SOLIDWORKS Simulation Step-Up Series: Accuracy and Convergence

The video reviews accuracy and convergence within SOLIDWORKS Simulation. Accuracy is put in context and the three methods of manual-h and adaptive h- and p- methods are explained. Parameters that affect accuracy like element type selection and element aspect ratio are reviewed. Tools within the program that can give some indication of the level of accuracy, such as the discrete fringe stress plot, energy norm error and element result plot are referenced. Individual parameters corresponding to the h- and p-adaptive methods are explained.
