    Great video, I am about to order a TaylorMade screen myself, it was good to see a real experience review first, especially the workshop tour, thank you.

      Lovely place great video
      I was up there 2 weeks ago I visited Bakewell,Buxton,Castleton where you can stop on the side of the road just as you come out of the town it’s free and lots of motorhomes park and stay over night know one bothers you.
      Also there is a pretty unspoiled Village called Wiston only got a post office 2 pubs barbers and that’s it ,you can park on the road just 100yds from the village.
      If you are ever near there again take 3 hrs out to check it out .There is a walk and a park behind the post office with unbelievable views, the nat trust has a building there dated 14 hundreds

    I’m going to need steps to put one on my Hymer, I’m only 5ft1 ! My message disappeared? Anyway it is a coincidence I found this video as I was looking at the Taylormade website yesterday? Thanks for the video, very helpful. I see you have other very informative videos, so I subbed and will be binge watching in France on this rainy day. Thanks again. Jo in France 🇫🇷

      You are indeed binge watching !! - many thanks Jo and for your sub - much appreciated and great to have you along for the trip(s). Taylormade are excellent and will provide an excellent service - not sure they can augment your height though - steps it is!! :))

    How do you bring your other videos over on to your new Chanel. I would love to do that as I have accidentally got 2 other Chanel’s. I’m just learning now but when we retire may be next year I would like to do like you do and help other fellow motorhomers.😊
    Just watched your spare wheel video, I would take a couple of picnic blankets with you for laying on.
    On my Swift Kontiki the tyre is in like a basket that winds down like yours.it was a bit to late for me as when I took my wheel out just to find out if I could do it, I found that it was all rusty.
    So I coated the rim with some thin oil to stop the corrosion.
    Also don’t know if you will have the same problem , but getting on and off the ferry the wheel carrier scrapes the floor and gets pushed up ,likewise if I go up a slope it scrapes the floor with the wheel carrier.
    Hopefully yours being closer to your axel you will be ok.
    But if I were you I would spray some wax oil on both sides of your rim
    Steve and sue wishing you happy holidays

      Well thanks for all that Steve & Sue 😁👍
      If you haven’t still got your YT films on your phone or computer then you can download them from YT and import them into editing software (if you wanted to rebadge them or anything) then reupload to new channel.
      Yes the spare wheel is new as is the carrier so it’s all been silicone coated and hopefully will keep in good condition if I keep an eye on it and agreed re some old material for sliding under the van!!
      With the VB semi air at the back we can lift up the back of the Motorhome for ferries etc which will hopefully help to avoid any grounding !!
      Always a job or two to do with the moho but that’s fine by me 😁😁🚌

    Interesting! I have a TailorMade screen sat in a box that’ll we’ll be using for the first time in a few weeks time. No idea how my one will fit as it’s an A class also but no metal strips provided 😮

    • @motorhomingadventures
      @motorhomingadventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      They have different templates for each van F1GH so you may not need them - if you gave them a ring with your van model and year they’d tell all re fitting!! 😁

    Hi both, how have the thermal screens been performing in the colder weather we've been having lately?

    • @motorhomingadventures
      @motorhomingadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good day to you Watts Occurring - thanks for watching again and thermal screen is really great!! - no condensation at all in the mornings with one or two frost nights both this year and last winter. Front of the van warmer and the zero condensation is the real plus

    Just getting our a class, have used Taylor made before on a fiat motorhome. Do you regret at all having the aluminium strips fitted

    • @motorhomingadventures
      @motorhomingadventures  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No not at all Edward - we just don't notice them as there's so much other similar coloured trim on the van and the cover is still really excellent 2 years on :)) (You may not need the strips for your A Class if it's a different model/make - check with the ladies at the factory for the exact requirements if not a Mobilvetta - they are great :))

    hi do you pay extra for the fitting ?

    • @motorhomingadventures
      @motorhomingadventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Many thanks for watching and I don’t think I did although it’s 3 years ago now and it’s still as good as new. Some don’t need the tracks fitted either so depends on your van model/make as well :)

    What’s the difference between these and Polar ?

      @motorhomingadventures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Jamie and thanks for watching- they are basically all the same padded construction - just different makers. We had heard a lot of good things about this one so chose to visit and buy from them - we weren’t disappointed 😁
