Nice video I wondered how well mine would do with a batwing mower. I currently use an older Woods 5’ cutter that I’ve had around but I don’t have enough cleared to justify any larger mower. Also much respect on what you said about people lowballing stuff. I bought a lawn rake years back from a guy that told me he was surprised I didn’t negotiate and I just told him I thought that’s what it was worth or I would have not come to get it. I hate trying to sell things anymore as everyone wants it for free or to trade something.
GOOD FOR YOU- YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! I HAD A L6060 CABLESS A FEW YEARS AGO AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE... YOU SOLD ME ON A CAB VERSION. WISH YOU MANY YEARS OF FUN WITH IT😊🇺🇸💯
I just wanted to say that I enjoy watching your videos and have learned a lot from you. You seem to have the world in the palms of your hands with money, properties, tools and just living amd enjoying life. I was very touched to see you give Jeff and opportunity to work with you. I hope the relationship continues to flourish. God bless you...
The camera can make things look and seem perfect, but I struggles the same as everyone else it’s just my struggles maybe different than someone else’s struggles.
The first of your videos I've come across. No doubt the L6060 is a really nice tractor. I had a really nice L5030HSTC, but bought a new L5740HSTC over the L6060HSTC because I have limited use off my left leg and the switch to left foot brakes made the L6060 impossible to use. The 60 Series cab is bigger than its predecessor and has a bit more power. We have bigger tractors, so power was not an issue. "Improvements" I made, may not be applicable, but here goes: had cab and light protectors with limb risers built (brother), new steps from Paul Short at Specialty Repairs, diff lock adapter. I also added wheel weights as I do a lot of ground engagement stuff, added bucket hooks. You will love the L6060HSTC more every time you use it. As to washouts, you can never be too careful, we've owned one of our farms since the eighties and one year while mowing CRP land with our M8540HDC, I hit one about eight feet deep, bucket caught the opposite edge and kept me from going in; son was working nearby with a tracked skid loader it would have gone right in.
Flip your flashers over on the rear of the cab if your gonna mow around trees, with them sticking up like that they will catch every limb and brake off, ask me how I know... but nice unit for sure, I love my 6060 it always impresses me
@@DavidFDay congratulations david the new powerful orange big working girl cant beat them thats pretty good from colmens delivering ya the tractor all the ways from tennisee to canada long road trip for her lol
Just watched the L3560 video and was looking for more info on that tractor but I see you have a new tractor. Anything wrong with the last one? If you already made a video maybe you could direct me to the background info. Thanks in advance.
I made a few videos on the L3560. Nothing wrong with it at all, just needed more weight and little more power to bush hog some of the property I have. The L3560 is a great tractor in its class.
Thanks. Sorry your video clearly stated that. I’m in the market for something smaller and there just doesn’t seem to be a lot of videos on the 3560. Great looking 6060 but a lot larger than I could convince my wife i need as my first tractor.
Looking at upgrading my l3540 to a new l6060. Do you happen to know the part number on the electric skid steer quick connect . My dealer hasn’t heard of it and I’ve hit a dead end Trying to internet search for it
No this is the factory draw bar but I can tell you the bushhog works better behind the L6060 than it did behind the L3560. The L6060 just has more power and weight to handle the weight of the bushhog.
I have the rear wiper and rear and side defoggers and trust me you aren’t missing anything. The rear wiper is terrible, especially the washer, it just trickles straight down the window.
ok great! the reason I ask is tractor time showed a Grad L but 40hp I believe, that they had to add 3" DROP to the hitch. they said u need 8" from center of drivshaft to the drawbar. I have the L 6060 also. now that you have the L 6060 would you go with the ts12 or stay with the 10? thanks for the response 👍
@@jonathangalloway5706 a lot of it has to do with what size grass/brush your going to be brush-hogging. I think the L6060 would handle the ts12 just fine.
Have you check the air pressure in your tires when mine was delivered they had the tires really aired up a lot. My back tires have fluid in them so if your going to let them down (just a little) make sure valve is at the top if you have fluid in them.
Interesting did you ever get this figured out? I have the same issue. I’ve never thought about tire pressure, but I do have a BH92 that I use about once a year so I am not sure if they need to have more pressure to support the backhoe weight.
I got a 4060 and it can turn a 6 foot land pride rotary cutter like it isnt even behind it. Those auto quick attach handles that you have would give me problems becuase I have to get out and stomp on my bucket to get it to seat and then lock it in. Wouldnt work for me.
I’m sure that tractor doesn’t know the 6ft cutter is behind it. I’ve not had any problems out of the auto couplers I really like them. Thanks for commenting.
Great mowing with the new mower, and great job showing and telling. Have a good one see ya bye

I have a 850 8' rhino scraper blade one of the best ones out there
What do you see for fuel consumption running that Rhino?
What is the length of the ts10 from the hitch to the back of the of the wheels? Trying to figure out if it will fit on my trailer.
151 inches

If I didn’t have to bush hog the CRP program field once a year I would not have traded the L3560 in.
Couldn’t track down a 3560 in the area with an 805 loader so I ended up getting a mx6000rops. It’s mostly built waiting on one part before delivery.
what’s the max diameter that Rhino will cut? 3”?

Rhino is doing a nice job. Why did you go with the L over the M?
I like the luxury features on the L verses the M. The L falls into the weight category I like.
That also
Dual-speed hydro is a nice upgrade with the L, too.
Absolutely
Did you have to use a different draw bar for the mower to work behind that tractor?
No this is the factory draw bar but I can tell you the bushhog works better behind the L6060 than it did behind the L3560. The L6060 just has more power and weight to handle the weight of the bushhog.
nice tractor where is the rear windshield wiper!!
I didn’t order a rear windshield wiper. I just didn’t see the need for it, I’m not going to operate the tractor in the rain. Thanks for commenting

are u running a drop hitch? or did u customize the hitch to get enough clearance for the cv axle on the drive shaft.
Every thing is factory. Nothing has been add or specially done.

My 6060 rides like a bucking bronco. Maybe it’s the extra cab weight raises the center of gravity? Really annoying.

What’s the height of the tractor from ground to top of cab?
For a quick answer I googled the height of grand L 6060 with cab and it gave 92.5 inches.
@@DavidFDay I was thinking that was your L3560 I’m looking at a 3560. Thanks for your response
@@wayneturner4006 that video may have been of my L3560 but I traded it in for the L6060

Yes i wish i had that size now. The TS 10 rarely loads the tractor.
