My grandfather passed away in 2012, and every year on his birthday the family gathers at his grave and I sing this song because it was his favorite. It always brings tears to my mom and aunts.
Been hearing this song all my life by Frank Sinatra and many others and singing it for the last 40 years or so in Weddings, Private Parties, Birthdays, etc. Definitely it is a song that people relate to very easy because it tells a story from the beginning to the end since every body lives their life the way they want to. I have had the opportunity to sing it in every cruise I have taken with my family and won the first prize as the Voice of the Sea. !What a wonderful experience! Now at 63, I can only say, you sing your way while I sing My Way. Edgard Rodriguez Puerto Rico

Went for my last visit of my great friend Frank in hospice last year, the nurses told me that he would be "non responsive" - Really? I will change that right now...Sinatra was his favorite, so I put the Sinatra version on and held the phone close to his ear... didn't take long for his eyes to well up. I knew he was still there, that I would get a reaction out of him by playing this for him. When the song was over he looked up at me and gave me a big smile as if to say yes, I did do it my way. I will always keep this last memory of Frank Luna. Rest in peace my friend-

Hi... i’m from philippines, my grandmother said that if you sing this song you will die or someone will die, it’s proven here in philippines, it always in the news
The music was taken from a French song, "Comme d'habitude." Paul Anka heard the music and bought the rights and the words were modified. The original French song and the English adaptation popularized by Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley have different meanings. The original French is a song about a relationship where the couple live together but the relationship had gone cold. The singer tries to pretend that everything is fine. The person who wrote the original words, Claude François, agreed to sing the music composer's work if he could write the words. He was writing about his split with his then girlfriend France Gall. The English adaptation speaks about a person facing the end of his life without regrets. Claude François also sang the English adaptation.

Estoy mirando atrás
Y puedo ver mi vida entera
Y se que estoy en paz
Pues la viví a mi manera
Creci sin derrochar
Logre abrazar al mundo todo
Y más si! mil sueños mas
Viví a mi modo
Dolor no conocí
Y recibí compensaciones
Seguí sin vacilar
Logré vencer las decepciones
Mi plan jamás falló
Y me mostró mil y un recodos
Y más si! muchos más
Viví a mi modo
Ese fuí yo que arremetir
Y hasta el azar quise perseguir
Si me oculte si me arriesgue
Lo que perdí no lo llore
Por que viví siempre viví
A mi manera
Amé, también sufrí
Y compartí caminos largos
Perdí y rescaté más no guardé
Tiempos amargos
Jamás me arrepentí
Si amando dí
Todos mis sueños
Lloré y si reí
Fue a mi manera
Que pueden decir o criticar
Si yo aprendí a renunciar
Si hay que morir
Y hay que pasar
Nada dejé sin entregar
Por que viví siempre viví

The Killer song of the Philippines hahaha!
yes this song is kill people phillipines
Great people!
I am going to sing this at my leavers assembly in a couple of weeks. I thought it was fitting because its our journey from the beginning of high school to the end.
A Mi Manera El final se acerca ya
Lo esperaré serenamente
Ya ves, yo he sido así
Te lo diré sinceramente
Viví la inmensidad
Sin conocer jamás fronteras
Jugué sin descansar
Y a mi manera
Jamás vivi un amor
Que para mí fuera importante
Corté solo una flor
Y lo mejor de cada instante
Viajé y disfruté
No sé si más que otro cualquiera
Si bien todo esto fue
A mi manera
Tal vez lloré o tal vez reí
Tal vez gané o tal vez perdí
Ahora sé que fui feliz
Que si lloré, también amé
Puedo seguir hasta el final
A mi manera
A mi manera
Trump lost you traitor
@@joewonandtrumptardsarecryi8491 por si alguien la quiere cantar en español. You should try

Ah what a good song,I hope I won't get killed if I sing it on a certain South-east asian country
