Oh I hoped for reactions to Flake's songs, but I hoped you would do them in the order, as the videos were released. The first one was a hard one to watch and listen to. And it perfectly fits the message that Flake wrote just before releasing it. In it he said that he actually never loved Christmas and giving gifts for that one day, because, shortly, we should care about each other every day. I mean, there is a lot in that message and I truly loved every single word because I feel the same. So I expected something dark, sarcastic, maybe some parody, probably some fun, but definitely a sad overtone, at least. So when the first video was released, I had an image in my mind how it might look like, but it got me anyway. I haven't watched all the videos, but from those I have, the first one got me the most. Flake is a wonderful human being, just like all other members of Rammstein. They are all different but all have a good, big hearts. And no, I obviously don't know them personally, but I am still very confident saying that. It is just obvious from everything that they, as a band and individually, have done, said, created... My love for each one of them is endless. 🖤
The singer is Joey Kelly from the Kelly family. As I understood, Flake made this record with the help of his friends and well, Joey and Flake were even seen in a Documentary a few years ago. Maybe you have a look at the Kelly Family one day. They made it from street musicians on the stage. There is an amazing but also sad story behind it. Many of them lost their mother, as they where still a kid. Joey does a lot of projects on his own. This song is originally a song from "The Pogues" at least the write was Irish. He was very loved here in the Republic of Ireland. I am an Austrian who lives in the Republic of Ireland since 2017 so my apologise when I still do not know all bands and songs, in case some Irish are stumbling over this comment. Thank you and Merry Christmas also to you. ❤
I wanted to buy the album for Nikolaus (Dec. 6), but unfortunately there were delivery delays, so it wasn't delivered until last week. Perhaps it's a good sign that there was a lot of demand. Nevertheless, I am very happy about my “gift” and hope that many children will be helped with the money. I wish you a Merry Christmas.
I saw the singer of the (in Germany) famous German band Die Ärzte (the one with the top hat) in the singing and dancing crowd, too. Maybe he's there, because Die Ärzte (at least in my opinion) always tried to talk bad about Rammstein and tried to locate them in a "certain political corner" for decades. The punks of the Die Ärzte were always very leftwing. Maybe that is a message of this video, that even them are coming together for Christmas now and have abandoned their hostilities between the two bands. I think, I remember darkly some critical voices from some months ago, when it came out, that the Singer was doing something with Flake, because the lefties in Germany have abandoned their old line of attack to compare the Rammsteiners with the "Austrian Painter" and changed their strategy to a new line of attack to the fraudulent and wrong claims of defaming the Rammsteiners as "woman haters" who are doing "grape". So...this one time...I pay my respect to the singer of Die Ärzte because he overcame those personal and political struggles with Rammstein. Or at least with Flake. Maybe others here know more about that, but I darkly remember som uproar in the lefty "community" about a cooperation between Rammstein and Die Ärzte.
Haha - I'm well familiar with the song, but the video is quite fascinating and complex...and wonderful! I sure would never have equated the visuals with the song, but it totally works, imo.
With this cover, however, it is better that all proceeds go to children in need. For many artists, Christmas albums are often just a reason to grab cash.

Merry Christmas y’all 🎄
I loved the spirit in the cover of the great classic. It too will now be on yearly rotation. Cheers!
Nice, but nobody tops Kirsty and Shane!
Who cares..
No idea why I loved that!
This song was in the movie “P.S. I Love You”. When I first heard it.
You should watch the original video, feauring the Pogues! You will find the song, much easier to understand!
DOROOO...🥰😍🤩

First, you must watch the over Videos/ Songs, than you will understand the Message...

Can't beat the original, Pogues and Kirsty RIP Shane and Kirsty, this just sounds weak, not necessarily bad but it doesn't do it for me.
