Vinny has beautiful voice but when you watch him too much (as any common vinesauce subscriber does amiright) and you get used to his voice it feels kinda weird to hear him singing, I don't know. Anyway, great album!
God, thank you for this, Binyot. For some reason the Another Light playlist on the Red Vox channel wasn't autoplaying videos and I kinda feel like an ass for listening to it on other channels that have made compilations.
Vinesauce is a community of streamers. They have a presence on Twitch, as well as their own website. The channel you're currently on belongs to Vinny PizzaPasta, the founder of Vinesauce and one of the most recognizable streamers from the community. He also happens to be the lead vocalist and guitarist of Red Vox. As such, it is 100% okay to listen to the album on this channel, because it was uploaded by a band member himself. (I'm only joking. Just poking some fun at Audio Cracked).
Edit: I wrote this when I was 14 lol, I didn't mean to theorize about Vinny's life or anything, just the lore of the songs themselves. This is based off of another interpretation, but I see all of these songs following a sort of breakup. The first album seems to give us a start: A man finds someone he really loves, and it turns out it was all a fake, and his love just walks off. He's left with some sort of mental and emotional trauma or conflict. He dove into love headfirst without thinking "What could go wrong?". This accelerates into "Blood Bagel", with him possibly reflecting on his life a bit, and focuses more on anger. In this album, he sees all of this conflict as a desert, judging from the cover art- And as the sun sets, he follows it, because it's always been there. It's something different, a beacon, and possibly hope or release. This explains the rest of the story; The man tries burying his problems ("In The Garden"), bargaining ("Settle For Less"), he falls into depression, and finally comes to terms with it in "Burn a Picture". He's over it, and sees everything in a new light. Or, I could just be delusional.
I know this is a late ass reply, but I also like to think that In The Garden is about the Vinesauce community. It started off as something small, and grew into a gigantic uncontrollable jungle full of shitty memers. That's probably not what the song is about at all, but it's still interesting and can relate to anyone who's gone viral.
@@lostitem In the Garden is exactly that. It gets extremely obvious when you think about it. Even the title. What represents VINEsauce? Vines, plants, greenery. It's In the GARDEN, with tons of mentions about jungles and weeds and shit. This whole album is about Vinny's own thoughts and experiences, though not many people seem to realize it. Memento Mori is about a real existential crisis he had, according to him. The only song here that is arguably not about his hidden misery is From the Stars.
This isn't my type of music at all but I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that I love and enjoy the hell out of this. You guys are really great and it shows you all worked so hard on this album. I can't wait to hear more from Red Vox in the future!
Do you remember when you asked us to tweet your most played Spotify songs of 2017? In the Garden ended up being my number one most played song, and considering I listen to about three hours of music a day that's an astounding accomplishment in my eyes. You guys should be incredibly proud of the work you've put into your songs over the last few years.
The end of Burn A Picture where it repeats "there's another, there's another light" gives me chills and makes me tear up every time. Such a good album, all the music is so great!
As an avid Vinesauce fan, I remember Vinny talking about Red Vox and wanted to listen. Then this came out and I'm blown away worth how much I loved it. Everyone did an awesome job. Congrats to Red Vox for making such great music. Keep up the great work!
holy shit. Vinny your voice always surprises me. Your falsettos are fucking immaculate, i honestly cant put how i feel about your voice into words, its just amazing. and the instruments are so pleasing to listen to, props to everyone. i need to hear this shit on the radio so bad, you would be a hit.
theres like two members, and also people often speak alot about the drummer, so i wouldnt say theyre "forgotten" really. while yes theres more than just vinny, hes the main singer so obviously he'll get more attention, that happens to every band
I've obviously heard of Red Vox for a while now, but i've never listened to it as it's not really my kind of music. I got a notification for this and thought "Eh, why not?". I'm more than glad that I did, because this is some fantastic music right here!! Oh my, it really is an absolute pleasure to listen to! :D You've done something amazing here, keep up the awesome work!!
Recently split with my partner of many years, so when i saw Forgive & forget in the thumbnail, I listened to the whole album to hear that song. I gotta say, this is a really moving album
looks like this album is about to get me through another hard time. wishing all you guys in the comments and all the band members the best. stay strong and focus on improving yourself. if you dont feel like you can improve right now, get through until a time when you can.
Reno is honestly the best song Vinny has ever done. I like when songs just bring you in a vision. I imagine myself either freeloading or driving fast in a smoldering hot desert scene in America while listening to it. It really speaks to me.
