I think "prototype" glamrock freddy is normal shattered glamrodk freddy, because in the princess quest/true ending gregory takes shattered glamrock freddies head, keeping him alive. As we see, glamrock freddy gets shattered in fazer blast, and in that ending we see his body takes the same damage as this freddy. Also, if you look on the shattered model, it has hands with glaws, and only bass players such as monty and bonnie needed claw hands, meaning the hands he has are monties hands. Pleas pin this.

for absolute clarification, the first 2 lines are NOT said by prototype glamrock freddy. they are played when youre sliding down the AR tunnel into bonnies green room. theyre just really hard to hear because the lines a very quiet. the whispering lines are said when youre near prototype freddy with the mask on. and the growling lines are what prototype freddy actually say.
This is a Prototype G-Freddy most likely built in a whim during the Pizzaplex's construction before Monty was created hence he has Monty's Bracers. He most likely either had an incident handing out his Fazwatch to a tester during the testing phase of his gifting procedure causing his chest to have to be broken to free the person's arm or he suffered from wiring issues and was scrapped to the depths of the Pizzaplex to wither which he was shortly replaced by "The" Glamrock Freddy
And you never know maybe they stuck him in the roof to be the announcer, explaining why he looks like he’s fallen, and why even Freddy thinks his voice lines over the intercom are annoying.

I like to think that Prototype Freddy isn't trying to actually kill Cassie, but because he's missing his head his body is in some sort of security mode where if it detects a child he will try to take them back to somewhere safe, but because he isn't aware of his currrent state and because he's still malfunctioning he kills Cassie while trying to put her on his chest compartment

Maybe this could explain the word Prototype on the Foot. Freddy might've been a Prototype Animatronic that couldn't exactly follow Vanny's/glitchtrap's influence/control. Plus as a Toy Story 2 reference, his foot got painted over the word Prototype to conceal it throughout his activity in the pizzaplex and in sb. Even after he slowly withered as in cracked and paint fading off like the other glamrocks before they got shattered. The paint on his Prototype Foot is still on his foot. Guessing that after some time till Ruin, eventually the paint came off to reveal the word Prototype
This is definitely not a second Freddy because of the whispering and injuries. When you put on the mask in an area with an animatronic, that same animatronic seems to whisper or talk. Same thing is happening with this Freddy and it's saying the same stuff as the "other" Freddy.

The "Prototype" on Freddy's foot was a later detail added to the DLC. Notice how the marking wasn't there in the Ruin Trailer. This makes the Upgrade Station argument invalid. Not only that, but the marking could have still been on Freddy's foot but it was painted over and is only visible now since that paint has begun to peel away. Idk about you but it would be kinda funky walking around with a big word on my foot while singing happy birthday. I don't really understand what you mean about this Freddy not being real but uh... I just watched bro lift a steal beam off himself to get out of all that rubble. What seems more reasonable is that Freddy, being a prototype, was never actually registered into the V.A.N.N.I. System, whether that be on purpose or the company (in-game not Steel Wool) just forgot about him. Freddy being a prototype could explain why he was friendly to Gregory and didn't straight up attack him like the rest, as his system was not completely the same as the other animatronics (speculation, not confirmed). You should also consider that when you take the mask back off, Freddy reappears. Seems pretty real to me. Despite Freddy's injuries not matching up 100% with the when Freddy gets disassembled in the ending, they still match up SUPER well with what we got in Ruin. You also need to consider that just because something doesn't COMPLETELY line up, that makes the whole argument invalid. Consider Candy Cadet, who has gone through changes. His Ruin version and FNAF 6 version do not line up completely. Back to Freddy, let's start with the most obvious injury being the chest cavity, disassembled Freddy and Ruin Freddy both appear to have pretty similar injuries in that area. Another nice detail is that both of them have exposed hands with the claws, no bits of shell stuck on the hands, but completely exposed. Then you got the smaller details, the cracks on his hips line up pretty well, there's a chunk of his shell missing on his arm in both versions, both versions have a messed up right leg. Obviously the Ruin one has a bigger chunk missing since the building had collapsed at that point. -------- Now you're probably thinking that I'm just one of those guys who completely thinks your "whole argument is invalid because" this and this, but I actually agree with one thing you mentioned, as well as something I found on my own. I do agree that it's interesting that Freddy just has a gift in his cavity sitting there, although the way I think of it, it was somehow placed by some mysterious individual in his cavity between the events of SB or Ruin before the building collapses or right before Ruin after the building collapses. Why? We don't know that, but it just doesn't feel right that the whole time in SB there was another Freddy wandering around that we just never noticed. Another key detail that I found on my own is that the "Prototype" Freddy is missing the lightning bolt on his chest. Now this detail could totally go both ways for us. It could either be that the bolt was worn off of his chest overtime or there truly is a prototype that had no bolt on the chest. But you should consider how much time had to pass between Security Breach and Ruin. It's safe to say that the base game and the DLC did not occur a week apart from each other as some may think. Gregory and Vanessa literally lured the Mimic down below the mall, sealed the entrance with concrete, and even made a security system that's meant to stop people from discovering the Mimic. All that doesn't just happen in a week or two. So, as I said, there is in fact evidence that both arguments could be correct. They could either be different, or they could be the same Freddy.

