I am so glad Hugh Grant got it! We still have a race for the Oscars! That 5th place is still in competition! 🎉 Jamie Lee Curtis 🤯 but I like it😊 And heart always with Demi Moore ❤

Emilia Perez is my favorite film of the year. It’s so artistic and beautifully heartbreaking. What is disgraceful about it? It’s a very unique story, and being that it’s a musical with huge production numbers, singing, acting, dancing, all while telling a story that transcends the usual cookie cutter movies that we are all bored to death with. I’m sorry, I respectfully disagree with your comment and think you should open up your mind to new ideas, expressions, and cultures. This film, with all of its nominations, is very well deserved. Not disgraceful.
@@gabrielcastaneda9700 well we knew Torres wasn’t getting in cause of her absence on the long list. But Craig missing on his home turf was a bit of a shocker x
@@user-CatherineDodd excellent point. But given that she is the only bafta nom for hard truths (other than best British film) it’s unlikely she will be a threat to either Madison or Moore when their respective films scored in lots of significant categories. X
I’m sorry I’m not so knowledgeable about how the award season usually goes. But why is Wicked is extremely underperforming in the BAFTAs compared to other awards such as CCs
@@Kay-dz6xd because bafta typically have a more refined taste in what they nominate and Wicked is a fun popcorn movie that made a tonne of money at the box office in the same vein as Barbie or Top Gun Maverick - so they rarely feel the need to uplift fun moneymaker juggernauts. But Wicked did pretty well at BAFTA - it got 7 in total, including 2 acting noms which is a very good turnout. So be happy with that 🩷💚
Can the Oscars also please nominate Felicity Jones? I'm so happy for her and Saoirse Ronan getting BAFTAS noms
Saoirse is incredibly in the outrun, the best performance of the year

Jamie Lee Curtis over Margaret Qualley is a joke
