Displacement matters,ride both the bikes back to back and fz25 will come out clear winner.its more comfortable ,stable at high speeds and refined at par with mt15.also the fz25 is more suitable for indian roads ,low on maintenance and with dual channel ABS.can be repaired anywhere as it has a basic engine.suitable for rural areas as well.
Exactly not to mention rear pillion can ride comfortably
Mt was my first choice bt the pillion seat and higher torque in the fz25 made me purchase the fz.

I've Fz25 BS IV. And personally feel there is no 250 cc bike more practical than this bike. It's built for city commuting and it does it best. The seats are very very comfortable, seating posture is very much upright, you can hang your bags on to rear horn like structure. The most fun part is you can overtake any vehicle the moment you want. It accelerates like a beast. I've personal experience that a 100kms ride with constant 90-100kmph speed gives you a better mileage than MT. MT is definitely a good bike with updated engine and all that. There is no doubt about this. But I think the reviewer exaggerated the points a bit. Above all, always buy your bike according to your needs. I'm a 6 feet guy with 90 kgs of weight. So for me a 150 was not an fun option. Because with this much weight a 150cc engine with low BHP would need higher RPM to reach a certain speed. That's why Fz for me is way faster, convenient and more practical bike.

Points to consider Fz25
In highway most will ride in 90s crusing speed because it's descent speed , safe and you can reach distance.. how much time you ride in 130+ even in long ride.. especially in Indian road conditions.. 110+ is dangerous unless there is good stretch of road in front of you.. also if you're riding in mountain roads or uphill you need torque... Which you have enough in fz25........ Maintenance is less because of simple built of engine design.
MT is for kids , Men ride FZ

i hav owned fz 25 abs version for 1 and half year.....i hav drove mt 15 for approx 50-60 kms.....
mt revs better but it will feel less powerful if u drive it after fz 25....
fz 25 is on a whole other level when it comes to the "pull" it provides as soon as u accelarate.

I would Recommended Fz25 bcoz Torque and comfort, pillion comfort Better than Mt15 as well as after Sell Service cost Lower than Mt15.

I use FZ25 since march 2019.
Its best in city, touring, off-roadin, even no road riding, also best in comfort with pillion rider.

I am a big mad mt fan but I have used the previous generation fz25 and just love it's mid range and low end performance and the mileage which is great.
while mt15 is surely a beautiful motor, fz25 is not that outdated either. Gets an aluminium (diasil) cylinder and forged aluminium piston. 10 port injector too. This is common to both engines. Power to weight ratio is the most important thing that most customers forget. p2w ratio is better on fz.
Wgen it comes to IC engines... There is no replacement for displacement(CC) when you are looking for torque.
High rpm reduce the engine life over time.

Unless running in an extreme high compression ratio and unless it's required Why put in liquid cooling😀😀. While riding no diff is felt on oil and liquid machines. If the engine remains cool even under full throttle riding...that's all what matters. Similarly power to weight ratio 😂😂😂 . These ppl have no clue about all that...

Fz-25 needs an update, the instrument cluster is so outdated, no slipper clutch, no need of 6th gear(5th gear is so tall), looks seems to be good.

Basically how Mt can produce high RPM is because they cut corners from torque and has 4 valves. And it can ride very fast on plane highways but as soon as it hits uphill, it will struggle and Fz will start shining on its high torque. So basically Fz is complete package for a family guy and also it has dual ABS.
@Ram v i never said mt15 can overtake fz25 on any terrain. I was just trying to explain how mt15 can produce such high speed being 150cc. Obviously RPM and Torque is interconvertible. So they just gave up torque and increased RPM. Being ~13 nm torqued bike it is just slightly better than honda deo being 10 nm.

FZ25 engine is air cooled...Check specs on trusted websites..Most of the reviewers telling it's oil cooled engine...It's just oil cooler there..we can't call it oil cooled engine
So is the same case with those pulsars and Apaches.. the only true oil cooling we have is the gixxer 250 series

Different tuning and aerodynamics
Difference in rear sprocket number of teeths 48 in R15 and 52 in MT + aerodynamics
Because mt-15 has short gear, while R15 has tall gears.
So mt-15 will give you better pickup as compared to R15 but R15 due to tall gears and more aerodynamic design will give you more speed.
