All those games shown off, and the one game I immediately checked out and preordered before the video was over: Sushi Boat. It’s a wooden board with plastic plates of sushi that move like a conveyer belt. I may be a sucker, but it just looks too cool.
I want that revive expansion soooo bad!

All Lorcana boosters have two rare slots and a foil at the back. Rare symbols are the copper triangles. Silver decal is super rare, yellow shield is legendary rare
What do the colors represent in Lorcana? It seems like every color is super random Disney stuff.
Are these all from Gen Con! I went down every isle of Thursday and didn't even see half of these games.
I played the last iteration of the Marvel RPG so don’t know how much have changed. But it was slightly crunchy, maybe around DnD 5e in complexity. If you only have played DnD it might take a step or two to wrap your head around.
The foundations of Rome wall art looks amazing, but the big title in the middle king of ruins it. 😢
How did you get Fit to Print and the Revive expansion? They told me they were not available until the Fall
They aren't. These are early copies. We'll review them closer to when they come out.
Whew! Thanks for clarifying. I worked very hard all three days to pick up the hottest games for our convention library and these would have been near the top of my list.
Excellent work on the award show by the way! I busted a gut. The uploaded video doesn't do it justice with the crowd laughing and cheering they were doing. Maybe have to dub a laugh and applause track 😅

My first lesson in Co-Pilot school was proper dice rolling technique.
@@DTChrisYi nice, we didn't get into dice rolling until the advanced lessons began.

Love the un boxing videos but the girls were definitely the highlight of the video.
I think the Moana question was more geared towards the fact you're a large family man. I only have 2 kids and because of that there isn't a single Disney movie I haven't seen.

You got me on Ticket to Ride. Unmatched and Dice Throne, on the other hand, all all compatible with each other.

Wow, I didnt expect Flatout Games to be one of those companies that sell Kickstarted game in person before backers get them.
Note that some of these are review copies, not games that were sold at the convention. I couldn't tell you exactly which are which, but the Flatout Games ones were ones I happen to know.

Tom as usual says Gen Con is about buying not playing games. Venture out of the dealers hall and take a look at the 20,000 events with people playing games, or huge open gaming areas in the JW Grand Ballrooms, Gen Con library, BGG Hot Games room, or any of the company demo rooms.
There are far more people playing games than in the dealers hall at any given moment by a huge margin.
It’s embarrassing to see Tom so clueless with such a narrow dealers hall centered viewpoint.
You know I do wander the halls? Yes, there are TONS of games being played. But there are many other conventions that are board game playing focused. Gen Con is one of the least, especially considering it size.
@@thedicetowerIt it more dealers hall focused only if you choose to make it that way. There are just as many (if not more) open or event gaming opportunities than any other convention on Earth.
The lack of a large dealers hall doesn’t mean other conventions are more focused on playing games, it just means they are smaller. Especially considering how more than 95% of all convention/hotel space at Gen Con is devoted to PLAYING games, not buying them.
Your perspective is seriously warped.
