- ⭐ In this series I'm trying to reach Immortal by only playing Omen while giving you a lot of PRO Tips, Tricks and Strategies for Ranked SoloQ. The goal is to have the absolutely highest win rate while teaching you some high elo knowledge that you can abuse to rank up faster. I plan to do this type of series with every agent, starting with Jett and Omen. Consider this series like an in-depth agents guide that you won't find anywhere else. Also, during this series I'm making the agent playbook with the best Omen executes, strategies and tactics for every map. You can access this playbook and all of the in-depth guides on my discord server. after losing pistol round, I did your classic shorty trick on B defense Ascent, and got 2 as a Brimstone. It has to be one of the most exhilarating feeling knowing I just finessed a spectre and ares or something out of their hands. 154 one shot each for a nice 2 kills. The play ended up winning us the round. It was the first time it worked and it was a nice way to start the act/season off lol
Shorty is the easiest weapon to win these eco rounds! ^^

So this is why i always lose the spike + ult clutch 90% of the time with my 100hr omen. I tend to play post plant and watch the spike instead of going aggressive.
Once again, im very thankful for that tip, that opened my eyes for my future games.

P.S: your Split A fast execute into heaven with shorty is the most tilting play I have ever used so ty for that

I have a question regarding the Lotus C-execute:
I always have the feeling it is very benefitial to gain control of hall for postplant. What is your opinion on that and do you recommend placing the hall smoke deeper to enable that or do you consider it more important to smoke off the initial two-height angle (the smoke you place in the video) to gain site control first?
I'd always use my default smokes in a way that is showcased in the video, because if you DON'T smoke the hall entrance only God knows if your teammates are going to die from that two-height angle or not - it's better to provide them the cover there, instead of risking it! ^^
When it comes to pushing the halls and taking space, that is based on previous rounds experience, economy, what your teammates are doing, where the spike is planted, how we want to play the post-plant and on enemies' available ultimate abilities. For an example, if my teammates are doing some kind of an aggressive play in halls, I'll definitely try to support them and take the space with them, or if I know that based on previous rounds our post-plants are not that good on C site, I'll be more aggressive and try to surprise enemies from some angles in halls where they won't expect me. It really depends on a specific scenario...
please do some one way smoke guides for attacking and defending in Lotus and pearl. i really don't understand those maps.

nice video, altho I wish you'd also mention some of the counters to agents and executes that can be encountered.
such as for example stacking three people on top of the spike, so omen's ult will get pushed aside and he can not fetch it.
or a good breach knowing how to counter stun or counter flash your execute smokes/tps, etc.
adds more depth to those videos and additional perspective of what to potentially expect on higher ranks and be prepared for

I still do it, but I either buy Classic, Light, Shorty and 1 Shrouded Step or Classic, Shorty, Paranoia, 1 Smoke and 1 Shrouded Step! ^^

Sometimes when you ult for taking spike and play post plant clutch, I instead stay mid-distance of the known 2 last ennemies that were camping spike and wisely wait for a double peek or a simple one , surprise effect + fasten the game :x is that a bad idea ? oftenly works :o
These plays really depend on overall scenario in that game...
just wanted to ask that when and at which time u should use different smokes setups for executes with your team and for urself on various different scenarios

As an immo 3 player, i prefer very much brimstone than omen, simply because i can secure many rounds with util and have a huge double pick potential in defence with steam beacon!
how can you use omen ult in other ways than picking up the spike ?
You can also use it to pick up guns.
His ult has a very high level of skill expresssion. The whole kit lends to a very easy to learn, difficult to master/calculated gamble playstyle. It can also dodge KJ ult (and other agent util when timed carefully.)
When executing this play, begin by channeling your tp when Lockdown has approximately ~1.5 second remaining. You will have 4 seconds from then to choose whether or not to cancel your ult or follow through. 1.5 seconds are windup, but the other 2.5 seconds you are in a dissaparated/shade state. Upon ult cancellation, Omen reappears instantaneously. Minor downside, he does also trigger a faint, low-range audio cue, and is does not immediately have his weapon drawn.
IMPORTANT: Don't TP to a spot where the enemy may shoot your shade, or get Kayo knife your body (during your 1.5s windup), or self-cancel the cast prior the intended moment. If the shade info is truly required, make it a very inconspicuous target. You really don't want to get caught in the trap, waste ult, die, and lose the round because of this detail, but that's just a gamble we have to take sometimes. Optionally, placing smokes tactically around where you intend to tp or on your original location and then ult'ing can exert unbelievable amounts of mental pressure that can and often will cause an enemy to make varying degrees of mistakes.

As an Omen player on defence should I smoke only holding side ? Or both of them ? Bcs it can't reach whether i don't stand between 2 sides.

Asking bcs smokes can't reach that far. i need to stand between 2 sites if I will smoke both.
That's why predicting the enemies next move and doing smart rotations is very important my friend! You shouldn't play 1 site 24/7 or play in the middle of some map so that you can smoke everything. You're positioning yourself to counter enemies and control the outcome of your rounds. And you're smoking what you can smoke at that moment of time! ^^

With the classic shorty technique, what do i do when the enemies use recon abilities like a boombot or sova dart? I can’t always dodge them.
We use a cubby-position smoke to dodge their utility, and if you're skilled enough you can do it 95% of time! ^^

how do you dodge boombots and skye dogs while doing the cubby smokes with shorty?
Every piece of utility in Valorant has a "line of sight", same as the players do. When you're crossing through smokes, there is a 0.5s - 1.0s window of time where you don't see anything inside or outside of the smoke. You want to use that time to dodge enemies or their utility! ^^
Simply moving outside of the smoke as some utility is passing through, and getting back into the smoke as that utility is going out on the edge of it...
Uhhh can we get an episode after the shorty nerf with your opinions and stuff about it
Same as before (still broken), the only difference now is that for the first round strategy I'll only be buying 1 shrouded step and ligh shield with shorty, without the 2nd smoke! ^^

On a fresh new account your performance in unrated games dictates your starting MMR in ranked! If you perform well in those 20 levels, you'll be placed higher after your ranked placement games. Other content creators usually buy their accounts with very low MMR, so they smurf in elo below Diamond for quite a lot of time. My accounts are handmade by my editor (he's Immortal player), and that's why I only play around 10 games in elo below Ascendant. After 10 games on these accounts I'm already playing against Ascendant and Immortal players! ^^

Its a good guide, but maybe drop the ego when you're playing with people several ranks lower than you. You really can't hate on your teammates if you chose to smurf.
I'm giving a commentary on my "teammates" just to showcase how much you actually need to be focused in order to truly carry the ranked games, and that in a game of Valorant you NEED to focus on what you are doing, what enemies are doing, but also you need to heavily focus on compensating the mistakes of your allies, also another reason why I talk about my "teammates" plays is to teach you a proper decision making in as many scenarios as possible...
And at the end of the day, there are always going to be some scenarios that are simply out of your control! ^^