I sincerely dont understand how people think this is a different Freddy, just because of the word "Prototype" on his foot. Why would they have a second Freddy in the pizzaplex? One, we definitely would have seen it during the main game, and two, its outright stated in the game that they dont keep any spare shells of the animatronics in the building, needing to order replacements in the case that one is damaged. There is more evidence pointing to Ruin Freddy being the same old Freddy that we see in the main game, mostly being his head. Its way too coincidental that this freddy just happens to be missing his head, and having the exact same damage as the 'Shattered Freddy' design from SB, not to mention he's also in Fazerblast, the location he was initially decomissioned in the main game during the Princess Quest ending, which we now know as being the canon ending. The whole "Prototype" thing is probably just a design change made for Ruin Freddy, its not like he was the only one who was changed. Roxxanne has an entirely new face in Ruin, yet nobody speculates anything about her. Now if its simply an opinion or headcannon that it's a different Freddy, I can understand that, but there are people arguing about it below in other reply sections. I just don't understand. It was never implied to be a different Freddy in the game.

A lot of people have been debating recently over which event is canon in this dlc (obviously princess ending, there will probably be more explenation on why 'prototype' is on Freddy's foot), which I am sure the devs will try to appease their fans on both sides of the parties

Just because Gregory took Freddy’s head means nothing, the freddy from ruin was a PROTOTYPE. In the base game h does not have prototype on his foot which means it’s not princess quest, if it was princess quest how did everything go to ruin?

I like to think that Prototype Freddy isn't trying to actually kill Cassie, but because he's missing his head his body is in some sort of security mode where if it detects a child he will try to take them back to somewhere safe, but because he isn't aware of his currrent state and because he's still malfunctioning he kills Cassie while trying to put her on his chest compartment

Maybe this could explain the word Prototype on the Foot.
Freddy might've been a Prototype Animatronic that couldn't exactly follow Vanny's/glitchtrap's influence/control.
Plus as a Toy Story 2 reference, his foot got painted over the word Prototype to conceal it throughout his activity in the pizzaplex and in sb. Even after he slowly withered as in cracked and paint fading off like the other glamrocks before they got shattered. The paint on his Prototype Foot is still on his foot.
Guessing that after some time till Ruin, eventually the paint came off to reveal the word Prototype

This is definitely not a second Freddy because of the whispering and injuries. When you put on the mask in an area with an animatronic, that same animatronic seems to whisper or talk. Same thing is happening with this Freddy and it's saying the same stuff as the "other" Freddy.
It is a second Freddy.
There's too much contradicting evidence to suggest it's the same one that's been with Gregory.

Prototype Freddy says Prototype (Gregory's Freddy can have the bottom of their feet seen on the upgrade station, it doesn't say prototype)
Prototype Freddy cannot be seen in AR at all which is possible evidence it may not even be real
It doesn't have any visible upgrades Gregory put on him, they aren't lying around nor is there pieces of them anywhere
There is still an unopened present inside his chest
It doesn't match any of the destruction Vanny's staff bots are shown doing to Freddy when she orders them to dismantle him

