Nice upload ,started with a pack from BM, a k1 and a Henry ,every penny I made went in to upgrading equipment and chemicals . It hards work but worth it 😊 to turn round I say I did that But the biggest help and thanks is to you and and few others for all time and guidance you have given us all 😊
Get yourself on Karcher outlet for a refurbished pressure washer. I picked up a Karcher K4, AVA snow foam cannon and a 20M hose from Direct Hoses for less than £150 combined.
Having the right products makes detailing alot easier you differently need a pressure washer and a snow foam lance ,sumAPC ,good shampoo, microfibers, detail brushs, the list goes on it has taken me a while to get all my stuff but worth every penny in my eyes ❤
It's a never ending money pit, I remember that feeling when the pressure washer hose split or the van broke and that worry of having to find more money was always stressful. Feel better now youtube videos took the pressure off a bit
Arrrrr !! I noticed that there are people out there who want me back. Well..... It's bloody freezing out there for one thing and you've got so many new products I'm bound to cock it up🥴😂
Wee tip for anyone who buys one of these Hoover's which hoover up liquids and also has a blower function - check the manufacturer for an extra hose. Say you hoover up a lot of dirt/grit from your car mats, then detach same hose and connect to blower outlet to dry your car.... potentially blasting small pieces of grit and dirt all over your car 😲. Have a dedicated hose for blower function. I have a Hyundai 3 in 1 and got a spare hose for £6.
You forgot about a DA. Maybe some brushes to clean the tires or emakker brushes to get into the gas capbarea around the grill and badges? Maybe the inside of the car like vents.band other areas?
Karcher outlet, K4 less than £100. Bilt Hamber for sure. Surfex and Touchless diluted down lasts forever! EZ Gloss Boss is a cheap QD and they always have a sale on! Check the Titan vacuums, good vfm.
Hi Dave, great vid as usual. When would you suggest getting insurance? I will be doing a leaflet drop in my village with posters in the local shops in the new year. Logically I’m thinking just before the leaflet drop but if you have any advice it’s greatly appreciated. Thx 👍
As soon as you can really. I think for friends and family you can get away with it as they would be the types to understand and support you. But as soon as your out there then its a good idea to get covered asap
Also don't do leaflet drops. thats a thing of the past. Social media is the way forward. everyone is holding a phone so get yourself on instagram or facebook and look for local groups
Id go on aliexpress. Its insane, I got 50 microfibre spplicators for £3. 10 120x120 drying towels for £9, setbof 6 detailing brushes for 99p and 3 wheel brushes for £2.42 Theyre not bad. They do the job, and at that price if they do 20-30 cars you could buy them every month and its really not alot
@ I was trying to suggest with these exact products. Do you already have one with these exact products somewhere on ur page? I’ve watched a lot of ur videos anyway so I’ll find it if u have😅
I have an old K2 (from the days when I last cleaned cars myself - around 14 years ago 😲). Wee question for you Dave, I bought a 10m hose for my Karcher. If I was to buy an AVA, would the hose fit or will I need some sort of adapter?
My man! Not just going for the views but helping people, much respect buddy. 👏
Also, we've not seen Dad in a while, just saying! 😀
Wow thanks Adam that's so kind of you. Dad's coming back to the channel soon promise

great video once again mate
I water my BSD 50/50 with distilled water does a fantastic job as a drying aid.. Nice to see Sonax mentioned
2 years ago you’d have been able to buy all that equipment, spares, a van and a 3 bed house!
🤣 I know right... We're finished as a nation!!!
Cheers for takin the time to post this video
Thanks Martin

People learning the basics do not need a polisher. They should learn how to clean the car first before even considering polishing.
Once again another fantastic and informative video Dave.
Can not believe a man of your means is using a piece of torn cardboard as a mouse mat lol 😂 😂
lol, yeah the computer lives at home so when i bought it to the unit i realised it didnt work on those tiles on the table 😅

I’ve just purchased a new car and I’ve now spent nearly 3k on cleaning products and gear. I’m thinking of starting a business now.
Nice the reality of doing for it a business is very different to the fun of cleaning your own car for sure

@@tenbob1973 yes
Would be much more helpful if you had actually tried all these products, which I get the impression you have not done.
Pretty sure I have already done so with 90% of these products over the years mate
