You forgot to mention that a every single knight in the legion has the strength of a silver adventurer at minimum(which has a difficulty rating of 24-30, which means between lv 8-10). The fact that the empire has 80 000 people with the strength of silver adventurers or higher really speaks volumes about their military might
It's also seems to be that the empire has a large technological and knowledge edge to the kingdom, meaning if there's any nation that will reach gunpowder and combine it wIth maguc first, it's probably them.

I always got the feeling that the Empire was a tall build on a decent foundation, utilizing everything and everyone to their fullest potential and trying not to show weakness on any ground, be it magic, warfare or assassination. They are what the Kingdom could be if it wasn't for the nobles and their petty conflicts.
That said, the foundation isn't that of the Kingdom, which is why it could easily crumble if the Emperor isn't careful. That's why they played the long game with the Kingdom and that is why they offered vassalization to the Sorcerous Kingdom (Jircniv's growing paranoia aside).
I wonder what would have happened if they took over the Kingdom after all. They'd have a strong foundation to build upon and could maybe take on a different country then...
I had to say that scene when Ainz revealed himself to Fleuder was really well done in the show.

Baharuth is a meritocracy. I’d say they’re more enlightened then other kingdoms since they don’t let petty concepts like social status and gender hold them back.

Always thought of Jircniv as an Augustus who similarly used ruthless methods to reach and consolidate power, and then worked tirelessly to actually build a better world for his people.

Why don't they invade Re-Ulovale by sea? Then pillage south and once then let the enemy chance them into the city ports and let Fluter sit on a boat with his casters and destroy everyone with magic and arrows and cannons if they have them
