Thank you! We have been very pleased with how it turned out. Still needs some more work done to it but it has really helped us be able to care for our cows much easier.
Thank you! We have been pleased so far with how it turned out. This is our first time designing our own. That roof will be really nice this winter when it’s time to AI some cows.
It has always been a struggle for us. We are finally getting to where we have a better setup. Looking forward to being able to do more artificial insemination
I’m from the suburbs but I really like y’all’s videos! They’re interesting to me. 👍👍 I have a question..have you ever had a major problem with a mama being separated from her baby?
We do run into that some. Typically they can find their way back to each other without us having to step in though. We have had them get separated on opposite sides of a fence and sometimes they have a hard time figuring out how to get back together.
Just found your video while looking at new squeeze chutes. I like y’all’s setup. Looks pretty efficient. Now that you’ve got some time in are you still liking the slam latches? Have they held up?
Thanks! So far we really like them, especially on the bud box. If it’s an exterior gate we will usually chain it also just to make sure nothing gets back out. For the interior gates we haven’t had a single problem with the slam latches so far. Saves a lot of time!
Can't hardly wait to get ours setup! those slam latches look nice. Any concern about gates getting bent and messing up how things line up? Looks like it made life a lot easier!
It’s very nice to finally be working cows in ours. Feel like we’ve been working on it forever. The slam latches are really nice! The gates also have chains for backup but we didn’t really use those. I don’t think we’ll have any issue with the gates being bent. My only concern is that little piece that catches on the latch but hopefully they will hold up. The slam latches are mostly used inside the barn so if something happens and one doesn’t work right the cows can’t get out too far.
@@FarmerHunt if you say so, just don’t think it’s necessary…I do have a small regenerative farm and rotate the cows daily and back fence every three days…No wormer, no vaccines, no fly control…works for me….NE Alabama
Guys. That is a great facility. Awesome!

"Bend over and I'll show ya"...Lol. I think Eric is my spirit animal.
😂😂 He definitely keeps it entertaining around here.
Looks good. Thats the hard part is the design and as soon as you make a decision on how to do something you find things you want different.
Exactly. So far we have been pretty pleased with everything we did
Great job on facilities design, well thought out. Especially nice under roof.

I think the set up is one of the best that I have seen love the roof over the whole thing nice .
That double lane is a great idea! Never seen that b4.
Thanks! We really like it so far.
Agreed, gonna incorporate that into my next handling facility
Good job fellers. I love your setup. You act like you know what your doing. I give y'all an A
Thank you we appreciate it! Sometimes you just gotta fake it til you make it.
Great job and great plan. Gadsden guy
Thank you. We have been pleased with it so far.
This is real nice.
Thank you. We were very pleased with how it turned out.
Just got a Q-87. Love those chutes
Yes they are great!
Good life I like it
Thanks. We enjoy it!
It worked good I think. Great job
Thank you! We were very pleased with how it worked. Luckily all the welds held up!
Everything worked great!
We were very pleased! Thanks for watching.
Great job.... For me is still a hassle to work catlle. I am very happy for you!

@@FarmerHunt I think that's the future, and will benefit the farm.
Great job
Thanks!!
7:50 Is this where the band tryouts are? I moo a great falsetto.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂 that was a good one come here and I'll show you
😂😂
oil your gate hinges, cows get to know those squeaks mean work up trouble.
Thanks for the tip!
Smart design. Is that single white calf a Charolais cross?
It is. That’s the only Charolais we own. My wife wanted a cow a few years back and that’s what she picked out.

My goodness, are all those vaccines necessary? I don’t even worm my cows…parasitic load is negligible. All natural here on my farm…
Preventative vaccines have always helped out cattle as well as dewormer
