If you drill a hole in the handle of the ice cream area lid and put a loop of string through it, might make lifting easier and the string won't effect anything else. I live on a sailboat and use an electric ice chest as my refrigerator all the time, but take it with me for car trips or camping. Mine runs off a small solar generator fed by solar panels. I have a portable solar panel for camping. Peace
I love our electric cooler LeVar always thinks we don’t need it but I always find a reason to need it when we are camping or away from the house for a day trip.

It is not dual. ☹ I wanted it for hurricane season and camping. It is working great in the house keeping beverages out of my small house refrigerator. Wish I had seen this one 1st.

Actually, it didn’t really cost us much. We traded in one of our old cars and got $2k less than we paid for it and with the federal tax incentive of $7500, it was close to a wash. When you add in the fact there’s almost no maintenance on a Tesla (no oil changes or service visits other than tires) it makes it worth it
Need to replace my Whynter 65 QT fridge in my campervan. The inside is painted metal and after 6 years started to rust. I sanded, treated the rust and repainted the inside and it kept rusting. Finally repainted with Plasti Dip and it's a bit better but the rust makes it way back in at the top inside of the cooler. My next fridge will not have a metal inside.

I bought the Aspen 30 Pro but there is something wrong with the thermostat or temp display. The internal temperature does not cool to the temperature that is displayed on the cooler display. The actual temperature in the fridge section is 6 degrees F warmer and the freezer section is 10 degrees warmer. How is yours? Have you tested your temps?
Probably not a lot. Ballpark guesstimate would be 2 to 4 miles over the course of a day. Figure it uses 60watts per hour to run. If we were to run it for 16 hours , that would be 1kw and the Model Y gets between 3 to 4 miles per Kw.

Trade it in before the battery needs replaced! Those EV batteries are very expensive.
