Sounds exactly like somebody dug around in Shel Talmy's pile of tapes and found the best unknown beat group of 1965... I'm joking there but, this is one of the best British albums of all time, and along with Lawrence of Felt, Dan Treacy is among the great lost songwriters... I don't have my original LP handy but it sounds like a different version of "glittering prizes" here 🤔 unbelievably essential record
Yes, well ahead of its time...even tho there were other great sounding bands of similar originality...this is particularly timeless for any generations pleasure.
