Nice, a video covering a problem I don't know how to fix. I was resigning myself, to just buying her a tutu, and teaching her the 'NutCracker' a dance that she's already started to master.
Can use all the help we can get got a boarder collie newfoundland Austin Shepard blue heeler mix hes 100 pounds almost a year old and he good but the jumping no matter what he won't quit it
the "eh eh" is in my opinion way more efficient than the keys or pennys in a can: you ALWAYS have your voice with you, but not always the can or keys...
Just watched your video and I am hoping it helps with my border collie. He's a great dog, 4 months old very well trained with everything except the jumping. this is becoming a real issue and I'm hoping we can solve it now after watching this video thanks so much for putting this on I will let you know how we make out
As far as the desired outcome, what do we do? Congratulate him for not jumping? Is that it? I have a border collie, black lab mix. Looks like a border collie but with the heavy body of a lab. Have to stop this jumping! He knocks me back several feet always when he’s happy when I get home. Just when he is super excited!
I'm just about to pick up my own bc(first dog at that) and have been really nervous about training it since I have only trained rams before. These videos have helped me lots with gaining more confident in my ability.
@@elisabetheriksson2712 it's a working line. I would love to share their pictures here but it is not possible:( I'll put all pictures in my Instagram and Facebook account. We'll challenge every day in Scotland and explore the nature as much as I ca do. I do overtime due to Covid because I work in NHS Scotland. But I believe it will end soon:) They are DNA clear, microchipped, vaccinated, and have a pedigree.
@@travellerseko it's great that papers and everything is in order, didn't get that with mine but I was too fast when buying him (trying for four years made me depressed about the silence). What's your instagram? I would love to follow your journey
I've got a 10 month Border collie puppy who keeps jumping up people he sees on our walk, I find it difficult as some of the people love him that they make a fuss making it difficult to get him to walk, would like some advice on how to resolve this issue please
What kind of leash was it you suggested?
