I’ve said it many times before, every “next step” of my life there’s a new red vox album. It started with another light, and it continues to today. Hardships with friends, moving under uncomfortable circumstances, then again, and now finally being medicated for depression and adhd after years of it unknowingly disrupting my every day life. This is just another next step, and the sound track to it is amazing.
Same, for me it started with introducing the band to my father and using our shared love of music to reconnect. Sadly it later went on to an album being released shortly before his passing away, with him never having gotten the chance to hear it. Red Vox music has meant the world to me ever since.
I’d started listened to Red Vox’s music mainly through 2017, and I have this band to thank for expanding my musical horizons. Before them, I never would’ve given many bands and artists a chance. However, it wasn’t till 2019 when Kerosene came out that Red Vox would truly become a part of my life. See, I had just started my second year of high school at that time, and I was currently struggling with everything. O was stressed out, and dealing with tons of mental issues that had only then become this bad. And, throughout this, Kerosene was an album I would listen to many times. I didn’t even think much of it at first, but these times made the themes hit me more than it usually would.
Damn, you can really hear how they are maturing as a band. Im mostly into instrumental metal and other weird stuff, Red Vox has never really been "my style" (except In the Garden is like one of my favorite songs ever for some reason...), but I still really enjoy it, especially just seeing how they grow as a band and seeing Vinny succeed in new ways.
y'all really wanna kill the magic huh. I know one thing - if not for red vox and vin's streams I wouldn't be alive right now. I know that it's a bold thing to say, but it is what it is.
RIGHT HERE SON my mom literally passed away not even a few weeks ago the timing is like divine intervention for getting me through tough times just like with kerosene! I felt so strongly I told vinny he was my hero but he just said he was "some guy" and didnt respond to my next email lmao
God. I had a little injured creature I was caring for and it unfortunately passed away. Waking up the next day to new red vox on spotify felt like CHRISTMAS and absolutely made my day. Thank you four. Your music means the world to me, more than I can put in a little youtube comment.
Get listening to their other music!! In the garden is always a good one to start on, I personally love Ozymandias and Why can't this be easy It's great to know you enjoyed it though :D
red vox needs to tour in the UK at some point, as hard as i know that would be id love to hear all of this live. so much growth from what could go wrong.
@@BassBanj0 i would LOVE to see a live red vox show. i think from what vinny has said two of the guys in the band (not mike or vinny) have families they need to take care of and such too so they're pretty busy and more focused on that which prevents them from doing live stuff which is totally fair.
Holy shit that bassline slaps so much ass, I cannot wait for the next full album I love this so much. I also listened to Dark Side of the Moon and Echos for the first time ever yesterday, and I can really see the inspiration not in this song but many others, and its getting me into old prog rock. Thank you for everything Vin and the rest of the Red Vox crew, amazing stuff and I hope you have continued success and more bangers!
Coming back to this after a while, can you imagine this being played live?? It would be so sick. Imagine Vinny doing the first part of the solo, and Joe doing the second half, since the two parts seemingly have different tones, and you can hear notes with the first half's tone in the background of the second half. Edit: they didn't so that, but who cares, it's sick!
I feel like this is gonna be their best album. You can tell that it's going for something different, and I'm loving it so far, I can't wait for it to be finished.
Great energy here fellas, all the instruments and production are cohesive and pack a hell of a punch! Getting early The Cure and The Strokes elements nestled in there. Vin's vocal delivery has been on the up and up, this one feels like he's in the zone. Guitar solo is chef's kiss. The drums and bass are tight! And I reckon this is the best songwriting from the band. Looking back on their debut, they've really matured and honed their sound. Can imagine hearing this on radio!
Man. Red Vox drips in nostalgia for me. "What Could Go Wrong" was the soundtrack for my freshman year of high school and this bad boi brings me back there. About to enter my thirdish year of college and can't wait to go balls deep into this new album!! as long as u guys keep makin' tunes, you've got an audience that'll listen. keep up the good fuckin work dudes.
NEW RED VOX JUST DROPPED! This fucking RULES. I'm so excited for the full album, this has such a unique feeling to it compared to a lot of yalls previous music

I’m not saying Red Vox was ever not good but you guys went from a decent indie band to one of the best modern indie groups currently putting out music. I mean Mike is incredible on this album
First Greta Van Fleet released a new album earlier this year, my brother's band is almost done with their album, and now here's Red Vox posting singles off of an upcoming album. What a year this is. This one's definitely going on my Sh'moovin' playlist.

I am super excited! It's been years and Red Vox is still my favorite band. Vinny talked about the band on stream once and I had to check it out. I was hooked and right after Kerosene quietly came out and I loved it even more. After listening to all the music it's a real treat getting more. This is for sure my comfort band to listen to.

Seeing posted on spotify yesterday made my day so many times better, the rest of the day was just anticipation for when the songs would be available. Always incredible work !!!
Wow this is awesome! Straight up have already listened a few times now, this is a song you can turn on and rock/vibe with for any occasion. Really well done Vinny and the band! Looking forward to more.
I've been listening to this for a few weeks since it came out now and it's definitely my new favorite song. Thank you Red Vox for putting out awesome music.

I could literally hear this song on indie radio. Gonna love the newer direction of this album.

actually heard them on 90.3 FM KEXP
