A sports package I shot, edited, and wrote myself about world ranked rock crawler and rock racer Weston Blackie. The entire video was shot near Left Hand Canyon by Boulder, Colorado.
@sookyz hell yea! im actually working on building a f350 rock crawler/trailrig right now! 7.3 powerstroke. im pretty excited about doing my coilover suspension conversion for it this christmas break. and after owning a few diesel engines ill be hard pressed to ever own a gasoline burning car or truck again. oh yea, i almost forgot, you should check out my diesel van video.
@concretejungle80cruz nah it was a 1 man buggy with an used rebuild acura v8 engne, the roll cage was all custom, and it was mounted on chevy wheels with the beadlock conversion with like 38 baja claws and 2 steerable yota axles and a race seat and steering wheel and propane running, they gave the price for every part and it was like 5220$ no joke ill PM you the site where they build it, but it was a 1 seater buggy
i hate when people say hummers are no good when they compare them to things like this that aren't nowhere near stock. cut away and replace every mechanical thing but the hummer emblem then yeah hummers would be just as good as this.
@xXShadowRejectsXx yea right... don't forget to count all the sponsors that gave them parts for free and free labor and the free tools they have to make the truck with. $5000 is not a realistic number to build a buggy.
@TJvigilante little late but thought you might try "funny offroad toyota 4x4 race at full speed". And this thing even has liscense plates on it. that is hardcore my friend. even i have to admit that. and i rock crawl as often as i can. mostly moab.
looked like some serious axles under that thing... plus a LS1 isnt cheap and i betchya its running an atlas t-case put it together with a custom roll cage your looking at alought of dough.. this isnt a jeep though and yess i have less than 10 g into mine and its pretty capable but nothing like this 1989 comanche shortbox dana 30 arb front danda 44 arb rear 7.5 rubicon express lift on front custom SOA rear np231 t case w/slip yoke elminator and lo-max 4:1 gearset and 36 ground hawgs!
hey davidhall, you sound like yer full of it, how many diesels do you know of that arent injected??? I agree Sammies are great little rigs, once you sort out all the weak parts, what kind of diesel are you running?
when im not competing rofl. this thing would be horrible with a corvette motor and those big huge wheels. this guy is a cheap version of the real deals of these guys. look up pink at tub rock. thats a beast

theres no need to take and h2 off road its more of a show truck then anything you'd be more concerned with scratching the paint then driving it over rocks

This is my dads now you can see where Campbell cut corners on it. It is way more capable than a stock rig. All day in this thing is cramped though. For one your legs go off to the right while you sit straight and there is hardly any room in it. You should see some of the outlaw trails they do with these things in moan there is no way you could get a jeep or a truggy through any of those so you know it all's better just shut up.

sorry but i think toyotas are better, im not saying there the best, but i have a toyota land cruiser and hasnt broke once on me on the trails, last year when i went to the quin trails in calibogy ont. two jeeps broke and they were driving any harder than i was.

Lets compare apples to apples..dollar to dollar his investment cannot be justified over a stock rig....a well prepared stock rig will do 95% of what this exoskeletal rig does..and the 500 engine is just nothing more that someones EGO out of control. Get really stupid with it or any other rig in a place like Moab Utah..and you're history...big horsepower and big tires equates into a Big disaster.
OK so when are you going to ban CORR PRO, MOTO GP, F1, CHAMP, NASCAR, P1 OFFSHORE POWERBOATS, DRAG RACING ..NEED I GO ON? The rock crawling hobby is smaal fry compared to the gallons burnt elsewhere. Oh, and do you fly by jet when you go on holiday? Do you watch TV on a huge 50" plasma screen? There are plenty more things to think about regarding human environmental impact that a few petrolheads offroading..

@AntiSkate69 they are good if they are using ammonium bropaline. it prevents the tires from becoming unseated at low psis.

lol if you spend 80,000 on a buggy your spending way to much, a buggy can be built for about 20, and i built my jeep for under 7.
