    Thank you very much! Such a great video! Lots of important details here and there, no only about the adaptive mesh... Beautiful!

    Hi, the adaptive method tab it doesn't appear in properties. No idea to activate the hidden tab, I have the premium version, and on internet there's no solution for it... Any suggestion?

      I have the same problem, did you resolve it?

      Same here... I have it in some models and not in others. Very weird

      Hi, it's available only for static analysis and for 3d elements only.

    Very nice Video. I t would be nice to just add this line to understand the main reason and advantage of doing the adaptive meshing.
    My input for this is the goal of adaptive mesh refinement is to obtain a solution that Improves the accuracy of finite element solution, while minimizing the number of elements and, hence, the cost of analysis.

    Thank you very much .the video is useful. Please, I need to know . Do the force you set .Is it half the force ?Because of symmetric , and what do we do if we wanted to put pressure instead of force?

    If the deformation scale is 29, how does this result compared with deformation scale of 1 ?

    • @goengineer
      @goengineer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vitul,
      The stress and displacement remain the same values regardless of what the deformation scale is. Deformation scale is a visual help - it multiplies the actual displacement by in this case 29 to make the bent shape more obvious. It helps us see how the part file is bending in an exaggerated way. And again, just to repeat, the results do not change.

    Sir,From where to study meshing rules,such as you where telling about kind of thumb rule to know the number of elements at depth etc

      Hi Basudev,
      The best practices for FEA are generally learned from either a mentor or in coursework. Coursework generally happens through a University class or the software vendor for the specific analysis software. Even the general rules are too numerous to list in the comments section here.
