i applied for the 3 and 4 roommate options for both hyman soloway and 45 mann and i say that it’s co-ed, but i don’t want to be in a room with guys lol so have you only had female roommates or?
I have only had female roommates living in Mann and Hyman but I do know that ppl can have guy roommates so that might be what they mean buy it could also mean a co-ed floor. You should contact housing and let them know your preferences :)

Yes I lived in 45 Mann. I had a pretty decent time. It's a university residence not a luxury hotel. I only had wifi issues a few times nothing worth reporting. Like any plumbing back to back usage will drain the hot water but that's only temporary and doesn't occur often. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay at 45 Mann.
You know which room is yours because above each door there’s a letter which corresponds to the letter in your room offer. Unfortunately your daughter won’t know the exact layout of Room D until she moves in because the pictures posted on the uOttawa website are just some of the room layouts offered in Hyso. I was room D so her layout could end up looking like mine but you won’t know until September.

Ya. When I was trying to apply today I noticed that too, which was not the case for this academic year. My lease this year is 8 months. Annex never had 8 months but I'm surprised as to why 45 Mann and Hyman Soloway don't have 8 month options for the 2022-2023 school year

No TV in the living area?
No. There was no tv in my living area. There is room for a tv though or a portable mini projector could be nice for watching shows!

I’m not quite sure. You can try looking for loans or contacting the university directly to get a better idea on the options you have.