Fuck yes Vinny. I've almost stoped listening to music since nothing spoke to me. This how ever hit the head on nail. The feeling, emotions, they really hit right.
A lot of the lyrics are very direct, which is fine but not usually something I'm into - however in this case, I happen to really connect with the messages in a lot of the songs, so that gets a pass and I really love this album! Something that disappoints me about a lot of internet creators with bands is that their music is always mixed terribly, but that's also not on display here as well and I'm assuming that's because all the folks in Red Vox actually gave a damn to find a good audio producer, or someone in the band actually knows what they're doing. This is really cynical for a positive review, but I almost didn't give this album a chance based solely on my experience with most of the music that comes out of people who run online media platforms and I just wanted to express how pleasantly surprised I am to find something I really enjoyed from beginning to end! They say every comedian wants to be a musician, and if that's true then I think Vinny is a catalyst for envy because he's living the dream. Great stuff guys, I'm definitely gonna check out more Red Vox!
Vinny. Seriously thank you and everyone else in Red Vox for your music. I find myself relating so hard when I’m not feeling well bout things. Your music is so nice and helpful for my state of mind. Keep it up. You’re doing good things. Quack

time to get a little personal on the internet but honestly this album's helping me sort through some nasty post-breakup and overall Shitty Depression feelings. I've been playing Tell Me on loop, it's so fuckin good, thanks guys.
oh my god this is amazing. This is like a conglomeration of all his influences, the beginning of Reno is so Floyd-esque, the chorus to From the Stars is almost Bowie like. I love it.
this is always the kind of music i imagined you making. every single time you talked about the new album. it's absolutely fucking fantastic and it's so great to just. hear it. thank you so much
I've been trying to figure out why even 3 more albums after this (soon to be 4 when Afterthoughts comes out) Another Light is still my favorite album they've released. not that I hate Kerosene, Realign, nor Visions or anything, this one hits very different for me for some reason. every song is just so different to one another and yet there's enough throughline that it still feels cohesive as an album. not to mention the staggering amount of great ideas packed into each song - all taking turns to periodically take the spotlight; be it the song-writing, the more elaborate song structures, the sound design on the guitars and the synths, the music theory, the amazing percussions, or something else entirely. not to say their other albums don't have these, it's just to me this album *_consistently_* nails and goes far and beyond with the experimentation of each track that I don't feel as explicitly present in their other albums. i've heard that this album was a big step up for the band, as they were experimenting with loads of music-making techniques that were completely out of their expertise at the time. i feel that is very evident in this album but also its 9-minute companion track Stranded. i hope any of the band members reading this comment don't get discouraged hearing a fan say an album they released 5 years ago is still their favorite considering the stuff they've released recently. again, I don't hate the newer stuff. I've never outright "hate" a Red Vox track ever. but this album clicks with me the most.
I agree that this album still feels the most experimental and packed with interesting, layered stuff. I think Realign being more "stripped back" (Vinny's choice of words) works for that album, especially in the second half, because it has this ethereal, dreamy, and even lethargic atmosphere to it at times. But to be honest, every album after Another Light has felt to me like Red Vox is still doing the "stripped back" thing by comparison. Although I enjoyed Visions, to me the album is still just "less" than Another Light. So I love Realign and Visions, but basically the further releases get from Another Light, the lower they are in my ranking. Another Light > Realign > Visions > Kerosene = WCGW for me. And yeah, I have Another Light bias since it was my first Red Vox album. You said you "heard" this album was a big step up, so I assume you're a newer fan. I discovered Red Vox maybe a week or two after Another Light released. But my understanding is that the track "Memories Lie," apparently by itself, delayed this album from a Spring release to a December 2017 release. There may have been other delays, too, but that's the big one I know about. In addition, the companion track "Stranded" was supposed to release, I think, in early 2018, but ended up not releasing until close to a year later in October 2018. After Stranded was over, Red Vox released the most "stripped back" album to date, Kerosene, in January 2019. I remember Vinny saying several times how much of a challenge Stranded in particular, but also Another Light, was to produce. That was the reason for them releasing a simpler acoustic album as their next. Anyway, I go on that whole history lesson tangent to present my theory: Red Vox doesn't want to go in as hard as they did for Another Light because it was exhausting to produce. I feel like every album since Another Light has been described with the exact words "stripped back" by Vinny at some point or another. And I'm not trying to be mean or suggest that Red Vox isn't trying or anything (I said I loved Realign and Visions). I hold this opinion as a Red Vox superfan. This is just the logical conclusion that occurs in my head, knowing the toil that went into making Another Light and also feeling that it just has more going on than any other Red Vox album. I feel bad having this opinion because it sounds like a criticism by someone who has no idea what's going on behind the scenes, but it is my honest opinion.