The "Prototype" on Freddy's foot was a later detail added to the DLC. Notice how the marking wasn't there in the Ruin Trailer. This makes the Upgrade Station argument invalid. Not only that, but the marking could have still been on Freddy's foot but it was painted over and is only visible now since that paint has begun to peel away. Idk about you but it would be kinda funky walking around with a big word on my foot while singing happy birthday.
I don't really understand what you mean about this Freddy not being real but uh... I just watched bro lift a steal beam off himself to get out of all that rubble. What seems more reasonable is that Freddy, being a prototype, was never actually registered into the V.A.N.N.I. System, whether that be on purpose or the company (in-game not Steel Wool) just forgot about him. Freddy being a prototype could explain why he was friendly to Gregory and didn't straight up attack him like the rest, as his system was not completely the same as the other animatronics (speculation, not confirmed). You should also consider that when you take the mask back off, Freddy reappears. Seems pretty real to me.
Despite Freddy's injuries not matching up 100% with the when Freddy gets disassembled in the ending, they still match up SUPER well with what we got in Ruin. You also need to consider that just because something doesn't COMPLETELY line up, that makes the whole argument invalid. Consider Candy Cadet, who has gone through changes. His Ruin version and FNAF 6 version do not line up completely. Back to Freddy, let's start with the most obvious injury being the chest cavity, disassembled Freddy and Ruin Freddy both appear to have pretty similar injuries in that area. Another nice detail is that both of them have exposed hands with the claws, no bits of shell stuck on the hands, but completely exposed. Then you got the smaller details, the cracks on his hips line up pretty well, there's a chunk of his shell missing on his arm in both versions, both versions have a messed up right leg. Obviously the Ruin one has a bigger chunk missing since the building had collapsed at that point.

Now you're probably thinking that I'm just one of those guys who completely thinks your "whole argument is invalid because" this and this, but I actually agree with one thing you mentioned, as well as something I found on my own.
I do agree that it's interesting that Freddy just has a gift in his cavity sitting there, although the way I think of it, it was somehow placed by some mysterious individual in his cavity between the events of SB or Ruin before the building collapses or right before Ruin after the building collapses. Why? We don't know that, but it just doesn't feel right that the whole time in SB there was another Freddy wandering around that we just never noticed.
Another key detail that I found on my own is that the "Prototype" Freddy is missing the lightning bolt on his chest. Now this detail could totally go both ways for us. It could either be that the bolt was worn off of his chest overtime or there truly is a prototype that had no bolt on the chest. But you should consider how much time had to pass between Security Breach and Ruin. It's safe to say that the base game and the DLC did not occur a week apart from each other as some may think. Gregory and Vanessa literally lured the Mimic down below the mall, sealed the entrance with concrete, and even made a security system that's meant to stop people from discovering the Mimic. All that doesn't just happen in a week or two.
So, as I said, there is in fact evidence that both arguments could be correct. They could either be different, or they could be the same Freddy.
If you ask me I think it isn't freddy because in security breach she mentioned how she was planning on slapping freddys suit on a different endo so that could've been something vanny made hence why it attacks us and why its in fazer blast because that's where vannys lair was

imma go with the headcanon that freddy always had prototype written on his foot but it was painted over and over time the paint under his foot would chip away revealing the text, and it has to be from the princess quest ending due to where freddy is (fazerblast) the big gash on his chest matches when the staff bots rip him to pieces, hes headless cuz gregory took freddys head with vanessa, and with the fact that afton is nowhere to be found bc we destroyed him in that ending, and Vanessa left behind the vanny mask which a staff bot probably found and gave to cassie

It is already been mostly confirmed that the Princess quest ending is cannon.
Theory: this is glamrock freddy from the base game but he got trashed for some reasons (also the box in is chest could posibly be that the staff just like put another box in it) and freddy just kinda got more and more dammaged left to rot in a room and he became agressive over time and maybe for his head they just took it off and used it for another model of glamrock freddy and they added the prototype lablle on his foot after replacing him

I sincerely dont understand how people think this is a different Freddy, just because of the word "Prototype" on his foot. Why would they have a second Freddy in the pizzaplex? One, we definitely would have seen it during the main game, and two, its outright stated in the game that they dont keep any spare shells of the animatronics in the building, needing to order replacements in the case that one is damaged.
There is more evidence pointing to Ruin Freddy being the same old Freddy that we see in the main game, mostly being his head. Its way too coincidental that this freddy just happens to be missing his head, and having the exact same damage as the 'Shattered Freddy' design from SB, not to mention he's also in Fazerblast, the location he was initially decomissioned in the main game during the Princess Quest ending, which we now know as being the canon ending.
The whole "Prototype" thing is probably just a design change made for Ruin Freddy, its not like he was the only one who was changed. Roxxanne has an entirely new face in Ruin, yet nobody speculates anything about her.
Now if its simply an opinion or headcannon that it's a different Freddy, I can understand that, but there are people arguing about it below in other reply sections. I just don't understand. It was never implied to be a different Freddy in the game.
