In Cinebench,YES. In games,thats a different story... more like 30 to 40% gains over your 5950X that cost twice more in release date... Its a gaming CPU and a really good one :)
@@marekkocian6672 this is true even a 7600 will beat the 5950x in gaming, unfortunately no game out there can use 16 cores. I have 3 systems all tuned to the max, 5800x, 5800x3d and a 7600. Tested fortnite warzone and valorant, the 7600 destroys the 5800x3d by a large margin. To put things into perspective I'm running into a hard cpu bottleneck in warzone even when testing with an RTX 3070 in low settings. and the 5800x3d sis running -30 in all cores, 3800mt/s cl13 1900fclk. 5800x runs 4.9 all core 4000cl14 2000fclk, averages are near 5800x3d level, 1% lows are significantly worse than the x3d, 7600 is running 5.7 on all cores 6400 cl28, destroys both the 5800x and 5800x3d in all aspects. Especially in warzone you can tell the cou bottleneck soo quickly cuz with the x3d even with a 3070 in low settings 1080p the gpu usage be droping to 60-70% at times, not with the 7600 though, clockspeed is the achilles heels of the 5800x3d.

-30 curve and 85° is around 18500 socre, how did you get 75° avrg? I have Arctic freezer II 360 whic is one of the best liquid cooling

no its not. Go to bios find "Precision Boost Overdrive", maybe you have 70° lock on "Enhancement" mod lvl3?
On the PBO settings in in the BIOS set the clock speed overdrive to +200mhz

I get 18050 with no xmp/expo and stock no co applied
This score is lower than my Ryzen 9 5900x and my 3 year old Threadripper w3925. Not very exciting.
