Marr M2480D Installation on Brisbane's Kangaroo Point Bridge

Brisbane, Australia - Marr Contracting has been awarded the subcontract for specialized heavy lifting services on the Kangaroo Point Bridge. Spanning 460 meters, the bridge will be among the world's longest span cable-stayed pedestrian bridges.
Marr's M2480D Heavy Lift Luffing tower crane installed on a platform in the middle of Brisbane River, is key to lifting heavy components including the180-tonne pre-fabricated mast head to 95 meters - an engineering feat that would have been impossible using crawler cranes.
