Chalk it up to sentient machines with human-like emotions and feelings being messed up by Gregory's damage followed by months of isolation. They've resorted to base instincts or desires in an almost animalistic manner. They can all sate themselves to some degree and that's enough, but Roxy can't get that satisfaction because of how physically damaged she is. So Cassie turning up, the little birthday girl with no friends Roxy remembers and this later on tracks her mind back to an almost default "Good old days" state where she was just an animatronic that played music and entertained kids. Just listen to her calmer tone of voice and song at the end of this video, that's obviously referencing her behaviour during those times. Anyhow, you could say Roxy mentally going back to happier times is her way obtaining some form of happiness, that's enough to snap her out of the virus or broken state she's been in to both self-reboot and come to Cassie's aid.
It only means that the fans are too emotional. I realize this is a sad moment, but this isn't a normal character development, it's just three lines of text that were added to make the kids cry.
The animatronics were easy to sympathise with from the main game, but this did help even more for Roxy. My biggest issue is that we didn't see enough of her to really feel the connection between her and Cassie. They should have had at least one proper scene talking, or interacting somehow. As it was we can assume there's a connection, but if was never really shown.

If you read between the lines from Roxy’s portrayal through all of SB and RUIN you can tell that she’s arguably the most “human” of all the other animatronics. On the surface it would seem like she’s very vain and self-absorbed, but yet she keeps putting herself down and tries to come to grips with not seeing herself as a failure. It becomes clear that she struggles with self-esteem and confidence, so much to the point were she tries to cope by criticizing herself harshly and often times is heard SOBBING over this. All of this were key components that made Roxy easy to sympathize with and recognize her as much more than just a “mindless angry machine.” That’s why a lot of people (me included) felt like there was a heavy dose of emotional impact when it’s brought to light that not only is Roxy not like the others, but beyond her corruption (Vanni programming) lies her true character and “human” qualities that separated her from everybody else as it could be understood from analyzing her behavior in the base game all the way to RUIN. That one cutscene alone along with what we already can infer from Roxy’s character is what makes this moment effective and a damn good one considering there was little build-up to both Roxy’s and Cassie’s relationship, but then again you didn’t need to. It would’ve established their bond further, but wasn’t something that I don’t think was necessary, so to speak. In some ways, depending on how it’s done, I actually like it this way because it gives me a chance to use my imagination and fill in the gaps that was left by the lack of information and acknowledging Roxy’s humanized characterization and relatability, I can completely see and visualize her being compassionate enough to have formed a strong bond with Cassie in the past, especially considering that the relationship was formed from Cassie being left out and seemingly abandoned by her “friends”, and knowing Roxy’s own burdens with self-esteem she probably assumed that Cassie might be going through similar issues since being left alone at her birthday would very likely damage a little kid’s self-esteem as well, so it illustrated an impactful friendship between the two. Also noting that Cassie’s favorite of the animatronics was indeed Roxy via item descriptions and other details in-game. The connection was there, just not in the way you expected and I’m one to argue that not EVERY detail needs to be shown onscreen as long as what IS shown is executed just right. It’s for all of these reasons that I think what they left us with was surprisingly efficient and effective with only a minor nitpick that I too would’ve love to see some more interactions between them and see more of their nuanced relationship, but what I was presented with was still a solid character building moment. I can only assume that we’re obviously going to see more of them in a future story update, which is one reason why I’m not concerned over the quantity, but rather the quality of what was there is what satisfied me.

I’ll be honest, after her interaction with Cassie, my opinion on Roxy has changed, i always thought she was a narcissistic egocentric sore winner, but, she’s shown that she’s capable of kindness, saying sorry to Cassie took me by surprise. Now that i know she isn’t always about herself, it makes me feel some sympathy for her. Character development skyrocketed, and I’m all for it.
Guessing she was worried about her looks and such before going out to meet any kids for events. But had a feeling that despite how she is, she's not as bad as some might've made it seem. (think most of them are except Monty, based on a few things and hints)
I’m pretty sure that Roxy’s personality in Ruin is what she was originally programmed with. But Glitchtrap corrupted and twisted the Glamrock animatronics personalities.

Roxy should be inspiration for all of us. She lost her beauty, she lost her eyes, she lost herself under Mimic's control, yet she never gave up, she still managed to be positive, she found and accepted herself and even helped Cassie when she needed her the most.

