This time around we don’t! I think we plan to wait for the kids to get older first. Currently planning Turkey after Mexico but we will see!

Looked like such a cool place to explore!! Our family loves all sorts of ruins. You guys are doing great! It's so great your kids are learning about places/things through experience. Do you guys know much Spanish? Curious if you've used it much. My Spanish is so rusty. I'm sure I would try to say something and they would laugh at me 🤣
If you love ruins than you’ll love the Yucatán! We have been stunned by how many sites there are around here. We went to a few more that were far more enjoyable than this (videos coming soon). Other sites you can climb and explore the pyramids.

@@RaisingVoyagers Teotihuacan is not actually Mayan or Aztec. No one is really sure who built it. The Aztecs found it abandoned.

Chichén-itzá its a Mayan city!
Wrong wrong wrong! The Chichen Itza Equinox and the Serpent effect that the sun provides in certain days and hours of the year is one of the main attractions to this Mayan Archeological Site. In this effect, that brings together more than twenty-five thousand people each year, you can see the famous feathered serpent descend the steps of the Temple of the Pyramid Kukulkan, also known as The Castle.
You have no idea why Christ the Redeemer is on the list of Wonders of the World??