@@Saxorlaud interesting theory. I can see that being true. I mean, as a fan I wouldn't really put the pressure on them to make an album as elaborate as this one was because I feel like that might encourage perfectionism, which I have personally experienced myself and need not inflict that to other artists. I'm just glad they're able to release albums without the burden of them needing to be better than the last one. someday we'll get something akin to Another Light; but until then-we can enjoy what we do have. as to me being a "recent fan", it depends what you define as "recent". I found out about Red Vox the same year this video was released (2017), but it's also around the same timeframe I rediscovered Vinesauce. I've been coming across Vinny's and Joel's videos for 6-7 years through the youtube algorithm but never really stuck around to watch their full streams or their other highlight videos. it was only around 2016-2017 when I started to actively watch them and even braved myself enough to watch the full streams. I saw this video being the most recent upload on the channel and was kinda confused until I listened to it and realized the guy singing is *_the same guy_* that runs Vinesauce and makes duck noises for a living. I had my mind blown a bit. you could deduct that I wasn't there when the singles were coming out and didn't know about the delays until I read the comments on the Red Vox channel. I did know about the Stranded release though, since that came out a bit after.
Personally, I disagree with you both. Now, this is all about personal preference and opinions I know, but I feel like each album is a step up with the band. I feel like with Realign and with their new double album, you can hear the improvements with their instruments, specifically the song Apathetic Empathy on Realign. It's a huge mix of guitars, bass, and piano that I've never heard in any other song. Also, you can definitely notice the more confident and comfortable Vinny is with his voice. Both Vinsons and Afterthoughts have songs in which Vinny explorers new ways to express his voice like Elessar, Choking on the Spite, and Keep It Together. For the "Stripped down" comment, I feel like tracks like Winning The Most, There's a Time, Eminence, Playing by the Rules, Forgetter, and The Sound You Make instantly dismantle that notion, they are full and lush with production and each member of the band are putting their instruments in full effect and Vinny's voice is better and more defined than any previous albums before. Again, I know this is all personal opinion, and this is an 8 month comment, but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents.
Vincent is going to go down in history as one of those artists that separated himself from the mainstream and went his own way. It wasn't a bad choice to make, was it?
All these songs have been stuck in my head for years after having learned most of these songs. Another worms in the brainbox of my head :) I will always come back to these albums.
This is my first time giving Red Vox a listen, I've known about it for a while but never bothered before for some reason. When I saw your new album, I sent it to my watch later list (because I really wanted to give it a careful listen and I didn't had 45 minutes before me when I saw it), but man, I fuckin' love it! I'm more into metal, but I like softer rock too and this shit's pretty solid! I know firsthand how hard it can be to create music sometimes. I'm definitely going to check other Red Vox material, if you ever go on tour, let us know, I'll be sure to drop by if you come up in Montreal! Keep on rocking Vinny and crew! :)
I will very happily wait five more years if I could receive another amazingly strong album like this. These boys have genuine talent. Keep doing what you're comfortable with and let your passion flow!
This came up on my recommended and I had to stop by and say this is one of my favorite albums of all time. I remember listening to it for the first time, it put me in a trance and I didn't realize I had listened to the whole album until it was over. Thank you so much for this wonderful work of art!!! lots of love from a big fan 💚
I accidentally stumbled across this band as i was posting on 4chan /bant/, i checked it on spotify and i was like, heck that's a good band. Then i wanted to show it to my friends so i checked YT for link to the full album. I've been watching vinny fullsauce for 1 year now and i've never bothered to check his music when he announced it. Holy fucking shit i'm glad i came across it anyway. This is very good.
Listening to this for the first time after hearing you talk about it in vids/streams It is really helping me out atm as I've had a rough day. Gonna buy the Album so you get something for the effort you and your band have put into this. It's moving, calming, comforting and just an amazing album. Thank You for putting it out to the world
Don't know if you all know this, but that last bit of In a Dream (which sounds amazing by the way) leads right into Another Light. At the end of Burn a Picture, we also hear a distinct sound/melody, and I can only hope it too leads into Red Vox's third album.
Colton B Lots of the songs from WCGW had small little bits at the ends of them. I’m thinking Vin may have wrote those in knowing he wanted his second album to pick up where it left off, but not sure which song to end with.