That "GIVE ME BACK MY EYES!" when she first sees Cassie really hit me hard for no reason. As did Roxy's crying. As does her voice in Ruin in general. She was done so well in this DLC!
This sweet and gentle Roxy is who she was always supposed to be, until her coding got messed with and her arrogance went from being cool-girl cocky to erratic and violent. swinging into a massive spiral of self-loathing. Every one of the animatronics is supposed to be tender and kind.
Can we add props to the fact that Roxy has managed, barring the loss of her optics and losing most of her casing, to stay fully functional up to the end of the DLC despite taking a go-kart to the face, wandering around areas on fire, somehow surviving Afton's bullcrap that resulted in both fire and the collapse of the Trapped Pizzeria and Pizzaplex (although **someone/thing** tunnelled out of there so it's not a stretch that the shattered glamrocks simply got out that way), spending an uncertain time staying charged up and 'getting some work done' on repairs to her endoskeleton before somehow shrugging off having a forklift dropped on her (that's about nine tonnes!) and getting clobbered by the mimic-and even then it's implied she survived that!
and she saved cassie even tho she was bling damaged a lot and got deactivated by cassie people hated on her for being narcissistic on secuirty breach but now everyone loves her because of the DLC
I think around the end point she was able to pull herself out of the darkness because Cassie distracted Roxy from her broken state. Or maybe just reminded her of the days when she was just an animatronic that played music and entertained kids. I'm hoping Cassie gets more voicelines towards Roxy, like long before they even meet. It doesn't make any sense how little she has to say about her animatronic friend until she actually shuts down Roxy.
It’s mentioned that animatronics have facial recognition, I wouldn’t be surprised if they also had voice recognition and Roxy remembered Cassie’s voice. Remembering her “special day” where no one showed up.
@@IzoQuartzthat’s true, that Fazwrench rebooted Sun/Moon, awakening Eclipse who is a balance of Sun and Moon with Sun thanking Cassie after Eclipse bid Cassie farewell now that Moon is technically no more, it also rebooted Roxanne Wolf. I have a feeling she will possibly have to use it to deactivate The Mimic if another DLC is in play, but that will not be easy
The way Cassie acts with Roxy is what Henry would have wanted for Fazbears, the children absolutely adoring the robots and being happy and then the robots taking care of the children and happy to do so, if that was the whole story it would be the best and would make him proud, unfortunately it's not the hole story. How Roxanne acts confirms it for me, that the robots even with their flaws we're meant to be amazing for the children, true friends. "I remember because you were number one... twice" she always associated number one with being the most important part to her, the fact that she associated Cassie with that shows how much she truly cared. This scene shows that she wasn't that scared and sad monster but at her core she was good and caring but scarred. From Glitchtrap, her own self-worth to even what Gregory did, it all damaged her and it is what was causing her to lash out. I always thought the personalities of the bots were always weird, that they seem to be exaggerations of themselves. Roxy was overly vain, Chica was beyond gluttoness and Monty seem to have unlimited rage against all things, but what we see with Roxy shows that this wasn't what they were meant to be, this was the corruption affecting them and making them monsters. Fnaf has never been a particularly sad game, well we felt bad for the children who passed but other than maybe the bad Vanny ending with Freddy this is the first time they've truly tried to pluck on those strings and they succeeded.💔🐺

There's also another line where he implies he wants to kill himself "I could make myself...sleep. But not yet." so he probably stayed to die by the fire.

It’s interesting in contrast to her dialogue towards Greg “I bet you don’t have any friends!” Spiteful trash talk aside, it’s as heartwarming as it is surprising to see her tender side.
When Roxie says to Cassie “don’t worry I’m sure your friends will show up this time” is just so sad as it seems to imply that Cassie doesn’t have many friends, maybe Gregory was her only friend that’s why she was so determined to find him after he went missing maybe she was bullied as she was set up by some other kids but either way it’s super heartwarming to see that Roxy remembered her and I really hope she and Cassie find their way out of the pizzaplex together

