Aim can take you pretty far, probably ascendant, but understanding all of the agents and the utility usage and counter-utility, stalling pushes, countering ults, overall game sense and map awareness etc. etc. is the knowledge that's needed to become a great player, not just a good player.

The real secret is to 5 man. No matter how good you are, solo queuing will get you hard stuck because you're gambling on the fact that your teammates can shoot back.
10:22, I totally agree with this. Do people think just because the game has abilities It's important who you play?( pro teams, sure, exception) It's not something like League of Legends. This is a FPS game, you need to know how to move and shoot, everything else is secondary.
There's definitely characters more compatible for climbing solo, however if you're bad it won't make a difference. E.g if you're a good player and your playing sage , it's definitely harder to make plays than it is with jett/reyna to really try solo carry a team, nonetheless, if you can't click a head, it doesn't matter anyways. Also it's still important to maintain a team comp so if your entire team locks in and you don't have a smoker, you should be able to fill that role otherwise your chances of victory are far less assured without a smoker/duelist in a team.
Its a habit to make the death hurt less, it was the enemies good job instead of your mistake. That's how I see it anyways. Edit: NVM it was actually a nice shot. 5:02
