I like to see it as by freeing the characters and getting the emeralds, Xeno’s having a total mental breakdown so large the game is breaking all around them and this is the final battle, BF and GF are on they’re way out.
I think of it as Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman know they can’t escape but acknowledge Xeno can’t keep living and that the only solution is to destroy the game.

Kinda wish the 2nd Xeno part stayed in the same key as the GF part, bc it was SO DANG BEAUTIFUL. Bravo Cellocorp, another masterpiece on your mantle. Only complaints are the amount of key changes, and that the Eggman and Final Xeno instrumentals were a little loud.
That would've been amazing because that would mean the final part would've been in #e minor, and it would be amazing

the fact xeno needed/wanted to utilize the emeralds, proves that he's no where even close to as strong as the rest of the exes. Because if i remember correctly, the exe from One Last Round just outright shattered one and calls it a toy, could also be interpreted as the master emerald shrunken down, which would be even worse.
I am so impressed with this Remake its legit amazing and I will comment personally on. The ending I will say this is my own interpatation btw bf and gf died regardless of his form due the timer on it and xenophanes although seemed panicked he knew had the edge Also. I love this song thank you for making it even better!😁
Also to note on that xenophanes won via blast probably or he just killed him by a slash and gf probably died same way or blasting them both or slashing them both down at the same time.
And if you know sonic logic regardless if a person is a super form or not as long as the person they have is far stronger than them they can be defeated just look at sonic frontiers the last horrizen he almost died twice in the final battle by the ends weird blast and the attack he used to finish it off
Like infinte he was bumped up by the ruby yes but never used its full power and he summond a sun with little diffaculty
Also when he says "STOP!" Its all. Ruse to lure him in
Personally them dying is how the exe mod and triple trouble should have ended but the mod must allow em to live also I know its to make it fun I agree

However it's absolutely their call whether they want people accessing the FLP as "Decision Process" is legally protected. If you want you could try and get the instrumentals from Kraim and the Knuckles and Egg sections from Sobanoodles, and then redo the Xeno vocals yourself.

Okay I just went to revisit this. The Girlfriend section sounds EXTRAORDINARILY out of place compared to the other sections of the song. Everything else is all upbeat and powerful. Meanwhile her section is all somber. Like- I'm not mad at this incredible song at all! Probably top 5 TT Encores. Just feels jarring going right to somber after intense.

but I'm honestly not a fan of how BF just yoinks the Chaos Emeralds from Xeno, who is meant to be in Sonic's position mind you, so he should've been able to use them
they were RIGHT. THERE. quite literally in his grasp - Xeno would've used them to turn Super as soon as Robotnik's section ended instead of boasting, he might be a cocky bastard, but he's nowhere near an idiot
or atleast have Super BF be killed at the very end when Xeno screams "DIE!!!", it'd go to show that even though he used the Chaos Emeralds, he's inexperienced, and Xeno is still above him, _he is still God_