I actually feel bad for chica. Out of all the glamrock animatronics she got the worst of it. She lost her voice, beak, has a lazy eye, and her arm. And unlike the others she’s barely functioning and just hanging on for dear life 😢
Roxy is probably one of the most well developed characters in the entire run of FNAF. She has an obnoxious, narcissistic personality at the beginning because of her good looks, but as she gets more and more broken over time she becomes sad and desperate, because her entire persona was built around being attractive, and without that to her, she is nothing. She is also the only animatronic that genuinely hates Gregory for ruining her appearance, rather than just being mind controlled. Because contrast that with her personality towards other kids, she's so kind and caring. The part with Cassie shutting Roxy down was one of the most emotional beats of Security Breach and I'm glad they didn't mercilessly throw her out of the story
I loved her relationship with Cassie this game. She wasn’t self-centered and narcissistic like last game, always saying: “IM THE BEST!” Or, “Nobody likes you…” She’s definitely changed a lot and I loved seeing the wholesome interactions between her and Cassie this DLC.
Man deactivating roxy broke my heart. I already liked her in SB, and then that whole interaction between her and cassie before being given the promt to deactivate her, i had to take a long minute before i actually did it. And then the "cassie, what are you doing?" just hurt even more. WHY DID THIS GAME NEED TO MAKE ME EMOTIONAL??
I think at this point it's obvious what roxys deal is by the time of ruin she and the other glams, despite the events of the PQ ending taking place, are still under the effects of the storytellers (mimic1s) corruption, which is why she still acts like SB roxy when we first encounter her, hearing cassies voice clearly snaps her out of it and makes her suffer an error, presumably putting her into safe mode which is why she's much friendlier when we next encounter her, she acts a lot like freddy at that point. I've seen some people think she just hates gregory but like, that's not how it works, they're still corrupted, and after meeting cassie again, she becomes UN-corrupted, simple.
I mean, he did run her over, take her eyes, and essentially destroy her whole body. So I think it's safe to say Roxy doesn't really like Greg that much

Her commercial has her saying “nobody likes a loser” which likely contributes to her inferiority complex. She wants to be liked, so she has to be better and is highly critical of herself and her failures. Maybe that’s why she liked Cassie too. She knows how it feels to be left alone
Roxy is so amazing! I loved her before, But Ruin made me love her even more! She was so wholesome and adorable, And when she saved Cassie from the Mimic at the end was so badass and brave! She's the real MVP! I really hope to god she appears in another DLC or a whole new game after this, Her and Cassie deserve so much better! And the fact that she called out for Cassie in the credits, Hinting they both may still be alive, I think seals the deal that it's definitely happening. And I really hope Roxy saying "Cassie?" in the credits isn't the Mimic using her voice like I see some people theorizing, I'd be so sad and devestated if that was the case, Please don't let Roxy be dead! Steel Wool may work on it after they're done with Help Wanted 2, Idk but I really hope they do, If it gets enough high demand from the community they might.
Roxy was not a security node at all, the Mimic thought on deactivating Roxy with help of Cassie it would be too easier for him to kill her as the Mimic knows that her friends did not turn up on her last birthday so no body can help her but Roxy was her most beloved friend she will save her at any cost. So according to Mimic's instruction Cassie deactivates Roxy but she rather rebooted her just like Sun and Moon.
Bro complete props for making a character go from annoying to endearing. Ignoring the shit the mimic did to the animatronics (assuming the books telling of events is canon in the games) it’s genuinely sad seeing Roxy recognize and completely trust Cassie despite what she has to do in order to progress. I genuinely hope that the next chapter is focused on Cassie and Roxy so that they can interact more cause the best part part of SB was definitely Freddy being such an adorable big brother/best friend to Gregory

The birthday song and the 10 minute warning: both of those make me think that maybe instead of the cardboard cutouts around the beauty salon, we were originally supposed to have a full on flashback to Cassie's birthday party. If i'm right then It might have just gotten cut, and the Roxy lines might have been left behind since distorted versions of them can supposedly play while having the Vanny mask on.