I know this is on the Vinesauce channel and all the other comments are from like a year ago lmao,, but I just gotta say Red Vox is one of my absolute favourite bands (don't really have a #1), and honestly this album has really helped me get through some shit. The other albums too, but for some reason I just especially can't help but think about that when I listen to Another Light. What Could Go Wrong, Another Light, and Kerosene are probably my favourite albums, like, ever. Not just from Red Vox, I mean. Just,, in general. I have a lot of love for your music, Vin. Keep up the outstanding work brother 🖤
I can't believe how much I love this album. The smoothness of the transitions, the style of symphonies and the mix between slow rock, good ass drum beats and beautiful guitarplay is mesmerising. Nice work vin

Vinny literally makes corruption videos.

The duality of man
It's amazing that Vinny is able to stream and keep up with two bands; Redvox and Scythelord. What a dedicated man.
Doc Ketchup Joel is the one in scythelord.
Doc Ketchup I also love His science channel, did you know Vinny isn’t his real name? It’s Michael Stevens.
Aren't they the same person? He is after all, Mr. Sauce.
Yeah not to mention he watches Rick and Morty and created the popular app, vine. A real DaVinci of this generation.
Ah the injokes.
This has officially been my comfort album for four years.
I can't believe how good this whole album is, congrats to all of you who worked on this. Looking forward for what you guys have next

I had that problem as well. I just made a new playlist from the Red Vox channel.
That happened once for me but then I played it from the start again and it was fine.
vinny (vinesauce) is the bands original/ gaming channel. dont feel bad about listening here
Yeah, I mean from other channels unaffiliated with Binyot before he uploaded a compilation himself.
Wishing you well Vinny. You’re a beautiful soul and I speak for everyone in saying I hope you’re doing well.
That's a pretty interesting interpretation, you might not be totally off-mark there. Nice catch.
The guy who didn't like his name so he changed it to this for a while for no reason and liked it
Blood Bagel isn't Canon.
Listening to the "Room to Breathe" album, this girl may be Lyanna, who was met at an arcade? o3o
10/10 album of the decade
This isn't my type of music at all but I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that I love and enjoy the hell out of this. You guys are really great and it shows you all worked so hard on this album. I can't wait to hear more from Red Vox in the future!
Do you remember when you asked us to tweet your most played Spotify songs of 2017? In the Garden ended up being my number one most played song, and considering I listen to about three hours of music a day that's an astounding accomplishment in my eyes. You guys should be incredibly proud of the work you've put into your songs over the last few years.
My most listened was Reno, closely followed by In A Dream.
I feel bad for everyone in the band that isn't Vinny, they get no attention
this
That
And All the above
theres like two members, and also people often speak alot about the drummer, so i wouldnt say theyre "forgotten" really. while yes theres more than just vinny, hes the main singer so obviously he'll get more attention, that happens to every band
The drummer has quite the following, as well. A very interesting following.
Also, another band mate Joe gets brought up from time to time.
I swear the main guitar riff for Another Light is friggin' iconic. Every time I hear the song it gets stuck in my head.
Why the hell are the lyrics so good? And more importantly why isn't anyone talking about them?
Vinny has an English degree
@@randomdude_12335 there are a lot of modern bands out there so it's probably more that the ones with uncommon words just aren't radio popular.
@@randomdude_12335 you must listen to a lot of music if you truly believ that. listen to Destroyer. th-cam.com/video/06ZLNLz2yGI/w-d-xo.html

No this is very much the correct band
THIS WAS IN MY JAMS PLAYLIST FOR ALMOST A YEAR BEFORE I REALIZED IT WAS THE VINE??
looks like this album is about to get me through another hard time. wishing all you guys in the comments and all the band members the best. stay strong and focus on improving yourself. if you dont feel like you can improve right now, get through until a time when you can.
*_whaT I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS_*
Holy shit, Vinny sounds like a completely different person when he sings. That's just amazing vocal talent.
Easily the best Red Vox album

Reno is honestly the best song Vinny has ever done. I like when songs just bring you in a vision. I imagine myself either freeloading or driving fast in a smoldering hot desert scene in America while listening to it. It really speaks to me.
0:54 That soft voice... It's friggin amazing
Fuck yes Vinny. I've almost stoped listening to music since nothing spoke to me. This how ever hit the head on nail. The feeling, emotions, they really hit right.
This was a really good album, my favorite track is probably Memento Mori. It's hard to pick only one favorite though
Memories Lie.
For me
1. Momento Mori
2. Reno
3. In the Garden
i needed another excuse to listen to this
You didn't. You just got one.
