- This is the New Koenigsegg Gemera - and unbelievably... I've ordered one! 1700hp 4 seater mega car featuring a ground-breaking 3-cylinder engine, connected to a revolutionary hybrid-drive system. This is Koenigsegg's first 4 wheel drive car allowing the new Gemera to accelerate from 0-60 in under 2 seconds and onward to over 250mph!!

The thing is, the cup heating and cooling is realized with a peltier element, which means while it is pretty primitive, they can implement it without adding any noticeable weight

This is why I love Koenigsegg. Most people and car brands would be just happy with 3.0 seconds 0-60 time, but no, Christian said he MUST have under 2 seconds 0-60 time, and he made it work.
Massive respect to his vision and everyone behind the company, from making parts to designing the styling. Everyone at Koenigsegg are masters of their craft.

Yea that would make it even more impressive. Though he (they) don't necessarily have to start producing "affordable cars" themselves, at least in my opinion it would be enough if they invent and develop technologies and or processes that can be applied and used for those "cheaper" cars.
So I'm waiting, with great interest to see if their "FreeValve" tehcnology is "robust" and echonomic enough to "break through" in normal production vehicles. As I think they aspire to introduce them as a "separate product".

It is amazing what this company can do. Infact a number of small car companies have great products. A few engineering geniuses at this companies plus i think the access to super computers has leveled the playing field between large and small car companies

Yes. It is a shame that a lot of these cars are merely used as status symbols to show off, while they are so much more than that. These are technical marvels and deserve owners not with just big wallets, but that can also appreciate their technical side.

changes8 range is 430-450 miles. Will take about 5 minutes to fill up while you use a bathroom after sitting behind a wheel for 5-6 hours and off you go for another 450 miles
How realistic is it that you're going to drive 1000 miles straight? That's 10 hours of driving at 100 miles an hour. Now if you obey speed laws at 65mph than it will be 15 and half hours of straight driving. How is your bladder buddy? I didn't see a pissing cup coming with the car.

Shows that a car without true one to one power ratio can be faster then a one to one ratio car sometimes. This is faster then all of Koenigseggs one to one cars

@@allensaunders449 No no no AWD really has a bad impact on handling performance and makes the car heavier. Track oriented cars like Jesko or One:1 go with RWD for a reason. Sure AWD gives you a bit more grip with acceleration but the car really loses a lot of its fun factor and real performance in the process. For example Veyron or Chiron just can't hold a candle to Agera on track partly because of their AWD, but that's fine because they are luxury cars, not track cars. Seems like it is the same thing with Gemera.
And where did you pick up the idea that Gemera is the fastest Egg? Jesko will definitely be faster in everything except takeoff, and so are One:1 and Agera RS probably.

Handling: 9
Fun factor: 10
Cool factor: 10
Features: 7
Comfort: 5

Handling might get 7-8, and fun factor 9 and cool factor 8. Styling could get 8.
Quality might get 8 at least. Value will be 6. He is bound to compare this to a Porsche. Comfort will be 5. Unless they put some luxury seats, don't expect 6.

all 3 are good and are targeting different consumers, Tesla is for everyday people affordable premium, Posche premium with the name price tag, and Gemera of course would be better due to the $$$ at 1.7million USD 10x Porsche Taycan. I would rather a Rolls than this car unless i have a billion dollars in my bank account at my disposal.
