If you use heatsink as I mentioned (I believe I mentioned ) you will have 2 or 3 times current than without heatsink.
can it run at 12V 1.5A constantly without a heat sink?
I can run a 24V 2A motor without a heat sink.
Hello I want to see a circuit of this Mosfet trigger switch drive
Please if u have it show me
It’s very important for our project
We r making the electronic device with pwm input signals and we need a higher power of this signals that’s why pwm amplifier needed
Thanks appreciate it
Hello, please contact me via robojax.com contact page and provide your email in the body of your text. I will contact you and collect the details then I will tell you the cost, write the code, make demo video and you pay only if you are satisfied with the demonstration video.
nice. Do you need an arduino or can you just use apply a DC voltage from a battery to trigger the switch?
Yo switch you just need supply at input. But if you want to control the speed u need arduino. Must watch got all answers.
Can it be used for an upstream car converter to run from a cassette recorder remote 12 volt out
I believe the test I presented show give you the answer.
@@robojax Pioneer remote control 12 volt make a circuit and put the module in the car and start the module up conwertor 12-14,2volt 15 amper to 24 volt 7Amper max amper. I think it will be thanks a lot for the video.
the reason I said that , I don't remember what happened in the video and in order to answer your question, I would have to watch the video and answer. So I suggested that you watch it. You can come to conclusion by looking at Maximum Current I have tested.
If I use 10S Li-ion battery power supply (36v), which when fully charged ranged mostly at 42v,
will it blow the mosfets?
This was great channel btw, just subscribed!
Thanks. I've shown the datasheet and I just checked it. 40V is the "Absolute maximum" meaning it blow anything above 40V. However you can replaced the mosfets with IRFZ44N. See datasheet for IRFZ44n here www.vishay.com/docs/91291/91291.pdf
@@robojax cool, thanks for the advice, appreciate that. 🙏🏻
Does this module can be use for solar light led light 1100 lumens?
to find the rate of an electronic switch like this, usually the current in Ampere is important then the voltage. I assume the voltage is low and the current for 1100 lumen is very low. this device can handle 15A and if voltage is 12V, then it would be like 180W and I am sure your 1100 lumens less than 50W. Check the information and if the current is less than 15A you can use it.
Can i use this to drive a Line output transformer?
this can feed DC current to a device with the current I tested. so it is up to you.
Can I also use this module for LED drivers, I have led strip 12 v 15A, my power supply is 12V, 20 A, I want to dim the LED strip
yes you can. LED strip and motor can be controlled the same way. Can you please post a new comment and tell me what kind of LED strip you have that needs such power? I don't understand why even people need to use LED strips. I have one at home in our kitchen which needs only 2A or 3A. I want to know and make video on that. Thanks.
@@robojax I am using to drive LED strip as well. My LED strip uses 12vdc at 2.6W per foot. I have 16 feet in one cabinet. If I open all 3 cabinets I have a little over 10A.
this mosfet good for 12v or 24v inverter??
small cute and good for high amp
I believe I mentioned the voltage in the video. I don't remember.
It is possible to change the direction of rotation of the motor?

You can but efficiency will be reduced
Sir, i wanna ask. I use the same mosfet and arduino uno. I'm trying to dim my lamp using the mosfet and LDR. The problem is only the mosfet get dimmed not the lamp. The lamp is still on while the mosfet got turned off. Am i doing it wrong? Thank you
What kind of lamp is it? You can use only DC bulb or DC LED light. Not AC household bulbs.
If the mosfet turn OFF, your light should turn OFF. So you are doing something wrong.
@@robojax oh i see. Yes i am using an AC lamp. I'm still kinda new on this stuff and is doing a project about adaptive lamp. Thank you for your help!

Current 2A
Voltage: 12V DC
Initial suction: 20 (N)
Working voltage: 24V
I have provided the link to the data sheet. Check that
how to use it for rotating motor reverse
if you want only CW or CCW direction just change the wire connection. but if you want to revers the direction of rotation, this module is not for that.
Can we use this MOSFET as HIGH SIDE switch ?? Please reply
no you can't . on the high side, the Gate voltage needs be higher the source pin. when you have load of 12V on the source, then gate needs 12V+GSv, if GSv=5V, then you need 12V+5V=17V. for that reason you need gate driver chip which will take care of this for you.
pwm 50% duty cycle on me doesn't give me 50% of voltage input.. how could that be?
May be you have waring understanding of PWM. It is not redesign voltage at all. Voltage must stay constant.
@@robojax Okay your statement i totally correct. I forgot to mention that I add capacitor at the output an alas the voltage doesn't give me 50% of voltage input
