Purchased our screens last week and currently using them on the coast in sunny Norfolk -2 and they are the best thing we've bought to stop the condensation. Used clothes used the window vac they don't stop condensation just clean up the mess using the Silver screen stops any condensation brilliant. Yes I'll have some issues putting them away when wet or putting them up in the wind but the fact that I've eliminated condensation is a massive positive therefore any negatives I'll put up with. Thanks for the advice also when we collected the screens we mentioned you guys to the nice lady (forget her name) said she'd been very busy these past few days 😅.
Fully agree👍🏻 Great all year, only downside is storage when wet as far as I can see, we use a large plastic box for our ground sheet with the Silver screen on top, works a treat and you just dry it out when back home

Tbh in the wet weather we don’t bother putting the silver screens up. Storing a soaking wet screen and then having to dry it is a nightmare. Karcher window vac is the way forward. Watch all the full timers on TH-cam and none of them use external screens. Just a summer thing for us for the heat reflecting properties 👍🏼
Have to disagree on that one Steve. I wouldn’t want all that water inside my van overnight, dripping into vents etc before it gets sucked up the next morning. We stand our wet screen in the shower. It soon dries out or it’s back on again before we use the shower. I agree on the heat reflecting properties though 👍🏻
@@TheSlawsAdventures agree. It’s easy to dry a SS out in the shower. Plus the Kafcher vacs we’ve had have been unreliable, short lived and a waste of money.
So glad you are happy with your Polar screens, we have just bought some for our A class Carthago! Would also agree Taylor Made are excellent, we had some for our Rapido.
TaylorMade products are the best. Seven years of constant exposure to the elements on an Adria 670, still in good condition, still no condensation + being insulated, additional warmth. You get what you pay for.
Hi Diane, you have to turn your fridge off on the ferry. It’s okay on a short crossing as nothing spoils, but on an overnight crossing you really don’t want to leave anything frozen or perishable in there.
Didn't know you had a VW van when you started out I have a silver screen and I never use it the only time I did was to stop the heat but I don't travel in winter I have a pop top too and never use that either unless its hot 🙈😂😂

We use our Taylormade silver screens all the them. Highly recommend them ☺
We’ve got their bike cover. Very good quality 👍🏻
Ours is from Taylor Made which is useful as we live nearby and picked it up ours goes over the bonnet as well
