アニーは、体も大きくなりネネと対等に対応できるようになりました。時々、仲良く挨拶し合うこともあります。
Nene and Annie provoke each other.
Annie grew so that his body became bigger and could cope evenly with Nene. Sometimes, Nene and Annie say hello to each other.

Kiyo to the rescue for his momma❤ He loves his sister but of course loves his momma the most of all. Kiyo is bigger now,he will try to protect mom
It looked like Annie & Nene were bonding & then Nene knocked Annie down on the rope. Annie also swatted Nene outside. Kiyomasa also was rough with Annie flinging her to the ground. I don't know, it was a strange day for the family. Thks iBosch :)

Annie still doesn't know how to interact with Nene (that's for sure and that's why her behaviour looks a little weird - it's just like with silverback in their love game), but she still wants to makes friends with her (and sometimes gets angry because doesn't know how to do it). It's really interesting and difficult relationships. And I think Nene doesn't know how feels about Annie too. I'm glad that Shabani keep an eye on them.

Some strange behaviour, both aggressive and submissive from Annie. Kiyomasa looking out for Nene, and Shabani turning up to keep an eye on what's going on.
I'm still thinking about it, and what it all means. Hard to translate from gorilla to human. Annie and Nene have a difficult relationship that's for sure.
Yes, the switch up between submission and aggression in my opinion is, the submission, I want what Kiyo has...nurture me. The aggression is to show she is not afraid. Again, just an opinion! I feel for both lovely ladies xo
I think that Annie is trying lots of ways to gain acceptance from Nene, if kind submissive behaviour does not work then she is trying more aggressive behaviour. If Nene would just accept Annie then I'm sure they would be good companions to each other. Also it would make life easier for Shabani, he is always on guard duty to protect Annie. It is natural for Kiyo to protect his mother but he has a wonderful bond with Annie, I do not think he wants to hurt Annie.I find it strange that Ai never protects Annie. I wonder what the relationship was like with Nene and Ai when she was a baby, was Nene a good mother to her. Nene has been the best mother to Kiyo. Are Ai and Kiyo Nene's only children? Annie just wanted some female attention, as you said either submissive or aggressive. Now a whole year later and it seems like she still isn't getting it. Hopefully she doesn't behave with her offspring the way AI has with her.
I think it’s pretty sad to watch Annie trying to get Nene’s attention and being rejected.
There’s no bond between them, the same way there’s no bond between Annie and Ai.
I wonder what will happen to Annie (and how she will feel and behave) once she’s moved to another family.
I wish they would just get along,Annie just want to be accepted by Nene...like many have said in the comments.
In the recent videos,looks like they settled down and respect each other more.

Quando assisti o vídeo na primeira vez eu entendi a relação de Nene e Annie como de ódio, provocações. Hoje revendo mudei totalmente o meu olhar sobre as duas. Na verdade elas se amam só não sabem como se relacionar. Talvez nem dê tempo de construir uma relação já que parece que o destino dos integrantes da tropa é a separação. Talvez a Annie é Nene quando jovem. Interessante observar que a grande mãe Nene as vezes tentar interagir com as crianças, mais a idade já não ajuda muito. Shabani genial, sempre de olho no movimento do grupo e o seu amor pelos filhos é incondicional.
Sem dúvidas Annie é sua filhinha desde sempre, ninguém pode toca-la . Kyo é um menino tão lindo. Ele é carinhoso com todos , é mimado mais não é rebelde.

ネネさんの場合は 他のメスは娘と孫（子供）なので また違う雰囲気のアルファメスなのかもしれませんねｗ

Annie is not troublemaking. She's looking for acceptance. Nene has never accepted her, and in the wild this group wouldn't stay together. Ai clearly wants another mate. Perhaps it's too weird for Ai, having Shabani mating with both a mother and daughter.

Ai and Shabani can be very affectionate towards each other, but I wonder if they're behaving more like brother and sister.

