I like what you do very much, just one thing (I am a nerd myself): you never go down to Jerusalem, you go up to Jerusalem. You may have to pass through the valley of Kedron, so you pass down a little bit from Bethany , but then again up. Jerusalem is elevated, and all the travels for the feast were /are travels UP to Jerusalem. Just a nerdy thing …

I think the change in chronological order has to be due to logistical challenges. Like you have to find a good dancer and set up a very fancy banquet. So, I feel like it's okay to put it in Season 4 episode 1 instead

Just so you know, Brandon snipe also does not like the lack of order and chronology in the Chosen either it bugs him like it bugs you.
I like to listen to some of you guys talking about the show. And I’m older, so I get a kick out of how fast you talk. Everybody talks so fast these days I can’t even hardly catch up with you guys but it’s kind of funny. Probably good for me to figure out what you’re saying for my brain power! Ha ha.

I think that Jesus speaks to Shimeil with the others because he loves even if you don't love him back. That's the depth of God's love.

I must agree: season 4 is easily the most mature season of the show, but they veered from their original purpose at points.

Well they do add weird random things that never happened in the gospels and we all know you shouldn’t add to the Bible . Especially for the sake of entertainment.

G'day, David! Why do you think the writers changed Shmuel's character from one who was at least open to Jesus to one in direct opposition? I found that disappointing.

Shmuel exemplifies wanting to be open, but then being asked to stretch beyond tradition. Remember how Nicodemus cautioned him about keeping God in a box? Yusuf seems to be much more open, even coming to warn (in a disguise), He’s truly open.

Because it’s true to life. There are people just like him today. They have their own ideas how serving God or the Christian life should look like, they get too caught up in legalism or tradition and total miss what Jesus is actually saying and what He actually wants them to do.

I don't think they changed anything. This was likely Samuel's story arc all along. So close, but unable to truly believe; kind of like Judas.
