Brings back great memories of exploring the Belgian countryside in that gray weather. As a guy from southern California with mountains everywhere you would think it wouldn't be fun for me. But it's green, gorgeous with endless off road and paved routes to explore. Then the bakkerij & brouwerij!
Great adventure, just getting into bikepacking and this story makes me want to get out and explore. Longing for the days without face mask when you could feel comfortable stopping for a coffee and bagel and actually sit in a cafe.
It was nice to go to a cafe or a baker and take a relaxed break without thinking before Corona made those trips now and for a longer time a little different.
Awesome adventure. Very valuable advice as well; keep your sleeping bag dry and keep an open mind. Do those two things on a bikepacking trip and you'll have a good time.

That's what we're all about. Plus almost everybody in Belgium speaks some English so foreigners should get around easy enough.
Laurens absolutely nails it. It's riding a bike, not racing a bike. Ypres always a totally moving experience.
