Yes please do more of these. Can I even buy Farrow and Ball in the US? Why so much Gray. Ugh! How about purples, brown s, peach. Something different. Thanks James.😊
Yes, you can buy it in the US. Theyvare located in CA and can purchase from them. However, you can take the color to any company that matches paint colors and get it matched. Just bring the color chip in.
My favorite whites are Farrow and Ball Pointing and Whimborn White. Whites are SO HARD!!!! Can you PLEASE do a white comparison, which you may have already done. Thanks so much Dawn
Yes! Love the F&B Matches. Would like your take on Ammonite, James White, Off White, Old White, Shaded White, School House White, Shadow White, Slipper Satin, Wevet & Wimborne White. Thank you!
Chiming in as a pro with decades long experience. Yes. F&B have an excellent color-deck. (My favorite is the BM Williamsburg chart, as an aside). BM and SW (and Behr and Valspar, for that matter) already have very matches some number of F&B colors. Also at a well equipped and experienced paint supply shop you will find with the assistance of a spectrometer you can bring in pretty much any chip from any color deck and get a good color match.
I would like to see an short episode on stiffkey , fb blue please. Eg colour matching and comparable brands with similar colour . Thanks so much love your videos ❤
Yes, I love when you do these color matches! And I really do love darker colors and like optical illusion type things like something that would give depth
Very excited to find this TH-cam channel. I painted a bedroom using F&B Lulworth Blue for the wall and All White for trim, and am satisfied with the result. I am interested in comparable colors to India Yellow for a small secondary entrance room along with a complementary color to paint the built-in cabinets with a ghastly stain job. I haven't looked at your complete video list, though I plan to do so, but I am interested in both interior and exterior A&C colors. My great room has dark wainscoting that swallows light, and I need to brighten up the plastered wall above it to make the space more liveable.
I'm with Coastal Diva--love love love Hague Blue! And with Kimberly Lane--love Stiffkey Blue! And the counterparts. Love Inchyra Blue, too! I guess I like blues...
These are very interesting, but it would be better if we could see the chips side by side. The colors aren’t portrayed as clearly in rooms with different amounts of light and shade. Also, how about a color match for Jindal?
I have always used Sherwin williams paint because it covers so well. I'm getting quotes on some interior repairs and painting. Two of the contractors recommend Behr as a less ex5but equal quality paint. Would love to see videos on performance of different brands and selections within brands.
I don't see Cornforth White as so gray as you see it. John Cornforth was trying to explain the color John Fowler would mix for cornices especially when he was doing National Trust houses. This is how F&B got to it, bc they used to work with the Trust. He was going for a shade that was a white that had been there a while and absorbed the cigarette smoke and fireplaces from hundreds of years of use. The idea was to look aged (similar to Shaded White), not like a house that had just been painted, even though the Trust often had to do a lot of work to houses that hadn't had much done to them since before the War. I would nominate French Canvas or Natural Elements, even though they both lean a little more green, to get the same sort of effect.
@@psin0373 its almost identical. There is a website i use called Hex to Ral and if you see the two colors side-by -side its so very close...looks the same to me.
@@psin0373 I can look in daylight. I think it’s a little deeper than Wish though off the top of my head but it totally depends on the light in the room. Don’t check during the eclipse 😂.
Love this type of video but don’t forget behr. Many people love and use behr for interior

Yes! I enjoyed reading your comment.
Does F&B Cornforth White resemble Ben Moore WISH?

Since F&B is not available in the US, please match up more of your favorites.
