Nice work buddy, keep up the informational videos👍 Just as a point of interest, sometimes you can click and hold on a feature in your timeline and drag it back before other features👍
This was a great turorial. Thank you. A "minor" detail: Fusion 360 is now called Autodesk Fusion (this was a wise decision). You can see this when the application is starting up and on Autodesk's webpages.
If you make the cylinder into a pot with a lid, how can you put threads on it after the pattern and make sure the pattern will line up when fully closed? I can make a pot and a lid and follow your lesson on making threads - and your lesson on gauging the interference so that it will be in the correct closed position to pattern the outside afterwards (and it printed great - thanks!), but not cut the pot out of a shape like this one and then put the threads on after the pattern (and have it line up when completely closed). Any help would be extremely gratefully received!!! thanks!
Once you’re done patterning the cylinder. Do a “cut body” at the spot you want to create the lid. Do your threads like I showed in previous videos, but rotate the threads (and checking with interference) before combing them with the jar/lid. Does that make sense?
@ShopTherapy623 ooow yes- of course! rotate the threads without the body- of course that is perfect- How stupid not to think of that! thanks so so much!!!!
Just started in Fusion and I found this very helpful. You made it very easy to follow along
Your videos have been very helpful for a guy new to fusion! Keep up the good work Sir, it is very appreciated!

Drawing this on a sphere to recreate Spaceship Earth would be mind numbing, but cool
Equilateral :)