You can see how Nene always looks to see if Shabani is watching when Annie is near her. Nene really has no patience or desire to interact with Annie and I think the only reason why at times Nene shows a little kindness to Annie is because Shabani is near and watching her and Nene knows if she is aggressive to Annie, Shabani will charge her immediately. If not for the protection of Shabani, I think Nene would just smack her when she was near,but Shabani keeps Nene from showing her real aggression towards Annie. Nene gives Annie a push or smack when she gets a chance when Shabani isn't watching. As always, my heart breaks for the ways Annie tries to get any kind of interaction, affection and acceptance from Nene. Annie craves and no doubt would be so happy to get a small piece of the love Nene showers on Kiyomasa and I don't think Annie understands why she is so unloveable to Nene. Its sad that Nene cant seem to show affection towards anyone but her little Prince, Kiyomasa. But Annie still tries so hard to win over Nene. When Nene does give in and gives Annie a touch or allows her to approach without reacting aggressively, Annie see's that as an opportunity to maybe get more positive interactions from Nene. Sadly for Annie, those hopes are dashed to realize Nene only gives bits at a time and no doubt that is only to avoid Shabani's wrath if she acts with the negativity she really feels for Annie. Sweet Annie just wants Nene's attention, affection and play but Nene really doesn't want to be bothered at all with Annie. So sad Nene cannot love Annie a little. I think it is really a sign of what a beautiful and forgiving heart Annie has that she still craves and obviously wants interaction and acceptance from Nene who never showed Annie any kind of affection. I think one day Annie will be a very loving mommy despite her rough start and having no mommy to show her how. Annie has a soft heart like her daddy and Im so glad she always had affection and love from him and Kiyomasa. She is such a brave and strong little soul and one day I hope she has kids to love as she never was. Great video! Thank you i Bosch.
You are so right Mary, little Annie has done it tough right from the start, I used to feel so sad for her. But now she is bigger and stronger with copious amounts of energy she keeps right up there with Kiyomasa in their amazing displays of acrobatics and aerobics across the ropes. An indomitable spirit this little one don't you think? :)
@@deadsmoke198 , Yes, I agree. Annie has such a strong and resilient spirit. Despite all the negative experiences, she still gives and craves play and love. She is doing wonderful for all she has had to endure. Daddy and Kiyomasa adore little Annie and that love helped her become the strong, sweet and joyful little soul she has become. I think she will be a great mommy one day. I see how sensitive and affectionate she is and I think she will give all the love she wished she had ( and seen Kiyomasa get ) to her own baby one day. She is a beautiful little Gorilla-Girl. Inside and out. I think the more she grows the more confident and wonderful she becomes.

@@aprilrain4792 Thank you. I agree and think the love and protection of Shabani and adoring brother, Kiyomasa saved her. Never understood how Al couldn't mother Annie. Annie was such a cute and sweet baby. She needed a mommy so bad for hard times and to teach her. But, just proves how strong and beautiful her heart and spirit is to go through so much heartache but still be the brave and loving Gorilla-Girl she is today. She has such compassion for others and adores kids. I think she will be a wonderful mommy one day. She is a success and precious in every way! ;-)
Annie doesn't follow the family rules and I think that's why there is strife
At first, when Annie and Nene were by the windows, Kiyo came running by and startled them both. Annie bit Nene but I think she apologized afterwards to Nene by offering her butt for a sniff and Nene accepted the apology by giving it a good sniff. 😆 After that I read everything else in a positive light. Annie trying hard to gain Nene's attention. Nene was a bit accepting doing some more butt and face sniffing. In the end Nene was even shaking the end of the rope in play. Which had all her face shaking as well.😂 Shabani was watchful because things can go sideways between these two pretty fast, but he did not interfere. The other time that Nene swatted at Annie, Kiyo was play fighting Nene (which I have never seen him do before) and Nene did not want Annie to pile on. Which is understandable. In all the butt sniffing going on Shabani snuck a quick sniff at Ai when she was distracted with Kiyo on her back. 🤣
Gisel Simon: Sorry this reply is a year late but I saw Kiyo jump on Nene's back to play fight once and the surprised smile on her face was absolutely delightful.
Nene needs Shabani to kick her ass. Where is useless Ai to protect her child. Poor Annie doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

At the beginning of the video I believe Kiyo pushed Annie and she went after Kiyo but Nene saw Annie and went to Kiyo's defense.
Just watched it again, and you're right. Nene protecting Kiyomasa, as she always has done, but now Annie is getting older, and big enough to fight back at Nene.
Later when she presented herself I think she was being submissive trying to smooth things over.

Because Nene was very violent to Annie when she was a baby.

This situation started out in the beginning of the video with Kiyo pushing Annie and her chasing after him. Nene didn't see what Kiyo did, just that Annie was after Kiyo and Nene went to his defense. It's unfortunate that just like humans a misunderstanding can escalate to a brief fight and tension between Annie and her grandmother Nene. Annie tried several times being submissive to Nene but that didn't work. Hopefully tomorrow, things will be calmer.
