For those that are lucky to be in America, few things to consider for early retirement and setting up your life. You have to be disciplined, don’t buy things you can’t afford ( act your wage), your job/career is your wealth building tool, secure a great job, max out your 401k, invest in mutual funds or ETF, HSA, Roth, get a multi-family home and have tenants pay your rent/mortgage , buy another rental if you can and if you do open up LLC, and keep working towards wealth. Avoid consumer debt, and after 10 years of consistency, you become a millionaire easily and can retire early if you want too. I understand this might be unrealistic for some however, we have to plan our lives the way we want them to be. Ok about the price point,, 1 dollar is 3700 Ugandan shillings .. that’s the answer . Easy .. so the house in Uganda for 3700 Ugandan shillings it will be 1 dollars in the US
The value is determined by the system ,, if a seller says I sell my house to you at 50m the bank will say let’s appraise your house to find out if it really matches the price ..
@@SMART-rn9ey Just for your information, you can get an appraisal on your property at anytime, it doesn’t have to be a bank requesting for the appraisal.
Did she just say living in Uganda is more expensive than living in the US? unbelievable!! You spend a million every day because your living the life of a MUSAMA. Big hotels, good restaurants, big cars (probably rentals), fancy trips and kudugaza meeza in bars. We the wanaichi can survive on 10k a day ( not even 10dollars) Ive seen celebrities in USA who spend 300k dollars a month living lavishly but is that how all normal people spend? mutulekemu namwe!

@@wealthandwellnesswithGrace your entitled to your opinion nobody has refuted but that doesn't make it right. In the video you could have broken down what spending a million entails. You don’t have to agree with my opinions and dispute everything that I stated in the interview. Times change and things change from time to time however, If I mentioned something that wasn’t accurate, I am human and I spoke from my own experience that’s why I referred to examples. You can’t dispute someone’s experiences because you haven’t walked their walk or lived their experience. And you don’t have the knowledge of everything that happens everywhere in the U.S., so please, calm down and become open minded to hear other people’s opinions and perspectives. Or better yet, have your own interview and share your own opinions.
Bambi don’t give wrong information. S.4 in Uganda equivalent to the final year of Junior High School, or 10th grade. From here, student go to Advanced Level (A-Level), formerly known as High School or just “Higher” locally. That is Senior 5 and Senior 6 (S.5 and S.6) which is equivalent to grade 11 and grade 12. So from Uganda senior 4 you can’t go to a 4 year college unless if she went to a technical school.
@@SMART-rn9ey that might be your experience, for mine, I didn’t need the S. 5 and S. 6 results and I’ve seen others who did the same. And that’s why I emphasized that people need to research the school they’re interested in and find out their requirements because they might differ.

Yes but it’s good to be private.
I understand and thanks for your suggestion Sherry. One thing I would like to mention is that we’re all different and on different journeys. I probably wasn’t comfortable sharing so much about myself and my journey 5 years ago. It was a process and I don’t take it lightly. I don’t share my stories for clout or to gain bragging rights. I share my stories to inspire someone who might be dealing with a similar situation that I might have dealt with in the past to encourage them that they too can overcome. Our community is suffering and not progressing because we’re not open to sharing and assisting each other grow. That’s why I started my public speaking journey, I aspire to share as many lessons as I can such that others don’t have to deal with the same mistakes. Thanks again for watching and sharing your opinion.
Properties in Uganda, have no values one they seat on precarious land, ie stolen mailo land, no infrastructure, no service and utilities. Clearly there is no return on investment per se.
It’s unfortunate and sad to hear that.

Kakati, what should people invest in, in Uganda? I was thinking rentals is a good idea

I know, I worry about our people back home. Inflation is out of control.

@faithful4475 it's 3.30 per gallon and up cents in up state newyork

Ok about the price point,, 1 dollar is 3700 Ugandan shillings .. that’s the answer . Easy .. so the house in Uganda for 3700 Ugandan shillings it will be 1 dollars in the US
@@SMART-rn9ey we were guessing with rough estimates on those calculations, it’s hard to pause in an interview to complete a calculation.
The value is determined by the system ,, if a seller says I sell my house to you at 50m the bank will say let’s appraise your house to find out if it really matches the price ..
@@SMART-rn9ey Did you have a question?
@@SMART-rn9ey Just for your information, you can get an appraisal on your property at anytime, it doesn’t have to be a bank requesting for the appraisal.
Museveni thought that he can make baganda poor ,he was wrong my people the are intelligencnt wherever they went we the baganda people we succeeds
Same in the Uk students are given 20hrs but ofcource u have to do more… so I get her..

They just enjoy being on camera 🎥, but they are things they say and you’re what is she talking about. How can she say Uganda is more expensive than USA
Thanks for sharing however, that’s my opinion and we can agree to disagree.
@@wealthandwellnesswithGraceYour right Grace, that's ur opinion dear, and ur entitled to it.
@@wealthandwellnesswithGrace your entitled to your opinion nobody has refuted but that doesn't make it right. In the video you could have broken down what spending a million entails. But I need to remind you that you spend this because your on vacation not day to day life. even if you went on vacation to any other country you would still spend a bit more than usual.
@@wealthandwellnesswithGrace 100% I was in UG in May through June this year, it is expensive!!! I spend more in UG than here. I wonder where Ugandans get money from.

@@SMART-rn9ey thanks for sharing your opinions however, I too shared mine according to my experience and expertise.

She is right, my cousin came I s3 last year she graduated from high school this year, ela agenda mu college this same year