Love it how right at the end she goes full corporate mode and is like "Ok Cassie, your birthday is officially over, time to get the next set of kids through." What makes this even sweeter to me, is that despite the built in programing to make her say that, Roxxy still clearly cares about Cassie considering what she does at the end of the DLC. Keeping it really vague here to avoid spoilers. If you played to the end or watched a paythrough you will know exactly the scene I'm talking about.
I love how "GIVE ME BACK MY EYES!!!" is less furious and bloodthirsty and more desperate and pleading. You can hear her voice breaking as she screams it. She just wants to feel whole again after (honestly unfairly) being torn to shreds.
Those lines suggest that Roxanne suffer from high expectations, pressure to deliver and she may have dissociative issue along with anxiety and low self-esteem. Funny enough, it appears that Cassie presence reduces Roxy levels of paranoia and increase her levels of self confidence.
So I am guessing Roxy and Cassie are quite common within them. In the lore, it seems Roxy doesn’t have any fans with her so as Cassie who rarely have friends. So when they met each other they are best friends and buddies. Roxy looks like she is more of an Introvert character who motivates herself to do her best. And Cassie is the one to comforts her. Roxy also be a friend with Cassie because Cassie doesn’t have much friends and no one is hangout with her. Friendships bonds are very strong between them. That’s why Cassie is crying non stop after deactivated Roxy you know, it’s like she just killed her only friend and the best one she ever had. Roxy also seems very caring to Cassie than anyone else. Tbh, I like this relationship. Gregory with Freddy and Roxy with Cassie. But after seeing Gregory done to Cassie in the end. I think relationship between Gregory and Cassie will ends right there. And we might have Roxy vs Freddy scene too if next story comes up, Freddy tries to protect Gregory while Roxy literally wants to yeet Gregory out of his family tree. So please Steel Wool please give us Character choices between Team Cassie or Team Gregory. Means you have to choose one of them to play the whole game. Both sides can be a cannon ending.
It’s so sad that Roxy has kinda just accepted the fact that she’s missing her face and has continued looking for Gregory. I feel so bad for her and Cassie, When RUIN launched, I didn’t think it’d be so intense.
If you think about it Roxy's who basically an AI has been alone for so long it'd only make sense she be focused on finding Gregory as the only thing she can recall happening last Glamrock chica can't talk and Monty is just completely broken at this point

I find it weird how the Glamrocks (excluding Freddy) seemed to hold a powerful grudge against Gregory, even before he wrecked them but with other kids, they're totally chill and kind around them.
Because they were hacked, which caused them to be violent. The tales from the pizzaplex novels (which seem to be canon, since the mimic is in them and in ruin), even imply it was Gregory who hacked them.
Dude it’s like these robots have a life of their own I’m not kidding they feel like they speak freely unlike the other Fnaf anamatronics like there is ghosts inside of them and they don’t even speak that much. But this game they just speak freely I really find this cool as this can be used in the future Fnafs.
Now I'm curious if Roxy crying wasn't about some narcissism she had, but the fact she's fighting against her programming and wanting to be free from it.

The "number one, twice" bit is actually quite odd. A computer doesn't need mnemonic devices; it just recalls the information stored. My best guess: as the animatronics' AI started developing beyond their basic programming, they had to develop tools, such as mnemonic devices, to store information that they wanted to be able to access without having to connect to the central servers. Obviously any of the animatronics could (when the pizzaplex was functional) query the servers about any information regarding any guest that's in the database. But the endos likely lack a significant amount of local storage, so any important information needed to be stored locally would have to be something they updated their own neural network with, rather than simply writing to a file, thus the need for a mnemonic device.
Do you know how long it would take to generate responses if ALL memory was taken into account? Imagine waiting for a ChatGPT response after filling it with hundreds of thousands of tokens of information (if it could handle that much). So obviously you will need an algorithm that will make sacrifices on the data. We forget things for a reason, we evolved that ability for a reason. Selective forgetting, and having some memories be more difficult to recall than others is not something that comes in by default. It's an intended important mechanism, not a flaw, and is also probably the only reason why we sleep, so the brain can peacefully go through all the information gathered throughout the day and pick which memories will stay, and how deep, and which are irrelevant. Thought that's speculative. So a theoretical AI like Roxy's would absolutely need to have the ability to forget and recall information, unless you run it on a quantum computer 1000 years from the future

The birthdate of a guest who had their birthday party at the pizzaplex would be stored in the system, likely based on facial recognition (we know they had such a system because Freddy tried to find Gregory in said system before realizing he was locked out). Such a system would allow an animatronic to scan the face of a guest and almost instantly have access to all of the data that Fazbear Entertainment has on that person. There would be no need to store a birthdate in local memory when the information would be readily available from the servers at any given point, unless the AI felt it was necessary to store said information locally for some reason. So, as I said, the AI would only use a mnemonic device to store that data locally by implementing it into their neural network if it was something that they felt was very significant.
i wonder if the children's voice samples are saved on their internal profiles that the animatronics set up, or if its something that the animatronics save locally. Roxy was distracted by her emotions and by being blinded by gregory, but once she calmed down a little, she recognized cassie by her voice alone. freddy used his eyes to scan gregory, but he didnt have a profile set up, which might mean that he never interacted with the animatronics, or it was removed by someone, since i feel like it wouldve been set up by an attendant at the front door at the child's first visit.
In the base game, Vanessa points out to Freddy that Gregory isn't in the guest database, meaning that he never interacted with the Glamrock animatronics until the start of the game. This is also why Freddy couldn't find anything on Gregory upon scanning him. From the looks of things, Cassie is in this database since she did have a birthday party at the pizzaplex, but only Roxy is still functional enough to access it since her head isn't nearly as damaged as Chica's or Monty's during their ruined state. It's also implied that Roxy by recognizing Cassie got an accidental reboot similar to Freddy at the start of Security Breach, restoring her to how she's supposed to be like (similarly nice to kids like Freddy is), which adds a sad touch to the base game.
Imagine if in the fnaf 11 game, if we get more voicelines from her, treading cassie like a mom, and the way we interact with her is by holding her hand and guiding her, and using her to destroy obsticles, you know what i mean? That would be perfect!

