Beautiful pigeons. I have bird feeders in my garden for the local birds. From around early spring I now get around 14 racing pigeons coming to my garden. They are beautiful birds but I am slightly concerned that they may be lost. They sometimes spend a lot of the day, either on my roof or a neighbour. The magpies try to chase them away but they always come back. One pigeon looks like it has a tuxedo on. It’s stunning. I am concerned if they don’t get kept in for winter. Is it not around the time to keep them inside? I haven’t been able to check under the wings. They are very cautious and we would struggle to catch one. The slightest movement makes them all fly up on to the roof.
