YES! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!
Made this for @VSSONIC.EXEREVISITED, another VS. Sonic.EXE restoration mod. What's different? We're makin' it THE DEFINITIVE restoration mod (hopefully) by restoring things with as best accuracy as we can. But yeah, I've been working on this mod since that [Too Slow "CHR'd"] video came out. It came as a surprise that Triple Trouble (Encore): Retake was gonna be in the mod until eventually, we started working on the actual song full-time.
I will probably be excluding FLP releases, Inst and Voices.ogg releases, and other stuff until VS. Sonic.EXE Revisited has actually fully come out (with this song in it).
So, the goal for this one was to make a Triple Trouble (Encore) that was as accurate to the leaks we got as possible. I think after over a month, I finally did it.
I'd say I made an accurate take on Triple Trouble (Encore) with the help of Plushieo, and Lez.

Finally TTE I can enjoy, it’s not 15 minutes long (Restored I’am looking at you), it doesn’t have that annoying sonic part at the end (EXEternal).
It’s accurate to the leaks and I truly love it!

Pretty good, but feels like it's missing something, it's more like a remix than an Encore. It would be quite jarring hearing this after how intense Too slow and YCR encore were, but nonetheless, good job with keeping decently consistent with the official versions.

Agreed, apart from Knuckles, the other parts all feel kind of samey
Encore adds more complexity and intensity to a song, sometimes even changing the entire vibe ie: Sunshine Encore. This Remix while good feels very jarring compared to the vibe of the other Encore songs.

This is probably the most accurate recreation of TT Encore, I just thought that Tails part was a little too calm, unlike the other parts that have more intensity, but other than that, it was amazing :)

This would've been a great retake on triple trouble, if the unique swing and pitch wasn't limited to the tails section, and then switch to a generic Tt remix
Yeahhh, when compared to the original material, it was the only one that had any sort of swing tempo. We were thinking of giving Knuckles one too, but we wanted to keep the accuracy to the original material

As good as this remix is... My main gripe with it is the transitioning. Tails' section could have set the line for the rest of the song, but this key and format never gets revisited, knuckles' section feels copy pasted from the previous encore remix, and robotnik's section just comes out of nowhere. It's hard to follow this remix compared to the previous one honestly. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed this, but I prefer the previous variant more.
By previous, I assume you mean the one I did a little while back.
The idea for this remix was to be accurate to the WIPs (unlike the other one, where I kinda went off of what I thought sounded good). This includes remaking the Knuckles' section by Punkett, the leaked Xeno sections by MarStarBro, and expanding the missing sections with the few leaks we had, being Saster's Eggman and SimplyCrispy's Tails.
Of course, some of these don't mesh well in the transitions (case and point, the key shift from Tails to Xeno, since for whatever reason, SimplyCrispy had it changed for her part), but we attempted to make decent transitions between sections (the transition to Eggman's section originally by Saster).
Again, I get whatcha mean, but from what we've gotten out of the leaks we got, this is how it most likely would've sounded (with the exception of Tails' bit, I understand mine doesn't sound like Cindy's composing, but whatever).
@@ChronDeltadidn't expect a response! I appreciate you reaching out to explain the thought process behind the remix. However it does also bring up another issue now, at least for me-. A song shouldn't be explained to enjoy, a song should be able to be enjoyed on first hearing imo. Maybe I'm being too harsh but, it's how I feel.
Even so, I applaud the effort to stay accurate to the source material. I'm sure it wasn't easy. Though personally I feel if that approach were to be taken a bit less strictly, and given a bit more creative freedom, perhaps the song would have been easier to follow and much less confusing for me.
I getcha, yeah. It's like a joke, it's no longer funny once it's explained (usually). Personally, when someone explains a song (be it the reason, process of creation, etc.), I get a newfound appreciation for it, but everyone's got different tastes, and that's perfectly fine.
But yeah, we appreciate your support! It _was_ pretty difficult to closely emulate the leaks as accurately as possible. Of course, the taken liberties could have been handled better in some places, like you mentioned, but I think for what it has now, I like it- I think it came out pretty good.
