Imagine the forge master comes back after years having discoveredt how to forge the armour with ice only for ainz to give him an even more difficult metal. It also wonder if the super heat resistant armour will make the fight between zaryusu and cocytus (i think thats his name) vs PDL more exciting
I'm not sure if there is a video on this already but I would like to see a video on the current state of the kingdom of Re-Estize after the take over of E-Rantel. I barely remember any mention of them after the Massacre of the Plains.
I believe there was a whole volume dedicated to showing what happened to both the kingdom and the empire after the massacre. The kingdom’s situation can be summed up with this: Complete political chaos and devastating food shortages.
@@FlashiestRed There are no food shortages at the moment. In 1 - 2 years it will be a thing. They still have reserves. The total pupulation is estimated to be 9 million. In the middle ages over 90% were farmers. The loss at kaze plains was merely 2%. The main reason for starvation will be because of behind the scense schemes to buy out food/seeds.
From the dwarf fantasy I've read from different worlds about dwarves they usually have giant catacomb areas with holes in the top that allow sunlight/ rain to come in where they allow animals to graze or Farm! In a fantasy world it's not that difficult to come up with a solution to any tactically disadvantageous problem! 😈gn
In Dwarf Fortress, you can gain a lot of resources by making underground farms, cave wheat for flour and booze, plump helmets for fast growing source of food, pig tails for fiber to be made in to cloth. In World of Warcraft, dwarves living in kingdom of Ironforge got very few farms, but they are said to be rising mountain goats, and they got very good relationship with human kingdom of Stormwind next to them, and in recent history they even did build underground tram connecting capitals of both nations, allowing massive food transit. In Dragon Age world, dwarves are known for rising nugs. furrless rabbit like creature for its meat, in addition to fungi and mold farms. Dwarves in general mostly persist on underground fungi farms, ranching of resilient creatures, and hunting.
You forgot they also have access to a world class item that is 1 of the 20. The ores the dwarves use to power their forges is the same ore from the game you need to gather in order to make the world class item choloric stone, but just as in the game (the guild who took over the mine sold the ores instead of building up) the dwarves constantly use the ore to power their forges thus they have never had enough to create the world class item. Proof comes from the light novels when Ainz explains about world class items and remembers the time the other guild banned them from the mine, it describes the same characteristics as the ore described from the first dwarf POV chapter.
yes but after getting there ainz realized that there is no such thing in the dwarf kingdom, so he decided to make an ally / business partner with them ( runecraft & undead slave )..
I've tried rereading the section in question several times, but nothing in there states that the forges are anything special. If anything, the fact that the forges can't heat up a level 45 metal should mean that the forges aren't running any kind of fuel that could be comparable to divine-class material. There is one sentence that may be poorly translated that seems to say that the dwarves do know of a metal that can't be heated up: "In all the Cabinet Secretary’s knowledge, there was only one thing which corresponded to the description of a metal that did not get hot even when heated." I think, in all likelihood, the dwarves have some leftover metal from the player that was a dwarf who's kin (godkin) went off to fight the demon gods. Probably in the vault, stored away under all the gold and other treasure. Also, the "great chasm" almost certainly holds some great ore that will be useful for Nazarick in the future. Lots of places like that for Ainz's new adventures to go exploring.
dimensioning even the capitals of medieval-inspired cities in the millions is severely overestimating their logistical capability. Before the modern era Rome was the largest city in ancient history, probably followed by beijing. Sustaining those was a miracle by itself in pre-industrial times. A feudal society like those depicted here probably would be only able to sustain cities in the tens and hundreds of thousands in size, unless of course some magical explanation is pulled. Which i doubt is plausible considering how expensive healing magic is.
You know, I bet runecrafting is actually better than tier magic weapons because 1) fewer people have the potential to be runecrafters, probably meaning a higher level requirement to learn 2) runecrafting was rare in Ygrdrassil, if it existed at all, and 3) runecrafters would be more focused level-wise in crafting than an enchnater who doubles as magic-caster, and focused builds in Ygdrassil tended to be more powerful at what they did.

@@KeinerSavar oh right I forgot that the devastating food shortages were only predicted and not yet taken place.
Dwarves probably commit cannibalism because food isn’t exactly common in the underground and if you consider their small numbers..

They were talking about Heatstones which powers the forges instead of wood because ventilation.

The loss of a capital severely weakening a state? I think most in Europe would agree that the EU would be better off without Berlin...
