Friends, in this game, sonic was already crying and suicidal, in fact, in the real game you wait, like, three minutes, but the creepypsata hangs himself a little different.
Nah he doesn't kill himself in the actual Sonic CD, just leaves back for Mobius by getting off Little Planet. He survives the same jump in the final cutscene so it's the same as saying "I'm bored af, bye" for him.