I think Roxy's change in behavior has something to do with Glitchtrap/Mimic/ whatever the entity controlling her is releasing control over her
I think Chica and Monty have already gone insane with time. Monty just straight up became a monitor lizard and Chica is a moldy mess.
It literally took 3 short scenes to make Roxy one of the most sympathetic characters in the FNAF franchise.
It only means that the fans are too emotional. I realize this is a sad moment, but this isn't a normal character development, it's just three lines of text that were added to make the kids cry.
The animatronics were easy to sympathise with from the main game, but this did help even more for Roxy. My biggest issue is that we didn't see enough of her to really feel the connection between her and Cassie. They should have had at least one proper scene talking, or interacting somehow. As it was we can assume there's a connection, but if was never really shown.

If you read between the lines from Roxy’s portrayal through all of SB and RUIN you can tell that she’s arguably the most “human” of all the other animatronics. On the surface it would seem like she’s very vain and self-absorbed, but yet she keeps putting herself down and tries to come to grips with not seeing herself as a failure. It becomes clear that she struggles with self-esteem and confidence, so much to the point were she tries to cope by criticizing herself harshly and often times is heard SOBBING over this. All of this were key components that made Roxy easy to sympathize with and recognize her as much more than just a “mindless angry machine.”
That’s why a lot of people (me included) felt like there was a heavy dose of emotional impact when it’s brought to light that not only is Roxy not like the others, but beyond her corruption (Vanni programming) lies her true character and “human” qualities that separated her from everybody else as it could be understood from analyzing her behavior in the base game all the way to RUIN. That one cutscene alone along with what we already can infer from Roxy’s character is what makes this moment effective and a damn good one considering there was little build-up to both Roxy’s and Cassie’s relationship, but then again you didn’t need to. It would’ve established their bond further, but wasn’t something that I don’t think was necessary, so to speak. In some ways, depending on how it’s done, I actually like it this way because it gives me a chance to use my imagination and fill in the gaps that was left by the lack of information and acknowledging Roxy’s humanized characterization and relatability, I can completely see and visualize her being compassionate enough to have formed a strong bond with Cassie in the past, especially considering that the relationship was formed from Cassie being left out and seemingly abandoned by her “friends”, and knowing Roxy’s own burdens with self-esteem she probably assumed that Cassie might be going through similar issues since being left alone at her birthday would very likely damage a little kid’s self-esteem as well, so it illustrated an impactful friendship between the two. Also noting that Cassie’s favorite of the animatronics was indeed Roxy via item descriptions and other details in-game. The connection was there, just not in the way you expected and I’m one to argue that not EVERY detail needs to be shown onscreen as long as what IS shown is executed just right.
It’s for all of these reasons that I think what they left us with was surprisingly efficient and effective with only a minor nitpick that I too would’ve love to see some more interactions between them and see more of their nuanced relationship, but what I was presented with was still a solid character building moment. I can only assume that we’re obviously going to see more of them in a future story update, which is one reason why I’m not concerned over the quantity, but rather the quality of what was there is what satisfied me.
Roxy and Eclipse are now fan favourites, and they both deserve it honestly.

I’ll be honest, after her interaction with Cassie, my opinion on Roxy has changed, i always thought she was a narcissistic egocentric sore winner, but, she’s shown that she’s capable of kindness, saying sorry to Cassie took me by surprise. Now that i know she isn’t always about herself, it makes me feel some sympathy for her. Character development skyrocketed, and I’m all for it.
Guessing she was worried about her looks and such before going out to meet any kids for events. But had a feeling that despite how she is, she's not as bad as some might've made it seem. (think most of them are except Monty, based on a few things and hints)
I’m pretty sure that Roxy’s personality in Ruin is what she was originally programmed with. But Glitchtrap corrupted and twisted the Glamrock animatronics personalities.

