I think you really missed the mark in your assessment of this product. The skylight frame I could understand but this, this is a tool. This is the answer for busy families to keep everything in one spot so nothing gets missed or lost and can sync to the app on any phone keeping all parties up to date on what’s going on. It essentially replaces a paper planner, paper calendar, grocery list, meal plan, to-do list, and phone app all in one. This is helpful for individuals with adhd or moms carrying the entire mental load. If you don’t see the benefits of all of this then I’d assume that you don’t have children, or your spouse is the one keeping track of everything for them.
That's a valid response!! At the time of reviewing this, their marketing was directed in different areas and features weren't as robust as they are now! It seems Skylight has been super helpful for families and that's awesome!
I think it is great for a busy family. I definitely dont think it's just for seniors.
Yea we're realizing more and more how its a useful product and even integrating some of their ideas into our own Goally tablet!
Great for an adhd individual or family ❤
we think so too!
This would probably work really well for someone who has adhd and needs help organizing and remembering things
we think so too! nothing better than a big calendar!
That's why I'm looking into it myself!
oh nice!@@elise8116
This isn’t just for seniors. My kids are busy. I love the chore component as well as my younger kids who don’t have phones can see the daily schedule
It seems like a great product!
Was thinking this guy let's his wife do all the planning for the house
My daughter has 4 kids. With all of the kids activities, school schedule, and appointments, this is an easy way for she, her husband and the nanny to keep track on a daily basis. Also, she and her husband have their work schedules, meetings, etc.
sounds like a great application for the calendar! If you wanna check out a great tablet that helps boost kid's independence and executive functioning skills try Goally! You can check us out on our channel, or head over to GetGoally.com
Exactly what we use it for - to coordinate the calendars of 3 adults and 2 very active kids - it's a lifesaver!!!
ah we love that for you! @@craigsheldon7607
Couldn’t disagree more! I have 5 kids from 15 down to 1 year old. We have had skylight for about 6 months and use daily. Fingerprints are not an issue. Those games stuff for goally, no thanks. Enough screens at my house. Also it would always be lost. Get a Skylight.
Wasn't a comparison video, and thousands of families rely on their Goally (and the games too) for building independence and creating easy to follow routines! What works for you, may not work for others, so don't be so quick to judge :) we're glad you found a product that works well for your family! @@teamgibber
I’m looking for a calendar, I want to want this one but it doesn’t have a-lot of features for adults , over priced to me but it looks nice. if I had to choose between this and Amazon echo show 15 or a iPad I’d choose them first
that's an interesting take! We hope you find what you're looking for!
I just purchased an Echo 15. It’s terrible at the things I want. Chore chart and meal planning charts. I’m gonna return the Echo 15 and purchase this.
Sounds like a good plan!
Is the Skylight calendar a touchscreen or is just a basic display? Can you add events right from the Skylight or would you have to go to your app on the phone?
it's touchscreen and you can add from the tablet. They also have some add on membership where you can forward emails to your device and the app will automatically add it to the calendar.
it's a touch screen and you can add events right on the tablet!
I wanted to buy one of these for my daughter but….
I bought this for my millions of photos
ooh what a great idea! gotta love seeing memories pop up!
So i get that you want folks to buy your goally thing app vs this technology.. but as a busy family this frame has really helped us stay on top of all our kids busy schedules and chores. Seniors are not the market for managing multiple schedules at all.
You got the marketing totally wrong. This is for parents and families keeping track of appointments, events, tasks and chores. There's really nothing else like it on the market. You did them a disservice deeming it for senior citizens.
You didn't even show any features. What kind of review is this?
well thanks for that condescending comment! to be fair, there aren't many features on a calendar...
@@GoallyAppswell, for a review of a calendar, you'd think you would show the calendar part. Just my opinion.
@@TheWatchtower1they don’t want you to see the product. They want to sell you their goally tablet.
Wth? They better be offering me insurance for a freakin 300 dollar device.
it is quite the pricey calendar!
Yeah, I was interested in this until I found out you have to have a subscription. At that price point? No.
It is asking for a bit much we kinda agree!
Are these comments from bots? It's $600 for the largest and you still have to pay an annual subscription fee just to add pics to the thing. That's ridiculous. Just buy a damn ipad.
People like what they like!! Whatever works for you go for it
Your review is horrible. Your opinion is not even relevant to the product and what it used for.