The excuse is that the replay button showed up
VINNY I LIVE IN RENO, HEAD BACK TO RENO RIGHT NOW
A lot of the lyrics are very direct, which is fine but not usually something I'm into - however in this case, I happen to really connect with the messages in a lot of the songs, so that gets a pass and I really love this album!
I mean Maynard James Keenan is damn good musician and is hilarious so I could understand why Vinny so damn good at making music
Memento vineMortis
I didn’t even know you made music, holy crap

I came for the memes, but I stayed for the music. This is good shit, Vinny, you guys sound great.
been a vinny fan for about a year now, listening to red vox for the first time holy shit this is really good at the exact genre i love omfg
I can't stop relistening. It's so gooooood
time to get a little personal on the internet but honestly this album's helping me sort through some nasty post-breakup and overall Shitty Depression feelings. I've been playing Tell Me on loop, it's so fuckin good, thanks guys.
I know it's been 2 years but I'm glad this album helped you through a tough time. I hope you're alright now.
oh my god this is amazing.
This is like a conglomeration of all his influences, the beginning of Reno is so Floyd-esque, the chorus to From the Stars is almost Bowie like.
I love it.
I'm fairly certain From The Stars is a tribute to Bowie, so the resemblance is 100% intentional.
No way... I got into red vox a year ago and it was vinnys fucking band.. WHAT
I've listened to these songs over and over again and I JUST found out this was Vinny
this is always the kind of music i imagined you making. every single time you talked about the new album. it's absolutely fucking fantastic and it's so great to just. hear it. thank you so much
Man, some of these lyrics are seriously well done. "I'm so sad 'cause I never ever really had the right to be" stands out for me
I've been trying to figure out why even 3 more albums after this (soon to be 4 when Afterthoughts comes out) Another Light is still my favorite album they've released. not that I hate Kerosene, Realign, nor Visions or anything, this one hits very different for me for some reason.
every song is just so different to one another and yet there's enough throughline that it still feels cohesive as an album. not to mention the staggering amount of great ideas packed into each song - all taking turns to periodically take the spotlight; be it the song-writing, the more elaborate song structures, the sound design on the guitars and the synths, the music theory, the amazing percussions, or something else entirely. not to say their other albums don't have these, it's just to me this album *_consistently_* nails and goes far and beyond with the experimentation of each track that I don't feel as explicitly present in their other albums.
i've heard that this album was a big step up for the band, as they were experimenting with loads of music-making techniques that were completely out of their expertise at the time. i feel that is very evident in this album but also its 9-minute companion track Stranded.
i hope any of the band members reading this comment don't get discouraged hearing a fan say an album they released 5 years ago is still their favorite considering the stuff they've released recently. again, I don't hate the newer stuff.
@@Saxorlaud
interesting theory.
Again, I know this is all personal opinion, and this is an 8 month comment, but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents.
bro that transition from another light to settle for less was so smooth i thought it was still the same song
Vincent is going to go down in history as one of those artists that separated himself from the mainstream and went his own way. It wasn't a bad choice to make, was it?
Beautiful album about dealing with and letting go of the past.
wow yeah it really is
All these songs have been stuck in my head for years after having learned most of these songs. Another worms in the brainbox of my head :) I will always come back to these albums.
genuinely this album means so much to me
Brainyot thinks up another masterpiece
I can't explain it, but every time I hear Burn a Picture starting to fade out, I get so bummed out. Fuck I just want it to keep going.
Thank you so much for uploading this here. I love the little transitions, and this album deserves all the likes.
Vinny no.

Listening to this for the first time after hearing you talk about it in vids/streams
It is really helping me out atm as I've had a rough day. Gonna buy the Album so you get something for the effort you and your band have put into this.
It's moving, calming, comforting and just an amazing album.
Thank You for putting it out to the world
this is an actual masterpiece what the hell?
Don't know if you all know this, but that last bit of In a Dream (which sounds amazing by the way) leads right into Another Light. At the end of Burn a Picture, we also hear a distinct sound/melody, and I can only hope it too leads into Red Vox's third album.
Colton B Lots of the songs from WCGW had small little bits at the ends of them. I’m thinking Vin may have wrote those in knowing he wanted his second album to pick up where it left off, but not sure which song to end with.
That was the first thing I noticed and I love it
I know this is on the Vinesauce channel and all the other comments are from like a year ago lmao,, but I just gotta say Red Vox is one of my absolute favourite bands (don't really have a #1), and honestly this album has really helped me get through some shit.
God, Vinny's voice on From The Stars and Tell Me is so beautiful