This sweet and gentle Roxy is who she was always supposed to be, until her coding got messed with and her arrogance went from being cool-girl cocky to erratic and violent. swinging into a massive spiral of self-loathing. Every one of the animatronics is supposed to be tender and kind.

Can we add props to the fact that Roxy has managed, barring the loss of her optics and losing most of her casing, to stay fully functional up to the end of the DLC despite taking a go-kart to the face, wandering around areas on fire, somehow surviving Afton's bullcrap that resulted in both fire and the collapse of the Trapped Pizzeria and Pizzaplex (although **someone/thing** tunnelled out of there so it's not a stretch that the shattered glamrocks simply got out that way), spending an uncertain time staying charged up and 'getting some work done' on repairs to her endoskeleton before somehow shrugging off having a forklift dropped on her (that's about nine tonnes!) and getting clobbered by the mimic-and even then it's implied she survived that!
and she saved cassie even tho she was bling damaged a lot and got deactivated by cassie

I think around the end point she was able to pull herself out of the darkness because Cassie distracted Roxy from her broken state. Or maybe just reminded her of the days when she was just an animatronic that played music and entertained kids.
I'm hoping Cassie gets more voicelines towards Roxy, like long before they even meet. It doesn't make any sense how little she has to say about her animatronic friend until she actually shuts down Roxy.
It’s mentioned that animatronics have facial recognition, I wouldn’t be surprised if they also had voice recognition and Roxy remembered Cassie’s voice. Remembering her “special day” where no one showed up.
I think being deactivated via the node with the faz wrench rebooted her and undid her hacking like with eclipse.

The way Cassie acts with Roxy is what Henry would have wanted for Fazbears, the children absolutely adoring the robots and being happy and then the robots taking care of the children and happy to do so, if that was the whole story it would be the best and would make him proud, unfortunately it's not the hole story.
How Roxanne acts confirms it for me, that the robots even with their flaws we're meant to be amazing for the children, true friends.
"I remember because you were number one... twice" she always associated number one with being the most important part to her, the fact that she associated Cassie with that shows how much she truly cared.
This scene shows that she wasn't that scared and sad monster but at her core she was good and caring but scarred.
From Glitchtrap, her own self-worth to even what Gregory did, it all damaged her and it is what was causing her to lash out.
I always thought the personalities of the bots were always weird, that they seem to be exaggerations of themselves.
Roxy was overly vain, Chica was beyond gluttoness and Monty seem to have unlimited rage against all things, but what we see with Roxy shows that this wasn't what they were meant to be, this was the corruption affecting them and making them monsters.
Fnaf has never been a particularly sad game, well we felt bad for the children who passed but other than maybe the bad Vanny ending with Freddy this is the first time they've truly tried to pluck on those strings and they succeeded.💔🐺

It’s interesting in contrast to her dialogue towards Greg “I bet you don’t have any friends!” Spiteful trash talk aside, it’s as heartwarming as it is surprising to see her tender side.
I love the fact that Gregory has Freddie as his companion, and now Cassie has Roxy.
When Roxie says to Cassie “don’t worry I’m sure your friends will show up this time” is just so sad as it seems to imply that Cassie doesn’t have many friends, maybe Gregory was her only friend that’s why she was so determined to find him after he went missing maybe she was bullied as she was set up by some other kids but either way it’s super heartwarming to see that Roxy remembered her and I really hope she and Cassie find their way out of the pizzaplex together

Roxy is probably one of the most well developed characters in the entire run of FNAF. She has an obnoxious, narcissistic personality at the beginning because of her good looks, but as she gets more and more broken over time she becomes sad and desperate, because her entire persona was built around being attractive, and without that to her, she is nothing. She is also the only animatronic that genuinely hates Gregory for ruining her appearance, rather than just being mind controlled. Because contrast that with her personality towards other kids, she's so kind and caring.
The part with Cassie shutting Roxy down was one of the most emotional beats of Security Breach and I'm glad they didn't mercilessly throw her out of the story
I loved her relationship with Cassie this game. She wasn’t self-centered and narcissistic like last game, always saying: “IM THE BEST!” Or, “Nobody likes you…” She’s definitely changed a lot and I loved seeing the wholesome interactions between her and Cassie this DLC.
Tbh Cassie and Roxy grown on me more than Gregory and Freddy as a duo.I'd like to see more Cassie and Roxy moments in the future.

I already liked her in SB, and then that whole interaction between her and cassie before being given the promt to deactivate her, i had to take a long minute before i actually did it. And then the "cassie, what are you doing?" just hurt even more. WHY DID THIS GAME NEED TO MAKE ME EMOTIONAL??
I think at this point it's obvious what roxys deal is
by the time of ruin she and the other glams, despite the events of the PQ ending taking place, are still under the effects of the storytellers (mimic1s) corruption, which is why she still acts like SB roxy when we first encounter her, hearing cassies voice clearly snaps her out of it and makes her suffer an error, presumably putting her into safe mode which is why she's much friendlier when we next encounter her, she acts a lot like freddy at that point. I've seen some people think she just hates gregory but like, that's not how it works, they're still corrupted, and after meeting cassie again, she becomes UN-corrupted, simple.
I mean, he did run her over, take her eyes, and essentially destroy her whole body. So I think it's safe to say Roxy doesn't really like Greg that much

Roxy is so amazing! I loved her before, But Ruin made me love her even more! She was so wholesome and adorable, And when she saved Cassie from the Mimic at the end was so badass and brave! She's the real MVP! I really hope to god she appears in another DLC or a whole new game after this, Her and Cassie deserve so much better! And the fact that she called out for Cassie in the credits, Hinting they both may still be alive, I think seals the deal that it's definitely happening. And I really hope Roxy saying "Cassie?" in the credits isn't the Mimic using her voice like I see some people theorizing, I'd be so sad and devestated if that was the case, Please don't let Roxy be dead! Steel Wool may work on it after they're done with Help Wanted 2, Idk but I really hope they do, If it gets enough high demand from the community they might.

Roxy was not a security node at all, the Mimic thought on deactivating Roxy with help of Cassie it would be too easier for him to kill her as the Mimic knows that her friends did not turn up on her last birthday so no body can help her but Roxy was her most beloved friend she will save her at any cost. So according to Mimic's instruction Cassie deactivates Roxy but she rather rebooted her just like Sun and Moon.

Bro complete props for making a character go from annoying to endearing. Ignoring the shit the mimic did to the animatronics (assuming the books telling of events is canon in the games) it’s genuinely sad seeing Roxy recognize and completely trust Cassie despite what she has to do in order to progress. I genuinely hope that the next chapter is focused on Cassie and Roxy so that they can interact more cause the best part part of SB was definitely Freddy being such an adorable big brother/best friend to Gregory

Like freddy, she showed pure bravery and care for Cassie.
Even blinded and beaten, she still protected her to run away.
Even after being pinned by a forklift, even being tricked, even after Cassie deactivated and removed her node, she still saved her because Cassie is her #1 superstar.
She’s not a monster in this game, she’s just mega pissed Gregory took her eyes which makes sense. Soon as she realizes she’s got the wrong guy she changes her attitude real quick.

The birthday song and the 10 minute warning: both of those make me think that maybe instead of the cardboard cutouts around the beauty salon, we were originally supposed to have a full on flashback to Cassie's birthday party. If i'm right then It might have just gotten cut, and the Roxy lines might have been left behind since distorted versions of them can supposedly play while having the Vanny mask on.

So I am guessing Roxy and Cassie are quite common within them. In the lore, it seems Roxy doesn’t have any fans with her so as Cassie who rarely have friends. So when they met each other they are best friends and buddies. Roxy looks like she is more of an Introvert character who motivates herself to do her best. And Cassie is the one to comforts her. Roxy also be a friend with Cassie because Cassie doesn’t have much friends and no one is hangout with her. Friendships bonds are very strong between them. That’s why Cassie is crying non stop after deactivated Roxy you know, it’s like she just killed her only friend and the best one she ever had. Roxy also seems very caring to Cassie than anyone else. Tbh, I like this relationship. Gregory with Freddy and Roxy with Cassie. But after seeing Gregory done to Cassie in the end. I think relationship between Gregory and Cassie will ends right there. And we might have Roxy vs Freddy scene too if next story comes up, Freddy tries to protect Gregory while Roxy literally wants to yeet Gregory out of his family tree. So please Steel Wool please give us Character choices between Team Cassie or Team Gregory. Means you have to choose one of them to play the whole game. Both sides can be a cannon ending.
The fact that after seeing the ruin dlc, I'm starting to like both Roxanne and Sun/Moon.
It’s so sad that Roxy has kinda just accepted the fact that she’s missing her face and has continued looking for Gregory. I feel so bad for her and Cassie, When RUIN launched, I didn’t think it’d be so intense.
If you think about it Roxy's who basically an AI has been alone for so long it'd only make sense she be focused on finding Gregory as the only thing she can recall happening last Glamrock chica can't talk and Monty is just completely broken at this point

I find it weird how the Glamrocks (excluding Freddy) seemed to hold a powerful grudge against Gregory, even before he wrecked them but with other kids, they're totally chill and kind around them.
Because they were hacked, which caused them to be violent. The tales from the pizzaplex novels (which seem to be canon, since the mimic is in them and in ruin), even imply it was Gregory who hacked them.

Dude it’s like these robots have a life of their own I’m not kidding they feel like they speak freely unlike the other Fnaf anamatronics like there is ghosts inside of them and they don’t even speak that much. But this game they just speak freely I really find this cool as this can be used in the future Fnafs.

I’ve always liked Roxy, to the point where I added her to Left 4 Dead 2 as the hunter. But Ruin just made me love her
The "number one, twice" bit is actually quite odd. A computer doesn't need mnemonic devices; it just recalls the information stored. My best guess: as the animatronics' AI started developing beyond their basic programming, they had to develop tools, such as mnemonic devices, to store information that they wanted to be able to access without having to connect to the central servers. Obviously any of the animatronics could (when the pizzaplex was functional) query the servers about any information regarding any guest that's in the database. But the endos likely lack a significant amount of local storage, so any important information needed to be stored locally would have to be something they updated their own neural network with, rather than simply writing to a file, thus the need for a mnemonic device.
Do you know how long it would take to generate responses if ALL memory was taken into account? Imagine waiting for a ChatGPT response after filling it with hundreds of thousands of tokens of information (if it could handle that much). So obviously you will need an algorithm that will make sacrifices on the data. We forget things for a reason, we evolved that ability for a reason. Selective forgetting, and having some memories be more difficult to recall than others is not something that comes in by default. It's an intended important mechanism, not a flaw, and is also probably the only reason why we sleep, so the brain can peacefully go through all the information gathered throughout the day and pick which memories will stay, and how deep, and which are irrelevant. Thought that's speculative. So a theoretical AI like Roxy's would absolutely need to have the ability to forget and recall information, unless you run it on a quantum computer 1000 years from the future
@@chmuurkaa3030 storing basic data is easy, especially with a proper indexer. The birthdate of a guest who had their birthday party at the pizzaplex would be stored in the system, likely based on facial recognition (we know they had such a system because Freddy tried to find Gregory in said system before realizing he was locked out). Such a system would allow an animatronic to scan the face of a guest and almost instantly have access to all of the data that Fazbear Entertainment has on that person. There would be no need to store a birthdate in local memory when the information would be readily available from the servers at any given point, unless the AI felt it was necessary to store said information locally for some reason. So, as I said, the AI would only use a mnemonic device to store that data locally by implementing it into their neural network if it was something that they felt was very significant.

The Glamrocks really do seem like more personality AIs.
Which makes sense because they’re more modern animatronics in the story.
i wonder if the children's voice samples are saved on their internal profiles that the animatronics set up, or if its something that the animatronics save locally. Roxy was distracted by her emotions and by being blinded by gregory, but once she calmed down a little, she recognized cassie by her voice alone. freddy used his eyes to scan gregory, but he didnt have a profile set up, which might mean that he never interacted with the animatronics, or it was removed by someone, since i feel like it wouldve been set up by an attendant at the front door at the child's first visit.
In the base game, Vanessa points out to Freddy that Gregory isn't in the guest database, meaning that he never interacted with the Glamrock animatronics until the start of the game. This is also why Freddy couldn't find anything on Gregory upon scanning him.
From the looks of things, Cassie is in this database since she did have a birthday party at the pizzaplex, but only Roxy is still functional enough to access it since her head isn't nearly as damaged as Chica's or Monty's during their ruined state. It's also implied that Roxy by recognizing Cassie got an accidental reboot similar to Freddy at the start of Security Breach, restoring her to how she's supposed to be like (similarly nice to kids like Freddy is), which adds a sad touch to the base game.
Her voice reminds me of that one time I was talking in front of an electric fan.

Imagine if in the fnaf 11 game, if we get more voicelines from her, treading cassie like a mom, and the way we interact with her is by holding her hand and guiding her, and using her to destroy obsticles, you know what i mean? That would be perfect!
